When I was 7, I experienced Acute Stress Disorder, where I found myself stunned. It only lasted about 2 hrs. I snapped out of it by accepting my circumstances, I never let that get to me. Today I still am strong and I take everything people say with a grain of salt. That’s the way I sore with the birds, on an eagle’s back.
Hi, I don’t understand ‘hederitary’ :-( The comments you read sound a bit aggressive. Louise Hay would not ‘blame’ anyone. What she says is basically that we are pretty much responsible for our conditions and have called for it consiously/unconsiously. I am not much of an expert and my experience is reduced to my few symptoms. For example I have some allergies, neurodemitis, which I have inherited from my fathers side. Mostly I keep it under control using affirmations. I guess the fact that I have inherited it, means that I have a bigger challenge with it than many others. Wish you a great weekend with peace at all times :-)
BTW, if you haven’t read Louise Hay book, “You Can Heal Your Life”, please let me be the 3rd person to recommend it to you. It is excellent. I love her and call her “my grandma”. She is such a wonderful matronly figure - so calm and reassuring…and peaceful. I went to my local library and downloaded a little mp3 file from her called “101 Power Thoughts” that I like to listen to. You know, in retrospect, I think I got more out of the expanded DVD than the book. I am more visual and I really loved all the other people who spoke about it also - like Greg Braden, Christiane Northrup, Doreen Virtue…
Peace!

This is a great site for everyone who wants to build on their self-confidence. I’m currently struggling with stress, downheartedness and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
