I am a science teacher/ballet dancer. That’s not a combination you see very often is it? I found affirmations through the work I am doing with my therapist…..I’ve become a Louise Hay devotee! It is changing my life….no, I am changing my life.
I am continuously amazed by the power of affirmations and positivity. At first, I just felt better, then other people began telling me I look different - happier, younger, rested. My family all feel the shift in me and are responding to the ‘new me’. IT’S GREAT! I wanted to find a way to support my goals and growth in affirmations and found this site. I know I will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much. I am so happy to have found bmindful! In a world where it seems we are all so increasingly disconnected and we are encouraged to ‘look out for number one’ - to have the unbelieveable good fortune to have foudn this community is truly a blessing. I know I can turn to my ‘cyber family’ at any and all times and receive love, support and wisdom. I’m definitely here to stay! Jennfier
Hi Jennifer, this is wierd, but whenever I thought of Ohio (never been there) I pictured it the way your avatar is, just different colors, more mustard tones.

The avatar is just an image I really like - gives a sense of calm. Ohio is a cameleon state - can be nothing but shades of gray in the winter, and greens in the spring/summer. Fall is gorgeous with those earth tones yous associate with the Buckeye State….but anyone from around HERE will tell you, we only see Scarlet and Grey! ( OSU colors).
I should post some of the pictures my daughter has shot in our very own backyard. You can’t look at them and not weep at the beauty of nature. She wants to be an environmentalist/photographer. Watch out Ansel Adams!
