Hi there. I am currently in a job that doesnt require any of the education I worked so hard for…but with the current climate in the uk, I am so grateful to HAVE a job. I am hoping to achieve my true potential with the help of this website and by being in contact with like-minded people to increase the positivity in my life. I live in hope and faith that one day I will be the person I was supposed to be. I realise that this is where where God wants me to be at the moment, because I couldnt cope with stressful jobs in the past. Now that I am getting stronger, I look forward to increased self-worth, abundance and purpose in life. May God guide me through all my journeys of discovery.
Update 10/06/09: I am respected in my job and I am enjoying it now. I no longer feel I have drawn a short straw. I have gratitude now. I take all the opportunities that come my way and thank God for the growing respect and appreciation I have. I am a good person and I feel great! Thankyou bmindful.
Update: 29.10.09: I am being recognised for my worth and opportunities are arising thanks to continous work on my affirmations and being in touch with all of you. It really works. I am so happy in all areas of my life. I have gratitude, serenity and trust in the universe…..!!!!
Update: 18.08.10: Time to update this page again. Last few days working in the job described in this profile!!! Starting a better and more fulfilling job very soon!! Manifestation works - it really works! Married my dream man too. This universe is full of wonderful abundant opportunities if you want them badly enough! I continue to have serenity, peace of mind, gratitude and trust in the universe….even more so now!
Update: 29.05.12: In the last year and a half my affirmations have allowed me to manifest better financial security, greater confidence in my abilities, a promotion, and a redundancy (not so great) right before having my first child (really great) and therefore trusting universe plan. Time to write new affirmations for continued happiness and fulfillment in my new role as a mother…. It works if you work it!
Update April 2020: Wow - I haven’t been back here is ages. SOOOOO much has changed. I will fill this out very soon. The power of this site has drawn me back once again for new hope and new opportunities for growth. Namaste all x

Dear Anoushka, Yesterday I was reading an article on true beauty and it reminded me of you. Thought I would share it with you— ‘The perfect woman is not an idler; not a fine lady; but one who uses her hands and her head and her heart for the good of others. If she is working for the happiness of others, empathises with others and encourages others then she is beautiful beyond compare. We can embellish our outward appearance all we like, but the glow of true beauty rests in a pure heart.’ Just be true to your self and your inner beauty will shine through.

For releasing the excess energy you could follow any one of these techniques or even improvise: 1) Just sit straight in a quite place with your feet connected with mother earth.Close your eyes for better visualisation. You could imagine a ball of brilliant white light on your head/crown chakra.Just feel the flood of this spiritual light filling every part of your body with divine love, divine hope, divine faith, divine powers…. Go slowly to let it fill every nook and corner of your body. After bathing in this experience for a few quiet moments release this energy into the earth through your feet. Then raise your hands to chest level, facing outwards. Imagine a small earth in front of your hands. Release all your energy into the earth with loving-kindness. By blessing the mother earth with so much love you will release all the excess energy. Its a 5-10 minutes exercise. After doing it just move your limbs to shake off any remaining congestion. 2) You could just sit on a chair with feet grounded to mother earth and imagine a whirlling of energy around you. The visualisation will shake the outer aura and by willing all the negative elementals/energy to go to the mother earth you can feel fresh. After having visualised the whirlwind taking away all the undesirable things you could just sit and imagine deep peace descending on you from your crown chakra. Bathe in the white/golden light for a while, bless the earth and you are as fresh as you can imagine.

I had an excellent Fathers Day here in Australia. It was a lot of fun and enjoyed my presents from my 3y6m old son.
I’ve given up smoking and am having some challenges and more success. I’m finding myself feeling fitter and healthier and that’s a good sign.

I hope that being here with others that use affirmation for one reason or another and are saying that they help them will encourage me to do the same. I’ve been on ‘self help’ sites before & they really didn’t help. Maybe I was doing something wrong on them, I don’t know. This one seems to be different.

Is it possible when you start affirmations that what you want can come as a gift? Maybe from someone else - if it is money - can someone just chose to give you money? I am concentrating on certain things and opportunities are coming but in the form of a gift - i within myself have a block that it is true - how can i get rid of that block and believe that it is real?
