While my credentials label me as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Hypnotherapist, I think of myself more as a magician. I help others to see, connect with, and create magic in their lives. I want to help people return to the place where they can live in wonderment, where they know how to play, and where instead of aspiring to live in the “know” they aspire to live in the mystery of life and the universe. My psychological bent if you will, is Jungian but nontraditional. I help people explore the relevance of ancient wisdom traditions, indigenous teachings, and the esoteric philosophies and how they can apply this information to their lives today to make miracles happen. Do you remember when you were able to play with wild abandon and entertain yourself for hours on end just by using your imagination and creativity? That my friends is the trip I intend to take you on. Along the way I hope to impart some interesting and useful information but most of all I want us to have FUN! I don’t purport to peddle truth, I’m here to give you ways to think about things. Join our group of explorers of consciousness and learn to reclaim the wonderment and innocence at the core of your being once again. The Magician has come to town and has many wonders to show the most discriminating of seekers!
Laura Kohn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Hypnotherapist in private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She does in person counseling, hypnotherapy, and group workshops around the country. She works with clients in person, over Skype, and by phone. She is also CEO of The Ascendant Empowerment Foundation which seeks to change the paradigm from scarcity and competition, to collaboration and abundance by showing its students the just and proper exercise of power through in person trainings and experiential workshops. Hi! So glad there is a true magician here to escort us into the new paradigm! I work with sacred geometry and crystal energy and would like some insight on how can I get in touch with the magic and elemental energy involved in the ancient megalithic circles in south America, England and Ireland; any pointers?
The creator offered us all tools to get going. To name just a few of the tools in my tool belt, it would start off with the ability to open my heart,mind and certainly spirit to all things, that offer movement and or growth.Creative thinking, positive tweaks here and there, an open mind, and by all means a collective group that,” BLOWS ME AWAY!” Magic as known to many is an illusion that twist the mind to think differently, and to be entertained. It is fun, creative and very inspiring for the mindful. I certainly welcome magic in my daily living to gain hope and trust in what is possible within me and others to just …Pause and take notice! In today’s world we all need play time so LET’S PLAY to get going as we were intended to in the beginning.

Hello Magician! Truly loved your last workshop: Alchemy for Personal Transformation…!! Though must say your next one is creating quite a bit of enthusiasm as well. If I were to say it was about Limiting Beliefs, that would not do your presentation justice! You and all that you share are pwerfully awesome!
Thank you for your kind words. I would say the next workshop is about stepping outside of limiting beliefs so they don’t even come into play. When you are operating from this mode you are creating your reality consciously. The judgments stop, you enter the present moment, and then you choose what reality you wish to create in the now. We get addicted to the stories, the archetypes, and the roles we think we are supposed to play but those scripts have often times been written by others. This is more about waking up and becoming the conscious author of your own story. It’s a different way to think about things, and the more flexible one is in their beliefs the more opportunities they have to create what they desire.
