★Music Challenge - Lists of Really Good Songs

Create a post that lists 200 really good songs.

You don’t have to do it all at once. Just edit your list from time to time when the mood strikes you. Two hundred is just an arbitrary number – the idea is to make a great list for yourself and others to use to find wonderful songs. I’m using the following format, but you do yours however you want.

Artist – Song Title

I’m gonna go with First name first. I’m also gonna include The, The Eagles, for example. Not Eagle, the

You do yours however you want. You could even break it down into genres or “feel” or whatever. Happy Songs, Sad Songs, Workout Songs…

Then sort alphabetically as you add stuff. It will be easy to update and keep organized.

I know, I know… it’s another music thread. So what. This thread could wind up being eight miles long.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

49 Temptations

I love early Temptations.

One of my highlights of fun... was when I moved to the area I now live many years ago... on my 35th birthday -The Temptations were playing for FREE... at a local place known for 1 of the largest Flea markets, circus and awesome musical entertainment. Did I say free? I got one of the original Temptations autographs ...Melvin Franklin...(with a Happy Birthday note), f4d393aa4fde121f9b580831e134f001.jpgDavid Melvin English better known by the stage name Melvin Franklin, or his nickname "Blue", was an American bass singer. Franklin was best known for his role as a founding member of Motown singing group The Temptations from 1960 to 1994

RIP Melvin.

“Dreams don’t work unless you do”

Heya bp4ls, no worries, I’m still learning to remember it. Say you want to make a link for Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, you put the song title in brackets “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and then place a colon after the second brackets, no space. Then you place the song link after the brackets.
e.g Ain’t No Mountain High Enough(in brackets):chosen youtube link. Hope this helps :)

Can anyone help please ? I love listening to all my songs on here but have to click on them one at a time

Can anyone tell me in very simple terms how I can make them play one after another on pc please if it is possible to do

thanks ,love flowergirl

I don’t think you can do that from within bmindful. You could create a playlist on youtube though and have it play in a different window. Other options too. You could install Spotify and create a playlist of the exact songs you want. The free version has commercials, but not enough to bug you. OR you could have a media player running in the background while you piddle around on the net. Aimp has a good light weight media player. OR you could get a music manager like Media Monkey or Jaangle and create playlists from the music files you already have on your computer. There are lots of free tools now that will allow you to download files from youtube, some will even let you download just the audio from a video which makes for a much smaller file. Look for stuff like youtube downloader and read some reviews of different options. Winamp is another popular media player. Am I making sense, FG? HD could have you up and running in no time flat. Don’t forget Pandora and Grooveshark too, and there are several other personal radio type stations. I have come to really love Spotify though ‘cause I can create gynormous playlists of individual songs and entire albums all of my choosing. I’d bet dollars to dimes there are a few youtube videos that will explain how to make playlists for various programs and such. Keep in mind that Spotify and Pandora and programs/sites like that are streaming stuff to you which is going to eat into your bandwidth – your connection speed will determine if that is practical. A music manager that is reading files directly from your hard drive isn’t going to have that potential problem.

Long and short of it. Get Spotify now. Set it up and get it going now. You’ll love it. THEN surf around a bit and look deeper into other options if you feel like it.

In response to Smart_Routines_With_Enthusiasm’s post:

thank you so much Cookieman ,I did get a bit lost ! As our broadband is not a high/fast one I don’t want to download too much ,especially as I don’t need to add more music ,it is mainly all these here .Will have a look into signing up on youtube and creating a playlist.

I don’t know how to do it but this pc can put music onto cds so will also look into that.

Thanks again ,love flowergirl

Ah! CD’s! Very reliable and practical. A cd can hold a couple hundred mp3’s.

Did you look at Spotify? Music on spotify should, I am guessing, stream much faster than a youtube video for you. Here is a little overview I found on youtube
