★What are you listening to, right now?

I’m always listening to something. If I’m trying to concentrate then it’s probably pink noise but I’ve been up for a few hours and am just chilling out listening to:

Bonobo / Animal Magic / Terrapin

What are you listening to right now?

“How easy it is in our life, to miss what’s being offered.” — Paul Haller

Nothing this morning :)

Yesterday while doing housework, it was Ella Fitzgerald.

Focus

Love ella fiztgerald, it’s hard to find people who actually know who she is
I am listening to the sound of silence at the moment, no not Simon and Garfunkel, just nothing and it’s amazing what sounds are around, wind in the trees, birds etc.

Current CD that’s getting some play time in the car is the Rolling Stones. Great driving music!!

Tomorrow’s another day, so who know what I’ll be listening too!

“When you have the courage to step outside your comfort zone, life will never be the same again!”

Tool / Ænima / Third Eye

12 years on and it still gets a lot of air time

Prying Open My Third Eye

“How easy it is in our life, to miss what’s being offered.” — Paul Haller

1996 is treating me well today

De La Soul / Stakes Is High / Itsoweezee

I’m keepin’ it clean, like a washing machine

Moving on to 1997

Refused / The Shape Of Punk To Come / Summerholidays Vs. Punkroutine

Rather be forgotten, than remembered for giving in.

“How easy it is in our life, to miss what’s being offered.” — Paul Haller

Silence again my friend :) Sounds like a song title!

Focus

I love silence. Hard to find though, rare, even / especially these days.

Regressed to 1995.

Deftones / Adrenaline / Fireal

I want to be much than more

“How easy it is in our life, to miss what’s being offered.” — Paul Haller

The first CD of the first (and best, imho) Buddha Bar.

Specifically What Will Be.

A very beautiful part of Rimsky-Korsakov’s first opera “Ivan the Terrible”.

2001

Thievery Corporation / The Richest Man in Babylon / The Richest Man in Babylon

Some great memories associated with this album.

Keith Jarrett – Solo Concerts Bremen, July 12, 1973 – Part 2

Norah Jones, Bill Withers, Kirk Franklin… other R&B and “old soul”

Freya :P

It’s been unusually quiet around my place for the last few days, the girls downstairs must have blown their speakers haha

Works for me though, I’m currently listening to nothing but the occasional truck driving past (I can’t really hear the cars) the breeze, a few birds, the odd plane and an occasional burst of laughter from the houses over the back fence.

“How easy it is in our life, to miss what’s being offered.” — Paul Haller

Silence again :)

Focus

Thievery Corporation – The Mirror Conspiracy

A DFRNT Dubstep Mix from September 2008. Beautiful THROBBING, droning bass lines that are seriously giving me chills on this otherwise hot summers day.

Bob Marley, Try Me
