Greetings!
My affirmations are a vital part of my practice everyday. I mean I practice them!!! I come here quite often just to read them, and stay in a positive state at all times. I have been reading and watching Bmindful grow over the past couple years or so, and it is a vital part of my day to check with all my virtual friends. I can see everyone growing and becoming a wonderful community!!! Thanks! I feel a part of it, and appreciate all of the feedback and comments, and love and appreciate this site and everyone on it. Facebook username ~ Marilyn Schaepe ~ Come join me as friends! The OLDEST AFFIRMATIONS are on the bottom of the list with the newest first. Being left handed, I love this!!!! The affirmations go from the bottom up. After three years of reading affirmations, many many things have come true, some happened, are happening now, and going to happen, I believe it works! It’s what’s happening!!
Thank you, I love to keep reading and working on mine every day. I noticed we had some of the same affirmations and liked yours too. Isn’t it great to stay positive and have positive friends! I believe in the affirmation group consciousness, and learn something new from every person’s affirmations. I am pleased to have you as my friend!
Gee thanks Laurie! I work on my affirmations every day. I am an insurance agent. I specialize in senior healthcare. I go out to seniors houses and see seniors everyday. I travel a lot. Every day is totally different. I feel like i am playing a song before I know the notes. So I have very basic guidlines that do remain the same. I follow the basics each time I see seniors. That way the circumstances can always change but the basics stay the same. The whole country is up in arms about this subject of healthcare, right now. It is easy to imagine how leary the old folks are. Our job is to get them to the safest possible place with their insurance coverage, and they have to qualify healthwise. Even if it IS the safest place, it isn’t always easy to convince the senior. They don’t always hear well or see well or think too well anymore. They HATE pushing buttons on the phone or having to talk to a machine. Most do not have computer. The country needs to understand, that seniors are the largest population in the US at this time already. They are not the advanced techno portion of the population. The baby boomers are turning 65 and catching up to their retired parents. The medical technology is so great nowadays, things that used to kill the old folks, don’t anymore. They fix just about anything on them, strokes, stents, cure cancer, replace hips and knees, new eyes, you name it, it’s a miracle!! They have lived to where they have great grandchildren!!! Think about it, no generation has ever lived this long before, overall. No wonder the country seems weird politics. The majority is retired, doesn’t get involved or participate anymore. I work on my affirmations to fine tune them to fit what i am doing and be persistant to meet my goals of helping the seniors to be in the safest place! This is not the time for them to have any risk in their healthcare. Medicare is cutting back, and it does not cover everything anymore, so my job is to help eliminate this gap. I see real people everyday, old or not, they are the same as anyone else. They are people. Whatever the perception is, they are not some comodity to use and take advantage of. They live on a fixed income. Healthcare is usually at the top of their priorities,.
In response to laurie- does first things first~’s comment: I love the info you’ve shared about you and your life! I love older adults! Part of my education is in gerontology and hope to incorporate that in a better career. Love to chat more w/you some time(:
WOW I love all of your affirmations! GOOD TASTE! I like how short they are.. I just added you as a friend so I could come and check your affirmations all the time!!
I wish I could enter your head and hear them in person :-D I really feel like I wanna know what’s going on inside your positive brain; you must be saying amazing things to yourself all the time!!!
In response to Aisha’s comment:
OMG I was too excited about your affirmations; I didn’t realize how creepy and stalky my comment was!
It’s interesting how many people on here I feel like I kinda know, but have never added them as friends. Like you, I just kind of assumed you were already on my list. Over the last couple of days I’ve been trying to figure out how to used the website linkedin. It looks like a great networking tool for people who want to put in a little effort in building professional relationships, learning, mentoring and sharing knowledge. I hope you will create an account there and add me as a contact. My real name is Jeff Dumas if you want to check out linkedin. Also, Lauri and I are working on creating blogs on wordpress - another useful internet freebie!
Hi Syzygy!
Thank you for adding me as a friend. Thank you also for sharing about your profession with the bmindful community. You are so right about the baby-boomers turning 65+ and not liking to push buttons, talking to machines or not having computers. I think their earlier years were lived in a much less complicated way than ours are now. I also think post baby-boomers can learn a great deal from them.
I enjoy reading your affirmations. ‘I accept the mercy, grace and peace of Christ consciousness’ resonated very powerfully with me!
Many blessings to you!

Thanks! I just go out there and see Seniors all day every day. that’s all I do. I sure do enjoy them. In his mind, an old guy still is the same big man that he once was. I can see him as he was. Some of them are just priceless. all of them actually. We really need to get those old canning techniques and knowledge they have. Once their old, they don’t remember so much anymore. Some do and no one’s listening. They grew up as children hoeing the rows of crops then milking the cows BEFORE breakfast and THEN they went to school. Some of their grandkids and great grandkids need to learn the value of a hard days work! I am making so many friends and clients it is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done!! I’d like to be able to take a crew and interview some of them for tv or make a documentary. I am just their Consultant about medicare.
Hi syzygy. I just wanted to say I love the way your profile reads (My affirmations are a vital part of my practice everyday. I mean I practice them!!!) and love some of your affirmations. I’m going to feature your most recent affirmation (I Live in Easy World!) in the next newsletter (hopefully being sent out next week) Do you mind if I mention your name as it’s creator?
In response to Lee’s comment: Sure! What a compliment! You can go ahead and use all you wish. It’s great to be a part of Bmindful!!!, Thank You, Lee Yours, Syzygy
In response to Laurie Enjoys This Very Moment’s comment: Doing Great Laurie! Still seeing seniors every day…Love to You!!!
There’s just too many good ones to have them all so it has to kind of focus on you and what you’re working on or doing. Some people have it narrowed down to only one or two affirmations and I admire that. Lol…I need a lot more different affirmations and to revise and repeat them. You want all your affirmations to be stated in realtime and to be timeless at the same time. :))
