  I do hope people check out all of the music threads for their music pleasure(: There are so many tunes! I’m quite partial to all of the music sites. It has gotten me back to a special place, of making time for what was once of my favorite past times, listening to wonderful music-all types from all different times.

Though due to our very varied backgrounds, time-cultures, and different homelands all over the place-this experience has really been powerful beyond my imagination! When any of us, start a thread, we don’t know what will become of it; though I love the contributions of so many when it came to music! Listening to everyone’s favorites and discussing them, and the locating and listening to my own meaningful tunes, has been a very special experience for me. It was difficult w/some of the categories because music can overlap into more than 1 category. So, it’s not perfect, but it’s fun! Bmindful Music Threads -Check ‘em all out!!

I wanted to know more about them…because it’s quite new to me…

• Libera is a boys vocal group organized by music director Robert Prizeman, drawn from schools in South London. Since the age range of the members is seven to 14, the personnel changes over time.
• The group has performed background vocals for such international stars as Björk, Elton John, and Luciano Pavarotti, and been heard on the soundtracks to such films as Hannibal and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.
• Their first album, Libera, was released on Erato in October 1999 (February 2000 in the U.S.) and reached number five in the Billboard classical chart. Luminosa followed on Elektra/Asylum in September 2001 (October 2001 in the U.S.) and reached number ten. The group signed to EMI Classics, which issued their third album, Free, in October 2004. Visions followed in November 2005. Angel Voices, a compilation released in October 2006, reached number six. They are a lovely group of lads with such beautiful voices ,it makes their singing so special knowing their voices will break one day – reminds me to cherish the now .

Hello there fg.I always loved listening to Cat Stevens when the mood striked me in mix of music…especially in jr. high & high school and off to college days. ….I had read a review of Jeff’s music few years ago, and his voice was compared to Cat Stevens.
