I am so grateful I found bmindful!

I am a huge fan of affirmations and publish many on my website.

I also publish the affirmations in PDF format along with self reflection questions that my visitors are welcome to combine into an ebook resulting in a beautiful publication that is exclusive to them and their needs. It’s totally free so visit my website and start building your ebook! (it’s very new so let me know if you have trouble, or the instructions aren’t clear.)

My website essentially has two sides to it.

The first is teaching how to get the Law of Attraction working to your advantage. Affirmations are used as a tool for changing your beliefs. I think that if you are not manifesting what it is you want for your life then a belief, concious or not, is the probable reason.

Secondly, I am beginning to provide resources on self improvement eg time management, wealth ceation etc AND resources to help with psychological issues such as depression, stress etc.

I look forward to connecting with you all.

namaste Sharon

Hello Shazsays! I love your name. I feel your affirmations. I would like to get some input re. meditations. I cannot seem to settle down and meditate. I ALWAYS have noise on. Maybe that’s my problem. Also, can you meditate with someone or is that a conflict?

Hi Jancydat

I wouldn’t meditate with anyone else because I would feel too self concious. However, that’s my personal preference. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with meditating with others. In fact, many years ago I learnt transcendental meditation in a class of 12 or so.

With regard to your “noise” problem that’s normal. When you notice your mind is chattering just slowly return to what you should be focussing on eg breathing, visualization or mantra.

Don’t concern yourself with how many times you notice the noise during a meditation session. It doesn’t matter. Just slowly and gently bring your focus back.

Apart from feeling relaxed, meditation brings long term rather than short term changes. If you keep meditating for at least 20 minutes a day over time you will notice changes. Things that concern you now will have lost their hold over you or perhaps you’ll notice you are more patient.

Anyway, hope that helps.

Sharon
