Hello to all you wonderfully positive and spiritual beings. Gratitude is such a wonderful tool for tapping into the universe with all its possibilities and abundance. An attitude for gratitude is the key to happiness in life, I believe. How can you expect the universe to give if you do not acknowledge or appreciate what has been given already? Being grateful means acknowledging a power greater than yourself, and the rewards in effect are great abundance. Positivity attracts positivity, abundance (or simple belief and gratitude for your abundance at present) attracts more abundance. Give with an open heart and recieve gratitude in return….its all relative!
I am grateful for this website. Please come in and share with me!

Gratitude: The warmth I seek on a dreary day.
The voice I hear when I am lonely.
The nourishment I seen when I am hungry.
The boost I need when I’m spiritually down.
The friends I have on bMindful.
Today, I am grateful for feeling good about every aspect of my body-mind-spirit and everyone/everything I come into contact with.
Blessings,
Bruce-

Wow! I am awed by your thoughts this morning. Gratitude is definitely better than “Badititude”!! Sometimes when I am in pity mode, I have to go for the basics, such as being grateful that I am alive. I have breath, sight, hearing, touch, etc. For, if they were taken away from me, then I would experience great loss. This gift I have – this new beginning each day – I am eternally grateful for. Each step forward I take, however little or big…
I am such a lucky person. I am a trust-fund child of the universe. So much has been bestowed upon me. Good friends, good family, good life!!
I am living in many dimensions at once; the appearance of being trapped in time and space is only an illusion.

The basics are wonderful and real. If you’ve ever had a tear or a complete avalanche in those areas, you already know- to have the basics is truly abundant living.
Though, as I say that, who knows, maybe that’s part of my problem; I could be so grateful for the basics I may be blocking the financial and career riches I want in my life. I don’t know. Something to include in my written affirmations…
I’m grateful that I have the ability to snap myself out of complacency and pay attention from time to time to the good in my life that so often goes un-noticed: a flower, that I’m healthy, that I have a bed and running water, electricity and shelter. What a paradise so many of us live in! I can’t help but think of Bernie Madoff, how empty his life must be. I can’t help but think of Mother Theresa and how full her life must have been. Who had a richer life than Ghandi? How rich are we that we have such a wonderful place as bemindful to come and express ourselves, and share, and learn, and grow, and encourage, and get encouragement! I am grateful for my awe at the wonder of nature. I am grateful to God for giving me a mind. I am grateful that I can remind myself in times of pain or sorrow that this is part of what makes me who I am. I am grateful for the immense joy I feel when I see a laughing child. I am grateful to have had a mom and dad. I am grateful for so many wonderous works of man; I think of DaVinci, Van Gogh, Tolkien, Mozart, Beethoven, Stravinsky, and on and on. I am grateful that men like Jesus and Newton, and Washington, and Adams, and Jefferson, and Madison, and Lincoln, and Copernicus, and on and on have walked this earth and made it a better place. I am grateful right now for taking the time to think just this tiny handful of things I am grateful for…

I wholeheartedly agree about the power of gratitude. It is a sure cure for those times we need a boost. It’s a great bed time bed warmer and an energizing start to each day.

Today I am grateful for the abundance that I am magnetised towards. I am grateful for being full of love and able to give as much as I recieve. I am continously grateful for my health especially my new found mental health that is far more grounded and relaxed. I am grateful that I am free from anxiety and fear. I am no longer a slave to my ‘head mess’ – I love the thoughts in my head as they are full of warmth and gratitude. I am grateful to all the people writing on this thread, for helping me refocus my day and bring positivity into my heart. As my attitude and behaviour change I am living in the solutions of my being and not the problems. Life is truly full of abundance and I am gratefully attracting it…..;o)

Hello bMindful’ers… :) I feel like I have been out of the loop for far too long. However, tonight is such a beautiful and perfect night that I would love to share my gratitude.
I took a long walk around the lake with my granddaughter…this is the same walk I made with my two oldest children when I used to live in this neighborhood. My senses were particularly alive and active. I could smell the beautiful Phoenix air and a slight breeze caressed my face. The closer I got to the lake, I could feel the temperature drop to a more comfortable level. I lost track of time and felt like I had stepped back into a time machine with my own (now 21 year old) daughter as I pushed the stroller. There was a raven and a dove in the palm tree above my head and their music was so soothing. It made me fall in love with this community all over again.
I began to experience this immense gratitude that I was allowed to experience such tranquility and peace and private time with a grand daughter that I get to spend so precious little time with.
I am also grateful that my son, who is now a grown man of 18 has chosen to come back to Kansas with me for his summer before college instead o spending it with his friends here in Arizona. This will give me much needed quality time before he really grows up and away from me.
My life seems so complete and wonderful.
I am living in many dimensions at once; the appearance of being trapped in time and space is only an illusion.

I have too been out of the loop somewhat and came back to check on you two lovely ladies – (AND everyone else) and got warm fuzzy feelings as you had picked up my thread again!
It is exactly what I needed: encouragement from my own words and that of others. Knowing that gratitude must be the forfront of my day – ‘I start each day with an attitude for gratitude’….it was a great reminder.
I have been a little disheartened, a little ‘less than’ and all the things I know I mustnt focus on. I have needed some space and time to gather my thoughts and let divine guidance lead me in the right direction with my career dilemmas, my abundance stagnation and my lack of focus….and guess what…i found it! Its right here!
So here goes,
I am grateful to both of you for picking up this thread and helping me reassess my situation. I am grateful for where I am and where I am going. I trust in the divine process to bring me to the surface and keep me bouyant with the love and goodness that is in my heart. I am grateful for my talents and gifts that allow me to be in this ‘fork in the road’ – it allows me to ‘draw opportunites towards me’ – so much so, I dont know which one to take!!!!
I am so grateful to the abundant blessings I feel and am able to give daily as I pray for each and every being who wrongs me to break the cycle of negativity….and thus, spread the love!
Dont let me dissapear again ladies! I’ve missed you guys!
Thanks!
Love and blessings to all of you here on this wonderful sharing site.
Onwards and upwards!

Thanks for bringing this thread back Laurie. I think this was my first contribution here on bmindful. Its great to re-read about where I was in relation to where I am at now.
Yes, Gratitude is where its at – always. It needs to focus highly in my day and I am grateful to be reminded of it!

I like the idea of being a “trustfund baby of the universe” I can really visualize that… I am learning to have an attitude of gratitude…. it leads to joy and happiness which leads to greater prosperity… and when I verbalize this gratitude to others it builds them up too….

Seems silly that we should have to be reminded to be grateful and yet… Feeling and expressing gratitude is a wonderful elixur which lifts your spirits and reaffirms that yes, we have been, are and will continue to be blessed. We receive what we ask for as well as what we need (that we didn’t realize) I am grateful for the life I have been given while I anticipate the abundance to come. Jan

Oh, this is such a great thread!
Thank you AAA for finding this!!
Smart Routines, Jeff, I loved your reply, and read it the second time I read this with my heart…
What you said, regarding Mother Teresa and Ghandi is so worthy, I am absolutely embracing this truth… and I will never forget this!
Today, I will cherish all of the sacredness in and around me, and in others…
Today, my heart is pure and exuberantly healthy… and GLAD!!!
