I embrace the power of using positive affirmations and know that they have made a difference in my life. Currently, I live in beautiful Wisconsin, USA. I work full time for a non profit resale store for the benefit of adults with disabilities. Every day is different, both at home and at work. Challenges are for a purpose, reasons are not always known, faith helps you move on in your journey and tomorrow will be different in a wonderful way.
Wow! Your are inspiring Jan! I love the sweet and poetic wording of your affirmations. Gratitude is a big one on my list too, and in fact my main motivation for achieving my dreams. I do struggle from time to time…well a lot. But hearing your words and comments on my profile have kept me on track today. Thankyou! God Bless
You have such wonderful affirmations. The one that made such an impact on me is: I always remember to be grateful for the life I have while I anticipate the bounty to come. It will definitely be in my affirmations. THANK YOU!!!!
Because I’m living here now and the future is even better!
Peace, godscreation Mary
In response to aftab’s comment: You know I was thinking the same thing..re:your creative names.
Glad you’ve been posting more Jan. You have a lot of wonderful things to post(:
In response to jancydat’s comment: Then warm fuzzy-city it will be(:
Use as many affirmations as you want. :-) I tend to borrow them myself from the guys here and from sone e-mails i get. If I see something interesting that I think I can use I go for it putting it in the first person cause it is an affirmation right? Something good that you will repeat to yourself and eventually convince your self of the intended outcome.
I’ve added you as a friend….thanks for adding me. You know, even if someone is just on Bmindful, visiting or a member, and not “added on” as a “friend” their still friends. Everyone who comes here is looking for the same thing. And it’s a good place to be.
I’ve been popping in now and then usually after I visit my farm and feed my fish on FaceBook….lots of good topics here. Everyone is interesting….I got a lot to learn from everyone.
One thing I gotta learn to do is shut up. :-) I talk too much. Even when I’m writing. Sorry.
OK, later Jan….am headed out the door to maybe catch a movie….Wolfman. Hope it’s good. Can’t wait till Alice in Wonderland or is it Alice Thru The Looking Glass? comes out.
Hi Jancydat!
You sure are right about receiving lots of support from this community. I have read some threads, even started one myself, and have gotten so, so much good information in the very short amount of time that I have been active on this site. I feel like my healing is in fast-forward, thanks to the kind words and great info people here have been sending me.
You are a wonderful Creation of the Universe!
Many blessings to you,
AnnieB
Thank you for that compliment! Just today, I was thinking I ought to be more careful about what I put out there. Try to be a little more “professional”, ya’ know. I figure, I’m still gonna write in an informal way, but I’m going to be more precise before I hit the “post” button. I find myself having to go back and fix stuff all the time. Also, your compliment got me thinking THIS. “Where is jancy’s blog? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more!

In response to your insightful post on my profile: Yes..I have been giving this much thought lately. For so long I have tried to find more blocks of time, work in an atmosphere that is more conducive to my passion in life, and have my needs met later in life..In order to accomplish that, I had to move forward.
In my current situation at work..there have been so many unacceptable things for anyone who really cares. I changed my attitude and found joy and give to many individuals that need our services. Though the joy and doing something good continued to lack because I have been very frustrated with not using certain skills and acquiring new ones to grow. I have been there for a long long time.
I do feel I have been held back by personalities who choose not to bring the best out in me..Though, not being a victim, I made it work for me. It provided a paycheck, and I assisted many..and both are vital to me.
So now, as I prepare for my day at this place of business, I ask for your prayers, that I can be the helpful joyous person, at least as I was before…and continue to work on my goals (to go back to school next month, find monies, and be the confident person I know how to be..and grow beyond where I am with some smiles and much joy).
Thank you my friend for caring as you have.
In response to db…’s comment: Good morning db and thanks for your nice comments. I’m in my nervous-energy-last-day-to-get-ready mode now (an ugly period which occurs before any trip);)Maybe I’ll return with a fresh spirit. Jan
