Copied from Thought For Today
“ Listen In Only when we find the quietness in our own minds can we begin to hear our inner teacher, so that we may receive some in-tuition. Only when we are ready to recognize and value the wisdom that we carry at the core of our being will we turn our attention inwards and ‘listen in’. But it’s been a long time since we truly listened, so a little practice and patience will be needed. Sit down, be quiet and listen in at some point today and you might be surprised at what you hear. Then do it again tomorrow. All you need to do is remember that you are the listener and not the noise “

I LOVED those posts, FG! I don’t think I’ve ever heard English Country Garden before, if I have I don’t remember it. I love that I got to hear it and I LOVE the muppets too, so that was a double whammy of goodness as far as I’m concerned. The Yanni piece was beautiful too.
[replace pics-reminder]
I’m gonna stick my big nose in here on your thread and post some songs. Speaking of noses, I want to describe my nose to you, lol. I have a Bob Hope nose. If you ever see a pic of Bob Hope, just look at his nose. That’s my nose! I can’t tell you how many times in my life someone has said to me, you have Bob Hopes nose. And a nose by any other name would smell as sweet. Anyway, here are some flowers for your garden.
Mornin
Breakin Away
The Rose
Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses
Wine Colored Roses
Run for the Roses
Stop and Smell the Roses
Cracklin Rosie
Edelweiss
I’m glad you made me think of Edelweiss. Many moons ago I went on the “Sound of Music” tour and we went to many of the locations where they filmed that movie.
Where Have All the Flowers Gone
(That one is really a little to sad for our garden though.)
Days of Wine and Roses
That is beautiful.
Orange Blossom Special
Flowers On the Wall
Spanish Rose
My Wild Irish Rose
The Rain, The Park and Other Things
Kiss from a Rose
Wildwood Flower
Of course, we can’t forget the OTHER Wildwood Flower My brother, Joe, started me off playing guitar. He used to sing that song all the time. It was soooooo funny!
Plant Your Fields is a BEEEAUTIFUL song!
I forgot about Tom Petty
and Neil Young
NEW DISCOVERY – Nice! Where the Wild Roses Grow
I think I’ll jazz it out with Ahmad Jamal
Gardenia
A Good Year for the Roses
Mother Nature’s Son
It’s not very often that I like a remake better, but I LOVE John Denver’s version of Mother Natures Song

“I want to be a healer, and love all things that grow and are not barren. -Eowyn”
― J.R.R. Tolkien
————————————————————————————————————-
“Those were the broad days! Time was when I could walk and sing all day and hear no more than the echo of my own voice in the hollow hills. The woods were like the woods of Lothlórien, only thicker, stronger, younger. And the smell of the air! I used to spend a week just breathing.”
Treebeard fell silent, striding along, and yet making hardly a sound with his great feet. Then he began to hum again, and passed into a murmuring chant. Gradually the hobbits became aware that he was chanting to them:
In the willow-meads of Tasarinan I walked in the Spring.
Ah! the sight and the smell of the Spring in Nan-tasarion!
And i said that was good.
I wandered in Summer in the elm-woods of Ossiriand.
Ah! the light and the music in the Summer by the Seven Rivers of Ossir!
And i thought that was best.
To the beeches of Neldoreth I came in the Autumn.
Ah! the gold and the red and the sighing of leaves in the Autumn in
Taur-na-neldor!
It was mor than my desire.
To the pine-trees upon the highland of Dorthonion I climbed in the Winter.
Ah! the wind and the whiteness and the black braches of Winter upon
Orod-na-Thô n!
My voice went up and sang in the sky.
And now all those lands lie under the wave,
And I walk in Ambaró na, in Tauremorna, in Aldaló më.
In my own land, in the country of Fangorn,
Where the roots are long.
And the years lie thicker than the leaves
In Taremornaló më.

Stonehenge
Autumn is one of natures most beautiful gifts ,the colours of the leaves as they turn from green through a palette of yellow, orange, red, gold and brown is amazing every year .
The harvest is in ,safely stored and we have cosy evenings to look forwards to .
The feeling of walking through the woods all wrapped up in bright scarves and gloves ,then coming home to a hot drink and a cosy chair is one of total contentment .
There are misty mornings and frosty evenings to enjoy when nature changes our veiws that we see each day .In the mist our weeping willow tree looks so enchanted you can picture fairies running around underneath it ,then in the white coat of frost at night in the moonlight you can almost hear the stars twinkling and the tree looks like it has diamonds all over it .

Blessing Space Between Us
May the presence and power of spirit surround, support and guide us and keep us safe.
May we remember the deep love we have for each other.
May we greet our emerging differences with tenderness and tolerance.
May we call on our courage to speak our truth, and reveal our vulnerabilities.
May we reflect back to others without blaming or shaming.
May we hear the truth others speak with compassion.
May we have patience with their process and emergence.
May we pause, breathe, and let ourselves settle.
May we stand in love and strength together.
May our rough edges be doorways to healing. – Bette Acuff

If You Would Grow – Shine The Light Of Loving Self-Care On Yourself
If you would grow to your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing and punishing
For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is as tough as war yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies but we open fully only to warmth and light
And our need to grow is as fragile as a fragrance Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still
So, accept, respect, attend your sensitivity
A flower cannot be opened with a hammer.

thought for today
I just recieved this post from“thought for today “ and want to share it
Open Heart
The heart is like a flower – unless it is open it cannot release its fragrance into the world. The fragrance of the heart is made up of the qualities and virtues of our spirit. Most of us have learned how to keep our heart closed in a world that would trample all over us if we let it. Being open hearted today seems to require tremendous courage. It is a courage which comes only when we realise that no one can hurt us, no matter what they say or do. They may hurt our body, but if we have realised we are spirit, nothing outside can touch us, if we so decide. Little by little, practice opening your heart to those you think have hurt you. Realise it wasn’t them that hurt you, it was yourself. And it taught you not to trust and you closed your heart. A closed heart is in need of opening. And when you do, you will have begun to heal yourself

Original Peace
It is not necessary to search for peace. It is within. Your original state is one of peace. Learn to be in charge of yourself and maintain your peace: centre your awareness on your spiritual form – a tiny star-like point of light, seated in the middle of your forehead. Really experience the difference between You the Sparkling Star, and your body, the physical vehicle. Learn to detach yourself from the vehicle. Even a few moments of this practice, if done regularly, will return you to your natural state of peace. And your actions will be filled with love – for the self and others

one that sees the divine manifest in all creation.

its plants and creatures our partners and teachers.
We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God,

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love
the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now, and perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.

QUOTE by Virginia Satir (American Psychologist and Educator, 1916-1988) “I am Me. In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it — I own everything about me: my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing,I can love me and be friendly with all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know — but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and ways to find out more about me…..However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought, and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I am me, and I am Okay.”

I have a misty idea floating around my head , I would like to earn my living working from home and have this idea that keeps surfacing – to create 1)an on line circle 2)write books 3)blog 4)website 5)meet up groups
all about women entering their queen/crone stage of life and from my own experience how physically, mentally and spiritually we seem enter into a new stage of our lives .All those hippies who had dreams and plans that maybe got pushed down throughout the years but are still there ,all the women who have followed one path and feel the pull towards their own inner guidance .Women like me who have gone through a long, dark night of the soul and who I can hold out a hand to and say “ I understand”.Women who have so much wisdom ,love and knowledge that they can share with each other .
This is something I’m going to meditate on ,journal and start
“Carpe diem. Seize the day.” ― John Keats I think that might be my word/s for this year
For the present while I’m creating this I will see if we can manage on what money is coming in by being as careful as possible ,if not get any job I can do ,use affirmations a lot more ,focus on self care and growth and make my dreams a reality .
All this will work perfectly when my daughter and I open our healing center .( our dream)
My expression for projects like this “it is a patchwork quilt “ made up with time and love by adding lots of pieces together.I’m going to knit or crochet a square every day to remind me of this and then make blankets/quilts
“Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.” ― Anthony Robbins
“This moment is yours and yours alone! Take charge, seize this moment and allow it to propel you to the high levels of an empowered life. Allow upon this fertile moment to be planted the seeds of your happiness and success.” ― Steve Maraboli
I am going to use the time I spend on pc which I realised is because I enjoy the support and communication and turn it into a suport structure for women like myself ,instead of telling myself I’m lazy etc
Yesterday was one of those days where everything is a huge effort ,even getting dressed.I was weepy ,despondant and could not get myself motivated . I think I was preparing to release these thoughts and ideas ,a bit like a mental labour and giving birth.
My daughter made a very wise comment when I asked her why I couldn’t even do the things I want to like the 2012/2013 workbook “ it is because you have not got a space to do it in “ ,my desk is cluttered and I like a clear space for writing, creating ,collages etc It frazzles the mind if there is stuff everywhere
Today I feel so hopeful and positive and think the goddess inside is answering my questions
“How can I do this when I don’t have a clue what I’m doing on pc ?”
“go to a class to learn or maybe by going out more you will meet someone who does know how to do all this – be open to help”
“what if someone else has the same idea”
“ there is space for everyone and so many women out there searching “
I have always been fearfull of having my own business but if this grew from a passion into a passionate business I would be delighted. If it doesn’t I will have a wonderful hobby that I share .
So it is time to carpe diem beginning with a pile of washing I ignored yesterday ,then starting the blog
I think I have found my passion

Thank you Selfcare for these affirmations
I notice each little improvement in my life.
I acknowledge my progress and celebrate it daily.
I easily progress from one undertaking to the next.
I move forward without hesitation.
I find something to celebrate every day.
I always make choices that benefit my cause.
I focus on my dream, and eagerly take the next step to bringing it into reality.
It feels great to be putting my life in order.
I can see light at the end of the tunnel now.
No matter where I am, I am always looking forward.
I encourage and praise myself even when things don’t turn out as I planned.
I congratulate myself every day for the great progress I am making.
I congratulate myself for all the good in my life because I know that I co-created it

John Denver’s version of Mother Nature’s Son
Born a poor young country boy, Mother Nature’s son
All day long I’m sitting singing songs for everyone
Sit beside a mountain stream, see her waters rise
Listen to the pretty sound of music as she flies
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo
Find me in my field of grass, Mother Nature’s son
Swaying daises sing a lazy song beneath the sun
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo
Yeah yeah yeah
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm
Mm mm mm, ooh ooh ooh
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm

Plant Your Fields by New Grass Revival.
My father said, some things you learn
By only doin’ when it comes your turn
Everything comes around so be ready if you can
Prepare your heart like the farmer turns his land
And you plant your fields when the spring is tender
When the summer beats down, you pray for rain
You hope for the harvest and the long cold winter
And then you plant your fields again
Well he spoke right to my restless soul
Still wild and hungry and beyond control
For all that you dream there’s a time and a place
But you won’t know it till it comes your way
And you plant your fields when the spring is tender
When the summer beats down, you pray for rain
You hope for the harvest and the long cold winter
And then you plant your fields again
When the spring is tender
When the summer beats down, you pray for rain
You hope for the harvest and the long cold winter
And then you plant your fields again
You plant your fields again
You plant your fields again
You plant your fields again
You plant your fields again

Prayers Of The Woods
I am the heat of your hearth on the cold winter nights, the friendly shade screening you from the summer sun, and my fruits are refreshing draughts quenching your thirst as you journey on.
I am the beam that holds your house, the board of your table, the bed on which you lie, and the timber that builds your boat.
I am the handle of your hoe, the door of your homestead, the wood of your cradle, and the shell of your coffin.
I am the bread of kindness and the flower of beauty. ‘Ye who pass by, listen to my prayer: Harm me not.

“You Learn
After a while you learn the subtle difference
Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning
And company doesn’t mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts
And presents aren’t promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats
With your head up and your eyes open
With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child,
And you learn to build all your roads on today
Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After a while you learn…
That even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So you plant your garden and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure…
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth…
And you learn and learn…
With every good-bye you learn”

Lost
Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you,
If you leave it you may come back again, saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches are the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.

Ostara – spring equinox March 20th
“Spring Equinox celebrates the renewed life of the Earth that comes with the Spring. It is a solar festival, celebrated when the length of the day and the night are equal (this happens twice a year, at Spring and Autumn Equinox”
“Spring is a time from new life, vigour and renewal. A time to shake off the starkness of the winter, to celebrate it’s survival and to welcome and prepare for the bounty of harvests. The Pagan tradition was to rid their homes of any negative energy harboured from the long hard winter by scrubbing and cleaning in a clockwise motion. This action filled the home with positive energy and vigour. Many observe it today with no real knowledge of it’s origin, just a need to replace shut in stagnant air with fresh, clean air full of vitality”
This is a wonderful time of the year .Spring feels like a new start .This week I will be spring cleaning and filling our home with fresh flowers .

That was beautiful, enlightening & calming.
I also liked what it said below the video:
Everyone is a Lightworker whether they know it at all. Just as truth is truth whether anyone knows it or not. The real question arises then, “Am I aware of who I am?” Behind all labels, behind all self created illusions of mind and ego, or social dogmas and masks, there lies the truth, the answer to that question. Just as the Sun shines bright both day and night, it is only the movement of the planet and clouds that obscure it from view. But the sun is always shining. A Lightworker is awake to this truth, aware of their true presence and living in accordance with the divine plan. All beings that exist are a channel between eternal, formless heaven and the temporary world of form and illusion, earth. Why am I here? One does not always need to consciously realize the answer to this question, but living your life purpose is achievable in every moment, right now. Sit in peaceful contemplation, in pure awareness. Allow yourself to be present in every moment and feel within the depths of your heart for your inner truth, your guidance. The work is easy and the burden is light. Your true essence of being is so vast, it is beyond any concept, any word, thought or form. A Lightworker then is any being, who is aware of their true non-dual nature, their eternal “I Am” Presence and acting in accordance with it. A Lightworker is active in enlightenment, or in cultivating enlightenment.
Thank you flowergirl for your friendship, your presence and your gentle teachings you’ve shared. Thanks for not fearing to share your growth…your pleasant times as well as your tough times…because all of where you’ve been is part of your experience…that connects with the experience of others.

“It is time to get started. It is time to wake up. Don’t wait another minute. Claim your heart, and claim your glory. You have all you need. Bless other women. Do not tear them down. Remember they are you–your sisters, teachers, mothers, daughters. And then look on men with the eyes the Goddess gives you, and hold on. The new world will seem like nothing you have seen before. It will be reborn like you. It will shine like you. It will smile like you. It will feel like home…”
“Spiritual growth is like childbirth. You dilate, then you contract. You dilate, then you contract again. As painful as it all feels, it’s the necessary rhythm for reaching the ultimate goal of total openness. The pain of childbirth is more bearable as we realize where it’s leading.”
“Giving birth to our selves, our new selves, our real selves, whether we are men or women, is a lot like giving birth to a child. It’s an idea that is conceived, then incubates. Childbirth is difficult, but holding the child makes the pain worthwhile. And so it is when we finally have a glimpse of our own completion as human beings–regardless of our husband or lack of one, our money or lack of it, our children or lack of any, or whatever else we think we need in order to thrive and be happy.”
“When we finally have touched on a spiritual high that is real and enduring, then we know that the pain of getting there was worth it, and the years ahead will never be as lonely.”

When many people have this heart connection, then we will know that we are all one, we human beings all over the planet. We will be one. One love. And don’t leave out the animals, and trees, and clouds, and galaxies – it’s all one. It’s one energy. It comes through in individual ways, but it’s one energy.
You can call it energy, or you can call it love. I like to look at a tree and see that it’s love. Don’t you?”

Age Gracefully
There is nothing more inevitable than the greying of hair and the crinkling of skin. Resisting it is like trying to hold back the tide of the ocean. Accepting it is the way into a graceful life and the possibility of true Leisure! Our lives are mostly without leisure as we succumb to the marketing men and their determination to convince us that the tide can be beaten back, at the very least, kept at bay. As a consequence we count the greys and measure the length and depth of the wrinkles. We spend our time and attention on the surface of our forms, and create the habits of anxiety and worry as they inevitably deteriorate. But when we truly know ourselves as spirit within the form, all those subtle tensions are dissolved. We never age, never grow old, never die – only our bodies do. Knowing ourselves as we truly are is the doorway to freedom and to the graceful acceptance that we are destined to inhabit and play many roles in many bodies. Is that not both a liberating and a relaxing insight? If you play with it, explore it for truth, meditate on it, seriously give it ‘house room’ in your head, you may actually experience yourself as a free spirit. And when you do you will know true relaxation.

“ Peaceful Living Treatment “ Written by Louise L. Hay
“ I am one with Life, and all of Life loves and supports me.
Therefore, I claim for myself love and acceptance on all levels. I
accept all of my emotions and can express them appropriately when
the occasion arises. I’ve learned to observe rather than
react, and now life is much less tumultuous. I am my own unique self,
and I no longer choose to sweat the small stuff. I have peace of
mind. This is the truth of my being, and I accept it as so. All is
well in my inner being. “

In order to protect ourselves from taking on any negative energy from other people or situations; we can learn to shield.
There are times when you may find that being around certain individuals or groups of people leaves you with feelings of discomfort. It may be that spending time with a particular friend feels draining or that dealing with a specific coworker exhausts you. Being around toxic or angry people is also draining. And you may even find that being surrounded by a crowd of people lowers your energy levels rather than perks you up. This is not that unusual. Each of us radiates energy and is capable of being influenced by the energy of other people. It is important to learn how to shield yourself, so you don’t unknowingly take on someone else’s energy. While some people know how to instinctively protect themselves from being adversely affected by energy, most of us need to discover and practice the technique that works best.
There are a number of ways to avoid being affected by people’s energy. Shielding is one preventative technique you can use. Center yourself and envision being enveloped in a cocoon of loving and protective light. This protective layer should allow you to consciously regulate the energy around you. The intent to shield oneself is all you need for this technique to work. You can even create a trigger word to assist you in quickly creating a shield. Say this word each time you create a new shield, until the word and the shield become automatically associated in your mind. If you run into a person whose energy you find draining, you may want to cleanse your own energy field after your encounter. Sage, cold showers, singing, mineral water baths, spending time in nature, and a simple break to recharge are all ways to accomplish this.
While it is important to know how to shield yourself from energy, there are those energies that you may not want to shut out. The energy of laughter from a newborn baby, the feeling of joy radiating from someone in love, and the frequency of calm emanating from an enlightened teacher are just some of the energies coming from others that you may want to have around you

I am a pagan child
I see the wonder in the world
that passes you by
The whispers on the wind,
the applause of the trees
I spin around breathlessly
as the sun shines over me
As the moon rises, my energy wanes
I call on the Goddess to bless me
As I float off to my dreams
When the morning comes
In my wide eyes you see
A soul hungry and ready for
what this world can teach me

Power On
Each day we all need to recharge our spiritual battery, otherwise the light of our consciousness becomes dim, thoughts become fuzzy, and decisions are impregnated with doubt. Power is available inside and outside. Inside us we have a spiritual centre, at the core of our consciousness, pure radiant spiritual light. This is what we are. However it is now blocked by our attachments, the record of all our life experiences and many learned beliefs and perceptions. Outside us we have the sun of spirit, the source, invisible to our physical eyes but only one second away when we are able to quieten and focus our mind. Meditation connects us to both sources of power – that’s why meditation is the way to access the real vitamins and the minerals that spirit craves. The vitamin of pure love and the minerals of truth and wisdom. Take time to empower yourself today. Sit quietly and connect your mind to each source and allow yourself to recharge and renew

“I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn’t impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”

And the Great Mother said:
Come, my child, and give me all that you are.
I am not afraid of your strength and darkness, of your fear and pain.
Give me your tears. They will be my rushing rivers and roaring oceans.
Give me your rage. It will erupt into my molten volcanoes and rolling thunder.
Give me your tired spirit. I will lay it to rest in my soft meadows.
Give me your hopes and dreams. I will plant a field of sunflowers and arch rainbows in the sky.
You are not too much …for me. My arms, and heart, welcome your true fullness.
There is room in my world for all of you, all that you are.
I will cradle you in the boughs of my ancient redwoods, and the valleys of my gentle rolling hills.
My soft winds will sing you lullabies, and soothe your burdened heart.
Release your deep pain.
You are not alone, and you have never been alone.

The Wild Goddess must be free.
A healthy woman is much like a wolf, strong life force, life-giving, territorially aware, intuitive and loyal.
Yet separation from her wildish nature causes a woman to become meager, anxious, and fearful.
The wild nature carries the medicine for all things.
She carries stories, dreams, words and songs.
She carries everything a woman needs to be and know.
She is the essence of the female soul…
With the wild nature as ally and teacher, we see not through two eyes only, but through the many eyes of intuition.
With intuition we are like the starry night, we gaze at the world through a thousand eyes.

“Dare to Be
When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.
When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.
When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.
When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.
When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.
When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.
When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.
When times are tough, dare to be tougher.
When love hurts you, dare to love again.
When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.
When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.
When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.
When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.
When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.
When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.
Dare to be the best you can –
At all times, Dare to be!”

Imagine a woman who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women. Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.
Imagine yourself as this woman.
Imagine a woman who turns toward herself with interest and attention. A woman who turns inward to listen, remember, and replenish. Who breathes deeply as a prayer of gratitude for life itself. Imagine yourself as this woman.
Imagine a woman who remains faithful to herself through all the seasons of life. A woman who preserves allegiance to herself even in the face of opposition. Whose capacity to sustain interest in others deepens as she is loyal to herself.
Imagine yourself as this woman.
Imagine a woman whose vow is her north star, her guiding light, the faithful breath she returns to in every season and situation of her life.
Imagine yourself as this woman

“Follow your bliss.
If you do follow your bliss,
you put yourself on a kind of track
that has been there all the while waiting for you,
and the life you ought to be living
is the one you are living.
When you can see that,
you begin to meet people
who are in the field of your bliss,
and they open the doors to you.
I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid,
and doors will open
where you didn’t know they were going to be.
If you follow your bliss,
doors will open for you that wouldn’t have opened for anyone else.”

A Quick Guide to Meaning of Numbers
Spiritual Meaning of Number One One: One primarily deals with strong will, positivity, pure energy. The number One reflects new beginnings, and purity. The symbolic meaning of number One is further clarified when we understand One represents both kinds of action: physical and mental. This combined with Ones urgency for new beginnings, we begin to see Ones recurring in our lives indicates a time to exert our natural forces, take action, and start a new venture. One encourages us our action will be rewarded in kind.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Two Two: The symbolic meaning of number Two is kindness, balance, tact, equalization, and duality. The number Two reflects a quiet power of judgment, and the need for planning. Two beckons us to choose. The spiritual meaning of number Two also deals with exchanges made with others, partnerships (both in harmony and rivalry), and communication. Two urges us out of our indecision, calls us to unite with like-minds, and like-ideals. Two asks us to exert our natural flow of judgment to do what is best for our souls.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Three Three: The spiritual meaning of number Three deals with magic, intuition, fecundity, and advantage. The number Three invokes expression, versatility, and pure joy of creativity. Three is also a time identifier as it represents Past, Present and Future. Consecutive Threes in your life may symbolize the need to express yourself creatively, or consider your present directional path in relation to past events and future goals. Three may also represent promising new adventures, and assurance of cooperation from others whom you may require help. Three typically symbolizes reward and success in most undertakings.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Four Four: The symbolic meaning of number Four deals with stability and invokes the grounded nature of all things. Consider the four seasons, four directions, four elements all these amazingly powerful essences wrapped up in the nice square package of Four. Fours represent solidity, calmness, and home. A recurrence of Four in your life may signify the need to get back to your roots, center yourself, or even “plant” yourself. Fours also indicate a need for persistence and endurance.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Five Five: The spiritual meaning of number Five deals with travel, adventure, and motion. With the highs that come with these attributes, Fives also carry instability and unpredictability, and radical changes. The spiritual meaning of Five draws our attention to the wonder of life, and beckons us to appreciate the perception of chaos all around us. Five has wild vibrations: primitive and erratic. When Five continues to pop up in your life be prepared for some action, like a trip. Remember, trips aren’t all necessarily taken physically. Some of the best journey’s are taken in the mind and spirit.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Six Six: The symbolism behind number Six is legend. With Venus as its ruler, Six represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth. Six naturally reveals solutions for us in a calm, unfolding manner. We invoke the Six when we need delicate diplomacy when dealing with sensitive matters. The spiritual meaning of number Six also deals with enlightenment; specifically “lighting” our path in areas we require spiritual and mental balance. Sixes beckon us to administer compassion and consciously choose forgiveness in a situation.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Seven Seven:Sevens, like Threes, deal with magical forces. Sevens deal with esoteric, scholarly aspects of magic. Representative of scholarly activities, mystery, and the focused search for esoteric meanings. Seven deals with the activation of imagination and manifesting results in our lives through the use of conscious thought and awareness. Ruled by Saturn, Seven can represent impractical dreaming, but with a deeper understanding of the aspects of Seven, you can quite deftly utilize its magical vibration to your own benefit.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Eight Eight: The symbolism backing number Eight deals largely with business, success, and wealth. This is due to the fact that Eight represents continuation, repetition, and cycles. Such elements are seen in arenas where success is obtained simply because of dogged determination and repetition. Also, matters of business and wealth largely depend on cycles to fulfill their manifestation. It’s like the snowball analogy: As it continues to roll, in gets bigger and bigger with each revolution. Eight represents that kind of momentum.
Spiritual Meaning of Number Nine Nine: The spiritual meaning of number Nine bring us to the very height of vibrational frequencies in this number sequence. Nine represents attainment, satisfaction, accomplishment, and our success to achieve an influence in our circumstances. The spiritual meaning of number Nine deals with intellectual power, inventiveness, influence over situations and things. Nine beseeches us to recognize our own internal attributes, and extend these abilities out into the world to make a positive, influential difference.

Awakening the Sacred Feminine
August 27, 2012 at 6:24pm
Femininity is anything but weakness. It is strength fueled by the omnipotent power of love. In its purest form it is inclusive, focused on the highest good for all. Where masculine energy divides, conquers and controls (not inherently negative actions), the feminine unites, cooperates and supports. Most problems in the world can be traced to masculine energies running unchecked and unbalanced by the feminine.
Birthing the change we wish to see in the world begins with accepting it in our lives first. The starting point is the conscious acknowledgment that feminine is not synonymous with weak, and embracing your feminine nature is not a betrayal of woman’s equality. We are equal, different and equal. Release all negative associations with femininity, it’s a divine gift.
The experience of awakening and embracing your feminine essence is like discovering an ocean of liquid inspiration, serenity and creative power. It feels like the first moments after waking from the most wondrous dream you’ve ever had. This feeling tone becomes your new normal. It is sublimely soothing, rife with deep joy, and wholly empowering. It’s where I find lasting, independent of circumstances, happiness.
We are sacred beings who bear the gift of carrying the creative energy of the Divine into physical form. When we connect with our feminine core, literally the space a little below and behind our navel, we travel the path back to creation. This energetic center is the garden of the goddess, the seat of our intuition, a hotline to our higher self. All you need to know can be discovered here.
This beautiful garden, your sacred space of dreams, creation, inspiration and magnificence is ever present. The sun shining over this paradise is your heart, radiating its wisdom and energy. In this perfect place, all things are possible.
The work of awakening the Goddess within begins with the relocation of your life center–moving away from the hyper-analytic, what you see is what you get, ego-driven mind. It’s a return to your childhood home, your garden beneath the heart-sun.
Nearly every woman can remember a time in childhood when her essence overcame her. Whether it came through a whispering field of flowers, a glob of paint on the tip of a brush, the breath of a puppy, the feeling of dough in your hands, the wind whipping your hair as you raced down a track, or the moving waters of the sea, somewhere in time, something powerfully moved you. In those ineffable moments, logic gave way to fascination, joy, and revelry. You were connected to your Source, your true self, and unique purpose. It wasn’t a random moment of insignificant pleasure.
In her perfect wisdom, our Creator endowed us with a natural attraction to our purpose. We are divinely designed to gravitate to it, much the way mothers of all species are irresistibly drawn to their young. A woman is not crafted with a passion to be a composer, but expected to be an accountant. Our Creator is brilliant, not cruel. You were brought here to deliver the gifts you most adore to this world, in a way that only you can. The most intelligent and loving choice you can make for yourself, and all of creation, is to heed this call.
In another stroke of formidable genius, our Source, formed and infused women with femininity–a plethora of inherent strengths tailored to support and nurture the expression of our purpose. Once revered in ancient civilizations and now commonly dismissed as weak, outmoded and unnecessary, our essential femininity is a power perfectly designed to nurture the gifts, creations and innate talents of every living thing. It gestates our deepest desires, translating energies into manifested outcomes and ensuring their survival in the physical world. No purpose is given without the means to achieve it.
The roadmap to the life you were born to live is within you. Free yourself from the world and follow your heart!

I learned…that inspiration does not come like a bolt, or is it kinetic, energetic striving, but it comes into us lowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness. Brenda Ueland
The secret of attraction is to love yourself. Attractive people judge neither themselves nor others. They are open to gestures of love. They think about love, and express their love in every action. They know that love is not a mere sentiment, but the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe. Deepak Chopra
“ Peaceful Living Treatment “ Written by Louise L. Hay
I am one with Life, and all of Life loves and supports me. Therefore, I claim for myself love and acceptance on all levels. I accept all of my emotions and can express them appropriately when the occasion arises. I’ve learned to observe rather than react, and now life is much less tumultuous. I am my own unique self, and I no longer choose to sweat the small stuff. I have peace of mind. This is the truth of my being, and I accept it as so. All is well in my inner being.

Think Simply
With so many choices and decisions, so many demands from people and events, in our modern fast changing world, it’s a real challenge to ‘keep it simple’. Making it simple means making things easy and clear. The magic wand to wave over your life is ‘planning and prioritising’. Make plans, long and short term and then prioritise. Then practise taking one thing at a time, so you can have one thought at a time, with some space before you have to have your next thought. But don’t get attached to your plans or priorities. Be flexible (easy) and yet focused (clear) and in this way you can teach yourself to think simply and act simply. One thought at a time. At your own pace. In your own space. A simple life is a contented life.

How you have lived the essence of what we are will be different from how I have lived it. You may see it in the consistent thread of desire in your choices to add beauty to the world through art or science, to be kind, to include those who are at times excluded, to work for justice or fairness, to lighten hearts with humor, to care for family or friends.
There are a thousand ways our essential nature can be expressed in the world, infinite ways to hold and love the world. If you look at your life from within that sense of the quiet stillness you are, you will see this inner-essence, this innocence, like a bright thread woven throughout the center of your life. It has always been there because it is what you are, and living it consciously is why you are here.

Let go of the “shoulds” in your life.
Open up to the miracle of now.
Value your uniqueness.
Explore your dreams and passions.
Yield to life – go with the flow.
Obey the voice of your Spirit.
Unwind – get cozy and comfy.
Renew yourself – body and soul.
Surround yourself with caring people.
Express yourself – be true to you.

Look at Love…
how it tangles
with the one fallen in love
look at spirit
how it fuses with earth
giving it new life
why are you so busy
with this or that or good or bad
pay attention to how things blend
why talk about all
the known and the unknown
see how unknown merges into the known
why think separately
of this life and the next
when one is born from the last
look at your heart and tongue
one feels but deaf and dumb
the other speaks in words and signs
look at water and fire
earth and wind
enemies and friends all at once
the wolf and the lamb
the lion and the deer
far away yet together
look at the unity of this
spring and winter
manifested in the equinox
you too must mingle my friends
since the earth and the sky
are mingled just for you and me
be like sugarcane
sweet yet silent
don’t get mixed up with bitter words
my beloved grows
right out of my own heart
how much more union can there be

A Goddess is a woman who shines both inside and out, it is an unmistakable light of power, courage and strength.
A goddess is a woman who is openly and readily grateful for all the abundance of goodness she has in her life. She revels in her self respect, self love and self appreciation. She has a tranquil, slow paced energy about her that is calm, that is love, sensuality and tenderness. It is the light within her that shines to the world. Her light protects and nurtures, it is a blanket of warmth. She has traveled, she has learned and she has discovered who she is. A Goddess is an awakened woman who now embraces her power, she lives each day in her light of authenticity. The Goddess can be found in each and every woman, it’s not something you learn, it’s something you already are. You have to be willing to open your heart, and let the light shine out, and you also have to be willing to let the light shine in. A Goddess is a woman of wisdom, she has lived and she has learned. She rises above and sets herself a part from what others may envision a Goddess to be and what a Goddess “should” look like. She is a positive light in this world. You are drawn to the beauty of who she is, her heart and soul speaks volumes about who she is. Embrace the gentle, warm light, for this light lives within each and every woman.

I am the tree…
I am the tree… there is no name for me … I am just the tree!
My ways are ancient … symbolic of the connections between earth and sky.
My roots grow deep into the soil; soil that is all that remains of my ancestors.
It is all that remains … of anyone’s ancestors … and I know them all.
For I walk barefoot in the soil; and the soil stores the remnants of every creature’s works.
You are the human … do your roots live among the ancestors … like mine?
Are you as dependent on … or even aware of … the wisdom of the soil or its long-term memory?
I am the tree … it is but a word to me … I am just the tree!
My leaves are held high … eager for the warmth of the sun and a gentle summer rains.
And I cast my shadows across the meadow … shade for those who would tend my roots and branches.
A family of Hawks has nested high in my crown …
That they may teach their young to soar with Grandfather Sky.
And I am honored for the air exchange we leafed beings … share … with those that have lungs.
May our needs remain in balance! May our days be many upon this earth!
I am the tree … no words, just a song for me … I am just the tree!
Listen for the whispers of my song … carried by the wind at your back.
There are many such songs in the forest, a different one for each and every physical thing.
Songs that reveal the secrets hidden in every leaf and rock.
Songs … like reference libraries … that share all secrets, great and small … worth knowing.
It is the universal language all things use to communicate, it is the only true language.
The language of vibrations … songs … still emanating from that very first day!
I am the tree … I am the song … I am the tree!

Yet ultimately we are alone, making our way home by the candle of the heart. Many times our light will go out. But another light, one held by a stranger or a friend, a book or a song, a blackbird or a wildflower, comes close enough so we can see our path by its light. “Here is my wish for you and every other child, woman, and man on the face of the earth: Spend one week saying only kind, caring things to yourself. Say thank you at least ten times an hour, direct five toward yourself and five to the world at large. Compliment yourself (and others) each time an effort is made. Notice all the wonderful qualities and characteristics about yourself and those around you. One week. You will never go back. And your whole life will be a glorious meditation.” Cheri Huber

Imagine yourself now living the life you wish where everything is in place – your love, your work, finance, your relationship with this world, with the people around you, with nature and the Earth. How does that feel? Again, close your eyes and imagine this experience. See it all around you. How does that feel?
Practice this as a daily meditation accessing this feeling of wholeness, of wholeheartedness. For the more you access this feeling, the more you will bring this feeling toward yourself as a daily reality. It is like meditation. The more you meditate, the higher your consciousness becomes and the more permanent your state of deeper connection becomes. This works in the same way. If you are regularly accessing this feeling that your life is fully abundant then you are carrying that energy with you wherever you go. That is the key. ~~Zachary through Lee, from Abundance and ‘Energy Speaks’

A
BLESSING
May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path.
May the flame of anger free you from falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and may anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention.
May you be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.

Your self-identity determines how you treat yourself. When you react unconsciously you are being your ego, and when you respond mindfully you are being your Soul. A Soulful response is effective, appropriate, and authentic, while an ego reaction is mechanical, and always self-serving.

Look deep within the center of your heart and find that tiny pinpoint of brilliantly colored light. It is such a beautiful color. It is the very center of your love and healing energy. Watch as your pinpoint of light begins to pulsate and grow until it fills your heart. Let it move through your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, and through the tips of your fingers. You are absolutely glowing with this beautiful colored light, which is your love and healing energy. Let your body vibrate with this light. You can even say to yourself: With every breath I take, I’m getting healthier and healthier. Feel the light cleansing your body of dis-ease. Let the light radiate from you into your room, into the world and into your special place in the world. See everything whole. You are important. You do count. What you do with the love in your heart does matter. You do make a difference. Affirm: I LET MY WHOLE BEING VIBRATE WITH LIGHT.
I love you,

You’re walking the labyrinth of life. Yes, you’re meant to move forward, but almost never in a straight line. Yes, there’s an element of achievement, of beginning and ending, but those are minor compared to the element of being here now. In the moments you stop trying to conquer the labyrinth of life and simply inhabit it, you’ll realize it was designed to hold you safe as you explore what feels dangerous. You’ll see that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, meandering along a crooked path that is meant to lead you not onward, but inward.

Listen to the Wise One
I knew a wise woman
And she said to me
That the river would mold me
And the wild wind would cool me
The the trickster the coyote
He would fool me
That father sun would warm me
Mother earth would clothe me
Grandmother moon would greet me
And of the old ways she would teach me
Wise woman, she told me
To always walk lightly
Tread the earth ever gently
Lovingly so preciously
And take from her sparingly
She said, to share with others

Be still and breathe, ever patiently
For the web of life

When everything you think you know
changes
what do you do then?
When all that you dreamed you might cause
shifts
what do you dream then?
When who you thought you were
isn’t
how then to re-invent?
When how you believed the world to be
deconstructs
how shall you trust again?
When the ideas of childhood are no longer
whole
how do you re-connect to innocence?
When the instruction manual you have been using
de-materializes
what step-by-step do you follow?
When the life you thought you would have
is out of view
how then shall you claim a new one?
When the paradigm you were living in
no longer makes sense
how do you enter one that matches who you are?
When your heart hurts and the crack is opening
even more
how do you continue to love and to listen?
When the unraveling has begun you must just wait.
Sit in the broken sanctuary of your own heart,
even if the wonder and cries are so loud,
that you cry all day.
Know that you are not alone.
Don’t try to get through it, get it done,
or rush to the next thing or to resolution
or the illusiveness of completion.
Don’t make up new stories to go in the place
of the old ones.
Sit in the discomfort and the spaciousness.
And open yourself to miracles.
Practice the thought that somewhere in your consciousness, you have a memory that knows that healing, is indeed, possible.

On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.
And when your eyes
Freeze behind
The grey window
And the ghost of loss
Gets into you,
May a flock of colours,
Indigo, red, green
And azure blue,
Come to awaken in you
A meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays
In the currach of thought
And a stain of ocean
Blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight
To bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life

She went out on a limb, and it broke off behind her, she was falling to the ground, and then realized she could fly, and she became unstoppable
She let go of everything that was weighing her down. It was time to dust off her wings, and time to mend those wings so she can be free to fly. To soar as high as she wants, with the wind beneath her wings, she wasn’t afraid, and she refused to look back. Higher and higher she could now soar, nothing was stopping her now. She could finally see everything that she needed to see. Her eyes were clear, and the breeze from above only made her want to soar higher, and as she looked down from above she became overwhelmed with joy, she said “for the first time in my life, I am finally flying” This is what freeing herself from the cage that she kept herself in. It was an overwhelming independence to be who she wants to be. For the first time in her life she does not feel the weight on her shoulders. Her wings are easy to move up and down, and side to side, and she said where ever the winds take me I know it’s for my own good. Sometimes you have to fall before you can fly. She will never be grounded again.

“Has this ever happened to you? You are washing your face, and suddenly you do not recognize the woman staring back at you. “Who is this?” you ask the mirror on the wall. No reply. She looks vaguely familiar but bears little resemblance to the woman you were expecting to see there. Psychologists call this phenomenon a “displacement of self,” and it usually occurs during times of great stress (which for many of us is an everyday occurrence).”

What can I say that I have not said before?
So I’ll say it again.
The leaf has a song in it.
Stone is the face of patience.
Inside the river there is an unfinishable story
and you are somewhere in it
and it will never end until all ends.
Take your busy heart to the art museum and the
chamber of commerce
but take it also to the forest.
The song you heard singing in the leaf when you
were a child
is singing still.
I am of years lived, so far, seventy-four,
and the leaf is singing still.” -Mary Oliver

“WHEN YOU AWAKEN IN THE MORNING,LIE IN YOUR BED AND MOVE THROUGH YOUR MIND THIS LIST OF THINGS YOU ARE APPRECIATING,AND THEN GO RIGHT FROM THERE TO BRUSHING YOUR TEETH AND DOING WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO IMMEDIATELY.
AND THEN GO RIGHT TO YOUR CHAIR OF MEDITATION AND BRING YOURSELF AGAIN INTO VIBRATIONAL ALIGNMENT WITH WELLBEING,ONLY THIS TIME YOU ARE NOT DOING IT BECAUSE YOU ARE ASLEEP…YOUR WIDE AWAKE,AND YOU ARE TUNING YOURSELF TO THE VIBRATION OF WHO YOU ARE.
THEN GET UP FROM YOUR MEDITATION CHAIR AND GO RIGHT TO THE KITCHEN AND FIND SOMETHING THAT IS DELICIOUS AND REFRESHING TO EAT,AND AS YOU ARE EATING IT,SIT WITH AN ATTITUDE OF APPRECIATION.
AND ONCE YOUVE FINISHED EATING YOUR DELICIOUS MEAL,WHATEVER IT MIGHT BE,THEN SIT WITH YOUR PAPER AND PEN AND MAKE A LIST OF THINGS YOU APPRECIATE,JUST WRITE THE THINGS THAT FLOW FORTH FROM YOU EASILY,DONT MAKE A LIST OF THE THINGS YOU SHOULD APPRECIATE,JUST THE THINGS YOU DO APPRECIATE.
AND THIS PROCESS WILL PUT YOU IN THE VIBRATIONAL ATTITUDE OF ALIGNMENT WITH SOURCE.
AND IF YOU WILL DO THAT TOMMORROW AND THE NEXT DAY,AND THE NEXT DAY,AND THE NEXT DAY,AND THE NEXT DAY,AND THE NEXT DAY,AND THE NEXT DAY,BEFORE YOU KNOW IT,AND CERTAINLY WITHIN 30 DAYS,YOU WILL HAVE SET THE TONE OF SEEING THE WORLD,THROUGH THE EYES OF SOURCE IN A WAY,YOU HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE,AND THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ASKING US,WHATS IT LIKE TO BE PURE POSITIVE ENERGY,BECAUSE YOULL KNOW IT VISCERALLY,YOULL FEEL IT IN EVERY FIBRE OF YOUR BEING”

TIME PASSED.
There was a time in my life that i fell in a hole.
I’m not proud about it.
I saw it coming and i still fell in.
It hurt
I cried… I cried a lot.
The hole was dark.
I was terrified i might never find my way out.
Time passed.
I planted bitter seeds in the bare earth.
My eyes adjusted to the darkness.
I was still in a hole, but it was MY hole.
It wasn’t so bad.
Time passed.
I began to decorate the walls.
I lined the shelves with books.
I stocked the larder.
It felt comfortable in the hole now.
It wasn’t so bad.
Time passed.
The wall paper began to sag and tear away from the walls.
My eyes could see the bare earth beneath.
I saw the roots of the bitter seeds I had planted.
I blessed their gnarled form.
I touched their withered blooms.
I whispered sweet soulful words of hope.
I still cried…. but now I prayed.
Time passed.
I began to read books.
My mind grew curious.
My eyes grew wise.
My heart grew bold.
My body grew restless.
I startled the darkness with a giggle
It felt wonderful.
I read more, asked more, wanted more.
I grew bold
There was a time when i climbed out of a hole.

For the love of the earth..
She dug deeper.
For the love of community..
She mended fences.
For the love of the stars..
She let her light shine.
For the love of spirit..
She nurtured her soul.
For the love of a good time..
She sowed seeds of happiness.
For the love of the Goddess..
She drew down the moon.
For the love of nature..
She made compost.
For the love of a good meal..

For the love of family..

Twas the Night before Yuletide ☽○☾
Twas the night before Yuletide and all through the glen,
Not a creature was stirring, not a fox, not a hen.
A mantle of snow shone brightly that night
As it lay on the ground, reflecting moonlight.
The faeries were nestled all snug in their trees,
Unmindful of flurries and a chilly north breeze.
The elves and the gnomes were down in their burrows,
Sleeping like babes in their soft earthen furrows.
When low! The earth moved with a thunderous quake,
Causing chairs to fall over and dishes to break.
The Little Folk scrambled to get on their feet
Then raced to the river where they usually meet.
“What happened?” they wondered, they questioned, they probed,
As they shivered in night clothes, some bare-armed, some robed.
“What caused the earth’s shudder?
What caused her to shiver?”
They all spoke at once as they stood by the river.
Then what to their wondering eyes should appear
But a shining gold light in the shape of a sphere.
It blinked and it twinkled, it winked like an eye,
Then it flew straight up and was lost in the sky.
Before they could murmur, before they could bustle,
There emerged from the crowd, with a swish and a rustle,
A stately old crone with her hand on a cane,
Resplendent in green with a flowing white mane.
As she passed by them the old crone’s perfume,
Smelling of meadows and flowers abloom,
Made each of the fey folk think of the spring
When the earth wakes from slumber and the birds start to sing.
“My name is Gaia,” the old crone proclaimed
in a voice that at once was both wild and tamed,
“I’ve come to remind you, for you seem to forget,
that Yule is the time of re-birth, and yet…”
“I see no hearth fires, hear no music, no bells,
The air isn’t filled with rich fragrant smells
Of baking and roasting, and simmering stews,
Of cider that’s mulled or other hot brews.”
“There aren’t any children at play in the snow,
Or houses lit up by candles’ glow.
Have you forgotten, my children, the fun
Of celebrating the rebirth of the sun?”
She looked at the fey folk, her eyes going round,
As they shuffled their feet and stared at the ground.
Then she smiled the smile that brings light to the day,
“Come, my children,” she said, “Let’s play.”
They gathered the mistletoe, gathered the holly,
Threw off the drab and drew on the jolly.
They lit a big bonfire, and they danced and they sang.
They brought out the bells and clapped when they rang.
They strung lights on the trees, and bows, oh so merry,
In colors of cranberry, bayberry, cherry.
They built giant snowmen and adorned them with hats,
Then surrounded them with snow birds, and snow cats and bats.
Then just before dawn, at the end of their fest,
Before they went homeward to seek out their rest,
The fey folk they gathered ‘round their favorite oak tree
And welcomed the sun ‘neath the tree’s finery.
They were just reaching home when it suddenly came,
The gold light returned like an arrow-shot flame.
It lit on the tree top where they could see from afar
The golden-like sphere turned into a star.
The old crone just smiled at the beautiful sight,
“Happy Yuletide, my children,” she whispered. “Good night.”

She is Sacred
She feels it
Inside her mind
Inside her body
Outside
Within
Moved to a place that is bigger than her
Taken inside her core far deeper than physical presence
There is a special place
Somewhere where only she can go
Somewhere where the stars meet spirit
Somewhere where her body meets the universe
There is a special place
It is hers
It is Sacred
No earthly thing can take it from her
No doctrine can divide her
No law can govern her
No oppression can stop her
Her sacredness is energy
Her sacredness is love
Her sacredness is her temple, her body, her mind
Wrapped together with the Unknown
She does not need to name it
She does not need to understand it
She accepts it for what it is
Her Sacredness recognises the Sacred in others
Her Sacredness acknowledges the Sacred in everything
Divine
It is a simple thread
Woven through the hearts of all those connected
Connected to the kindness
Connected to the peace
Connected to each other
Through
With
Something bigger
Something that makes more sense
Something that feels right
It is hers
It is sacred

lovely words by Louise Hay
This is a wonderful time for reflection. As you prepare to begin your New Year, ask yourself these simple questions:
What shall I now release from my life?
What or who no longer works for me?
What am I holding on to that holds me back?
What thoughts or beliefs belong to the old me?
How am I being unloving to myself?
What do I believe that really works for me?
Am I ready to let go?
What is going on in my life that is terrific and wonderful?
Where am I being very loving to myself?
Where am I most content?
What do I want to bring to my life?
How do I want the next year to be?
Who do I want to bring into my world?
How do I want to look?
What image do I want to project?
How healthy do I want to be?
What changes can I make to feel healthier?
How prosperous do I want to feel?
What kind of world do I want to live in?
How much love am I willing to experience?
Take time to acknowledge all of your positive growth and change in the last year.
Then affirm:
I am one with the infinite wisdom and capabilities of the Universe itself.
All good is available to me, right here and right now.
All I have to do is to use the power of my thoughts to create that which I desire.
And so it is!
Life loves us, and will bring us wonders all year long. I wish you a fabulous 2015!

Oh, what’s the rush…
It takes a long time to clear emotional debris.
It takes a long time to peel off our armor.
It takes a long time to recognize our magnificence.
It takes a long time to heal our shame.
It takes a long time to explore our possibilities.
It takes a long time to find our voice.
It takes a long time to integrate our changes.
It takes a long time to learn the lessons that expand us.
It takes a long time to craft a life of purpose.
It’s a life long journey.
Rushing works against us.

And the Great Mother said:
Come my child and give me all that you are.
You are not too much for me. My arms and heart welcome your true fullness.
There is room in my world for all of you, all that you are.
I will cradle you in the boughs of my ancient redwoods and the valleys of my gentle rolling hills.
My soft winds will sing you lullabies and soothe your burdened heart.
Release your deep pain. You are not alone and you have never been alone.

You are not who you think you are.
You are not your fears, your thoughts, or your body.
You are not your insecurities, your career, or your memories. You’re not what you’re criticized for
and you’re not what you’re praised for.
You are a boundless wealth of potential.
You are everything that’s ever been.
Don’t sell yourself short.
Every sunset, every mountain, every river, every passionate crowd, every concert, every drop of rain – that’s you.
So go find yourself.
Go find your strength, find your beauty, find your purpose.
Stop crafting your mask.
Stop hiding.
Stop lying to yourself and letting people lie to you.
You’re not lacking in anything except awareness.
Everything you’ve ever wanted is already there,
awaiting your attention, awaiting your time.”

Spring Blessing
One day you wake up
able to name the weight
you’ve been carrying.
Realizing it’s not part of your body or your being,
not essential in any way to journeying or joy,
you set it down gently, without fanfare
in the long soft grass at the side of the road
and walk on
surprised to find yourself
smiling in the warm sun
for no particular reason.

May you listen to the voice within the beat even when you are tired.
When you feel yourself breaking down, may you break open instead.
May every experience in… life be a door that opens your heart, expands your understanding, and leads you to freedom.
If you are weary, may you be aroused by passion and purpose.
If you are blameful and bitter, may you be sweetened by hope and humour.
If you are frightened, may you be emboldened by a big consciousness far wiser than your fear.
If you are lonely, may you find love, may you find friendship.
If you are lost, may you understand that we are all lost, and still we are guided -
By Strange Angels and Sleeping Giants,
By our better and kinder natures,
By the vibrant voice within the beat.
May you follow that voice,
For This is the way -
The hero’s journey,
The life worth living,
The reason we are here

Even if it’s a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it’s a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it’s a long way from here.
Hold on to your life,

Hold on to my hand,

You cannot wait for the perfect time; it will never come. If you think this moment feels like the wrong time, think again. It’s just uncertainty messing with your mind. Most of the time you must dare to jump. Today is the first day of a new beginning – the conception of a new life. The next nine months are all yours. You can do with them as you please. Make them count. Because a new person is born in nine months. The only question is: Who do you want that person to be? Right now is the right time to decide. ~marcandangel.com

just read this for the first time and love it
When the rhythm of the heart becomes hectic,
Time takes on the strain until it breaks;
Then all the unattended stress falls in
On the mind like an endless, increasing weight,
The light in the mind becomes dim.
Things you could take in your stride before
Now become laborsome events of will.
Weariness invades your spirit.
Gravity begins falling inside you,
Dragging down every bone.
The tide you never valued has gone out.
And you are marooned on unsure ground.
Something within you has closed down;
And you cannot push yourself back to life.
You have been forced to enter empty time.
The desire that drove you has relinquished.
There is nothing else to do now but rest
And patiently learn to receive the self
You have forsaken for the race of days.
At first your thinking will darken
And sadness take over like listless weather.
The flow of unwept tears will frighten you.
You have travelled too fast over false ground;
Now your soul has come to take you back.
Take refuge in your senses, open up
To all the small miracles you rushed through.
Become inclined to watch the way of rain
When it falls slow and free.
Imitate the habit of twilight,
Taking time to open the well of colour
That fostered the brightness of day.
Draw alongside the silence of stone
Until its calmness can claim you.
Be excessively gentle with yourself.
Stay clear of those vexed in spirit.
Learn to linger around someone of ease
Who feels they have all the time in the world.
Gradually, you will return to yourself,
Having learned a new respect for your heart
And the joy that dwells far within slow time.

The chief beauty about time
is that you cannot waste it in advance.
The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you,
as perfect, as unspoile…d,

You can turn over a new leaf every hour

“Allowing Ability To Blossom”
Progress is made by those who have the courage to be wrong and the persistence to find how to get it right. Great achievements are crafted into existence by those who, when they begin, are not sure exactly how they’ll do it.
Don’t wait until you know how to do everything before you have the confidence to do anything. Find confidence in the authenticity of your desire and the goodness of your purpose.
You don’t have to already be an expert to gain expertise. You just have to get busy.
If you should stumble a lot at first, get back up each time and apply what you’ve just learned. Even when you stumble going forward, you’re still moving ahead.
Don’t wait for confidence to somehow come to you. Get out there and create it for yourself.
You are worthy, and able to reach the goals that truly mean something for you. Get yourself going, and enjoy the experience of allowing your ability to blossom.

“The Journey
One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you
kept shouting their bad advice ~ though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles. “Mend my life!” each voice cried. But you didn’t stop. You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible. It was already late enough, and a wild night, and the road full of fallen branches and stones. But little by little, as you left their voices behind, the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds, and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world, determined to do the only thing you could do ~ determined to save the only life you could save.”

After I watched the above video I realised when I think about doing this a lot I sometimes block receiving but when I really feel it in my heart and soul I am open to accepting .
For many years my dream was to graduate from a local uni with a degree but it felt impossible partly due to finances and also because I believed I was not clever enough
One day my daughter suggested applying for funding and so I did .
Thanks to Student Finance I received student loans for the fees and grants and loans for living costs and started a 2 year foundation degree in Complimentary therapies which was studied at a local college but run by this university with the chance if I passed this level to go on to the uni and complete another year to take the degree up to a bachelors .
During the last two years I have laughed ,cried ,struggled ,learnt so much ,met so many lovely people, done things I would never have believed possible and graduate on 21st July with the foundation degree, AND in September I start at this university doing the third year and will graduate July 2016 with a BSc(hons) in complimentary Therapies.
What I have just realised this morning is that if I thought about the work I had to do ,the things I had to learn and imagined failing that is what I would have attracted .But my heart was set on going to this uni so much that the longing to go there is stronger than the belief that I could not do .Whenever I went to the library there ( we could use the uni facilities as well as our college ones) I walked up that path feeling as though I would burst with gratitude ,happiness and a growing sense of “I can do this “I pictured myself there in the third year wearing a purple uni hoody, working in the library ,as I walked around the duck pond past the building we will be in I was feeling in my heart “ I will be in there in September having lectures” ,I pictured sitting in the grounds with our group as I sat there myself with a cup of tea. At the time I did not realise I was doing this and now I know how it feels to be in “the law of attraction”
I didn’t just dream it I lived it,felt it and did the work needed to get there and my dreams are coming true.

When you’re feeling lonely,
it’s not the presence of another person that you’re missing,
it’s your own warm presence.
In search of another,
you’ve disconnected from yourself –
the greatest pain of all.
Turn towards the place where you stand.
Reconnect with a breath. The morning breeze. The sound of the rain. A silent cup of tea. Dancing sensations in the belly, the chest, the head.
Be here. Sink into gentleness. Watch your loneliness dissolve into exquisite solitude and a fresh morning.
Be alone, with the miracle of life itself.

She Has A Secret Garden
She Has A Secret Garden
Buried deep inside her mind
She goes there when she needs to rest
When it is peace she has to find
Her resting place a bed of leaves
Strewn with a down of flowers
The scent so sweet, a heady rush
Enough to cover troubles
She looks around and breathes it in
She listens to the sounds
The buzzing bees, the wistful breeze
The birdsong all around
The lushness of the greenery
The ivy covered walls
The sun rays piercing through the dreams
The splashing waterfalls
The paths of love are all about her
Scattered jewels abound
Each colored in a ways that lead
Her next step to be found
Mosaic, mandalas, melodies
This secret gardens treasure
Crystals, rocks, hymns of love
She seeks and finds pure pleasure
Flowers, fauna, babies breath
Her heart opens to the feeling
This secret spot a sacred space
For her to gain true healing
Her eyes they close, she knows true joy
Her path, next step revealing
For her truth is in her heart
She rests and keeps on dreaming
And when at last it does become
Time real life re-enter
She does so filled with inner peace
Healed heart filled love and centered

She let go. Without a thought or a word, she let go. She let go of the fear. … She let go of the judgments. She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head. She let go of the committee of indecision within her. She let go of all the ‘right’ reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go. She didn’t ask anyone for advice. She didn’t read a book on how to let go. She didn’t search the scriptures. She just let go. She let go of all of the memories that held her back. She let go of all of the anxiety that kept her from moving forward. She let go of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right. She didn’t promise to let go. She didn’t journal about it. She didn’t write the projected date in her Day-Timer. She made no public announcement and put no ad in the paper. She didn’t check the weather report or read her daily horoscope. She just let go. She didn’t analyze whether she should let go. She didn’t call her friends to discuss the matter. She didn’t do a five-step Spiritual Mind Treatment. She didn’t call the prayer line. She didn’t utter one word. She just let go. No one was around when it happened. There was no applause or congratulations. No one thanked her or praised her. No one noticed a thing. Like a leaf falling from a tree, she just let go. There was no effort. There was no struggle. It wasn’t good and it wasn’t bad. It was what it was, and it is just that. In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A small smile came over her face. A light breeze blew through her. And the sun and the moon shone forevermore…

“Learn firsthand the transforming power of nurture over nature. Nourish your body with healthy food and pure water. Slow down and remember to breathe before taking a bite. Breathe out stress and negativity, breathe in oxygen and positive energy. Rediscover how marvelous it is simply to move: stretch, dance, walk, run, jump, skip, play, embrace. Pamper your body with comfortable clothes, quiet moments, and soothing beauty rituals. “A woman’s relationship with her body is the most important relationship she’ll ever have. More important than husband, lover, children, friends, colleagues. This isn’t selfishness—it’s just fact,” health and fitness expert Diana K. Some people do not have to search –
they find their niche early in life and rest there,
seemingly contented and resigned.
They do not seem to ask much of life,
sometimes they do not seem to take it seriously.
At times I envy them,
but usually I do not understand them –
seldom do they understand me.
I am one of the searchers.
There are, I believe, millions of us.
We are not unhappy, but neither are we really content.
We continue to explore life,
hoping to uncover its ultimate secret.
We continue to explore ourselves,
hoping to understand.
We like to walk along the beach –
we are drawn by the ocean,
taken by its power, its unceasing motion,
its mystery and unspeakable beauty.
We like forests and mountains, deserts
and hidden rivers, and the lonely cities as well.
Our sadness is as much a part of our lives
as is our laughter.
To share our sadness with the one we love
is perhaps as great a joy as we can know –
unless it is to share our laughter.
We searchers are ambitious only for life itself,
for everything beautiful it can provide.
Most of all we want to love and be loved.
We want to live in a relationship that will not impede
our wandering, nor prevent our search,
nor lock us in prison walls.
We do not want to prove ourselves
to another or compete for love.
We are wanderers, dreamers and lovers,
lonely souls who dare ask of life
everything good and beautiful.

It’s Time to Let Go~~
A New Dawn is upon us… A New Way of Being… It is time …It is time to let go of all that is not real… It is time for us to stop being who we are not…It is time, now, for us just to be us! It is time to stop pretending to be something else and someone else to please other people or to fit in. It’s time to realise that there is no ‘one’ way to live our lives. To realise that there is no ‘right’ way to do anything…only our way. We do not have to meditate in a certain way, or even meditate at all…if it doesn’t feel right for us. We don’t have to ‘be’ spiritual in a certain way. We don’t have to ‘be spiritual’, because we already are. Just being us is the perfect thing to be – without trying!
We don’t have to be or do anything at all that we don’t want to do or if it doesn’t feel right for us. It’s time to understand that the right things for us are those things that feel right – those things that make us laugh, make us smile, bring us joy, make us feel wonderful! Those things we feel passionate about, that we really want to do. Those things that we LOVE. For this is truly who we really are – we are all of those things. And when we are doing and being these things we are honouring who we are. It’s time to let go of feeling guilty about enjoying ourselves and doing what we love because doing things we love is an expression of our real selves.
It’s time to stop listening to others and to start listening to us. It’s time to pay attention to what feels right for us in every area of our life. Because we are the only experts on us. No one else is. We are unique. One size does not fit all. There are no rules we should follow in order for us to be ‘us’, except ones we make for ourselves – because they feel right.
It’s time to start listening to our bodies, because only our own body can tell us what it needs to ‘feed’ it and to keep it healthy. We know whenever we eat or drink something whether it is good for us or not, by how it makes us feel. No one else can tell us this for they don’t know how our body feels. When someone tells us that a particular food or drink is good, or not, for us…that maybe true for them, but it certainly is not necessarily true for us. It’s time to let go of the thought that other people know what is best for us and to start asking ‘our selves’, our intuition, what is best for us. We do know…
It’s time to start paying attention to how we feel about things instead of what we think about them. It’s time to stop listening to our mind and to stop taking notice of what the media tells us…because what the media is saying is not necessarily true for us. We can tell that by how it makes us feel. Does it make you feel fearful? If it does then it is not true for you! However if you keep focusing on it then it may well become true for you. Instead take your power back and focus instead on something better, more wonderful, something that feels good… Remember, the media’s job is to keep us in fear, because then we are more malleable, easier to control… They want us to keep listening to them, because the minute we stop doing that and start paying attention to ourselves instead, then we are in charge, not them…
It’s time for us to stand up and be who we really are. It’s time to stop saying yes when we mean no. It’s time to put ourselves first and do those things that make us feel good, because when we do that, we feel so good that we want to do loving things for everyone around us. When we feel good the world feels good.
It’s time for us to step out of the old patterns that we have inherited from our ancestors. And we know what those are. They are patterns that have kept us small, unseen and unheard. They have made us feel unworthy and unimportant. They have made us feel that everyone matters but us and that it is our job to make everyone else feel that they matter… But that is not who we really are. And deep inside we know that. We really know that.
Up… Stand Tall… Look in the mirror… It’s time…. You can do this… You are not alone… Because it’s our time…it’s already happening.
It’s time to throw away the rule books that tell us how we should live our lives. All we need to do is to just be ‘us’. If we can just pay attention to how we are feeling in every moment, then we will start to know and understand that if we’re not feeling good, then that is our intuition, the greater part of who we are, giving us a message that we’re not doing the right thing for us in that moment…or maybe we’re not behaving in the best way we can… If we can just pay attention to that and know that when we are feeling good we are being who we really are, the person we are born to be… then we’re doing what we’re here to do… To live our BEST life, to be the best we can be.
And by being us, by living in integrity as best we can, listening to our bodies and to how we feel, living intuitively as best we can, then we will walk towards everything we want in our lives. It really is that simple.
It’s time to stop listening to other people and to listen to ourselves. We are the only ones that know what is best for ‘us’. No amount of books we read can tell us that. They can point us in the right direction, but we need to filter what they say through our own lens. The information in the books was true for the person who wrote it, but it doesn’t mean it’s true for you.
It’s time to understand that the only things that are true for you are what feel true… You are the expert on you… Sure you’re not perfect and of course you will make mistakes finding out what IS true for you… but it’s only by trial and error, by making mistakes that you will find that out… If you stick to someone else’s rules then you will never find out who you really are… you’ll only know who you aren’t… and you won’t even know that, you’ll just ‘not feel right’ and you’ll still have that nagging feeling that there must be more to life than this.
It’s time to be brave…to climb out of the box… to do things differently…to throw away the rule books…to get to know YOU. You are perfect, amazing, wonderful, funny, brilliant… you may not know it…because it’s so long since you ever saw this version of you… But believe me you are all those things… I know it, because we all are… Remember how you were when you were a child? You knew you were all these things… It’s time to rediscover, to remember that version of you… no, to create an even better version of you… And now is the time to start….
”It’s time to be you like you’ve never been before
It’s time to be you like only you can be
To acknowledge your strength
Your knowingness, your intuition
It’s time to be YOU
And that time is NOW!”

“She was left bare and exposed. Not bare to the world but exposed to herself. Her world. Her silent mind was being tested. Revealing once again, her innate need for answers… but this time, shadowed with the quiet reminder that she needed no answers at all. The incessant desire to know, slowly fading away. Leaving the lingering, familiar taste of life’s flow. Like a snake, she was watching herself shed her skin. But like a caterpillar, she patiently waited to turn into something far more beautiful. And like an unpretentious bud, she was allowing her roots to stretch deeper into the earth.”~

The Awakening Woman works to come from a place of abundance rather than scarcity. She is intimate with her fear, knowing when to let it guide her and when to confront and move through it; she uses it and other emotions as sacred keys to unlock the depths of her soul. She goes to her edge, yet honours her limitations without judgment or shame. She makes it a priority to find some refuge in a world that can feel unsafe to her.~

Your Feelings Hold Intelligence~~
There is beauty in doubt.
It keeps the mind curious, open, fresh,
away from the harshness of conclusions.
There is sacredness in sadness.
It keeps the heart soft, mellow, fertilised,
ready for the emergence of joy.
Even your anger is precious.
It brims with life, dignity, passion,
the longing to be heard,
to fight for those without a voice.
Do not push away any feeling;
make room for them, let them move.
Be their home, their sanctuary.

“….You are not too much. You have never been too much. You will never be too much.
The very idea is preposterous. Because you were born to be you. All of you. Not a tiny acceptable sliver. Not a watered down version with colours dulled and edges softened.
Because you, my girl, are the sun and the moon and the stars. You are the force that pulls the tides. You are the unrestrained howl under a wide-open moon. You are the essence of what it is to dance into ecstasy. You are the heat and the sex and the sweat and the burn and soft and the grace and the grit and the ocean of tears.
You are all of everything.
You are the mother of us all and the daughter of the Universe.
You walk through shadows and light.
You burn down and rise up and hold captive the pulse of the world.
You make the gods tremble.
And that, my dear, is bound to make some people crazy uncomfortable. It will make them pull back and push away. Because the way you dance with your shadows and your steadfast commitment to your light will push them into spaces that are fascinating and compelling and utterly terrifying.
Your very Being asks them to step into places they may not be near ready to visit, let alone stay.
Because like the depths of the ocean that calls you home, you will never be easy.
But darling, you were not brought here for easy. You are here for so much more.
Because you are a boundary-pusher.
You’re a truth-seeker.
You’re temptation and seduction and heat.
You’re a mirror and a sorcerer, and inside you swirls the power of the ancients.
So no, you are not easy.
But in the space of that truth, please also know this. Do not get this confused with the notion that you do not deserve the deepest ease.
Don’t, for a minute, let them convince you that you will not know the grace of a lover who does not require that you constantly translate yourself or diminish yourself or quiet your storm or tone down your extravagant love.
Because out there somewhere there is a love who will never dream of calling you too much. Who speaks, like you, in poetry and candlewax and stardust. Who runs outside on stormy nights to howl at the moon. Who collects bones and sings incantation and talks to the ancestors.
And that lover, when you find him or her, will see you and know you — just as you are and just as you should be.
And they will say Yes. Yes, you. I will go there with you. I have been waiting for this.
And so while you are waiting, I want you to do this. For me, and for every last too much girl out there.
You take all that too much and you channel it. You gather every last ember of your too much broken heart and you light that flame. And in doing so you will call forth the others and sing the song that brings us home.
And then you — in your infinite, perfect too-muchness — unleash it all on the world. And you go and love too much and you cry too much and you swear too much. Fall in love to fast and get sad too often and laugh too loudly and demand with clarity the exact terms of your own desired existence.
Don’t you dare consider doing anything but that.
Because we need you. Every one of us, man or woman, who has been called too much. You are our reminder, in the most desperate of moment, that we are exactly as we should be.
Every last too-much bit.”

As I Began to Love Myself ~ Self Love Poem by Charlie Chaplin
As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody as I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me.
Today I call it “RESPECT”.
As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm.
Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.
As I began to love myself I quit steeling my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do
and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.
As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.
As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since
I was wrong less of the time.
Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.
As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worry about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING is happening.
Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.
As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally.
Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.
We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
Today I know THAT IS “LIFE”!
(¯`’•.¸(¯`’•.¸(¯`’•.¸ ¸.•‘´¯)¸.•‘´¯)¸.•‘´¯)
Chaplin’s self love poem points us to listening to the heart, instead of merely paying attention to the voice of the ego. The ego’s emotions are not the same as the true feelings of the heart. The ego acts out of fear-consciousness, putting us through a parody of madness.
The heart is love conscious. It allows us to heal, repair and rejuvenate. Only with an open heart, can love come in.
Nonetheless, it is important to recognize that the ego has its purpose. It wishes to keep us protected and safe in this world. We cannot also get rid of the ego. Hence, we need to learn to work with it.
The best way forward is to meet the heart with the mind. Chaplin calls it aligning with the “Wisdom of the Heart”. It’s when life becomes full. It’s when magic happens!!

Speak your truth~
Wisdom and objectivity are important and are integral to helping you move in the direction of you intentions. Honest and open communication is using your natural resources wisely and is always the best and simplest approach. Be aware of your own emotions and how you feel about your life and what is happening for you right now. Be clear on what you want and take action to help you create your intentions into manifestation. Adhere to your moral principles and as you do, you are setting new professional and personal standards as a model for others to follow.
Make a commitment to your long term goals. Your goals and dreams are important and will work out as you trust that you are being guided toward the success you seek as you continue to look for other possibilities and stay open to the opportunities that are always presenting themselves to you. Sometimes you just need to make a decision on what it is you want or the direction you would like to go and then all the pieces and parts can then fall into play, so also remember to be patient as the outcome unfolds.
Affirmation: “I communicate my truth openly and honestly. My professional and personal integrity are important to me as I live my life in my truth and by my truth.”
And so it is.~

The Sanctity of the Feminine ~~
As a woman returns from the descent, she takes back her body,
and in this act of reclamation, she takes back not only her personal
physical form but she embodies the sacredness of the feminine for all
of us. She begins to make conscious its needs.
Through conscious nutrition, exercise, bathing, rest taking,
healing, lovemaking, birthing, and dying she reminds us
of the sanctity of the feminine.
The sacred dimension is embodied, and the soul of a
human being as well as the soul of a culture cannot evolve
if the body is not reclaimed and honoured.

The point of self-love
is to not become selfish
but to heal from the inside out
and to allow the parts of us that were once shut down, to open.
By doing this,
we will have more to give life and to others.
Not less.

For those of you who feel highly sensitive and ungrounded like myself.
BLANKET OF EARTH AFFIRMATION
By Rita Loyd © 2015
I wrap this blanket of Earth around my shoulders.
I feel the solidness and security of its loving embrace.
This blanket extends in front of me, behind me, to my left, and to my right.
This blanket creates a barrier of protection between this world and myself.
I feel grounded and safe.
From this blanket of Earth,
my body absorbs the rich nutrients of the soil according to what my body needs.
These nutrients nourish all of the systems in my body,
including my nervous system.
As my nervous system receives these nutrients,
it feels like a soothing salve is coating over
and cushioning every nerve fiber in my body
allowing me to feel comfortable and secure
within myself.
As I sense the support of the Earth around me,
I ground my energy into the Earth through the soles of my feet.
From my feet grow roots that expand deep into the Earth.
Through this root system, I give to the Earth my weaknesses.
From the Earth, I receive its strengthening life force energy;
the same life force energy
that transforms the tiny acorn into a mighty oak.
This life force energy gently rises up through my feet and legs
to circulate throughout my body,
like sap rising from the roots of a tree to nourish its branches and leaves.
I feel nurtured and loved.
I feel peace and stability.
I feel my energy increase and my health improve.
I feel grounded and relaxed.
I feel safe and protected

“A breeze is stirring. Feel the sun on your wings.”
“As you move through these changing times.. be easy on yourself and be easy on one another… You are at the beginning of something new. You are learning a new way of being. You will find that you are working less in the yang modes that you are used to. You will stop working so hard at getting from point ‘a’ to point ‘b’ the way you have in the past.. but will instead spend more time experiencing yourself in the whole and your place in it. Instead of traveling to a goal out there.. you will voyage deeper into yourself.
Your mother’s mother’s mother knew how to do this. Your ancestors from long ago knew how to do this. They knew the power of the feminine principle and because you carry their DNA is in your body.. this wisdom and this way of being is within you. Call on it.. call it up. Invite your ancestors in. As the yang based habits and the decaying institutions on our planet begin to crumble.. look up. A breeze is stirring. Feel the sun on your wings.”

this has been copied from a thread of Jeff’s called Changing Perspective on Health and I am sharing it here too
my son told me recently “you know so much about health but you don’t take care of your self” and he is right.
I love the alternative and complementary therapies and have this vision of the person I want to be.
The me I envisage is at peace with herself and excludes this peace and calm wherever she goes. She has a daily yoga and meditation practice and has created a small sacred space in her home to provide a personal sanctuary. She eats a very healthy vegan diet but is open to vegan treats occasionally – actually no ignore “but is open to vegan treats occasionally “ because I realise that is because of other peoples thinking and comments as though having a diet full of fresh fruit ,vegetables ,nuts, seeds ,whole grains ,water ,herbal tea is a thing you need treats added to instead the actual food eaten being totally enjoyed and appreciated.
She guards her time and her home and surrounds herself with people who understand and respect her beliefs and lifestyle ( no noisy people dropping in at random times )She protects her time for walks in nature ,reiki treatments ( by self and others ) cfafts, sleep .
She works – either paid or voluntary in a job that honours her beliefs of peace ,non violence ,kindness, and truth.
She wears what she wants and feels comfortable in ,buying things that are ethically made and as much as possible, making ,recycling and repairing her clothes and possessions. Her home is lovingly cared for and only has things in that she loves and needs ,it is her nest ,loving built to comfort and protect.Anything not needed or loved has been given away to help others.
She forgives herself and others for past mistakes and lets it go.She lives in the present moment and looks after her physical ,mental and spiritual health so well that she does not fear the future but knows she will live every day in peace ,gratitude and love
She allows herself to be just that – herself – not who society tells her to be ,not who she feels she should be but who her authentic self truly is as she listens to the whispers of her soul and lives her life in the way that creates and protects her health and happiness
WOW ,that was a surprise and came from somewhere very deep inside ,thanks Jeff for opening the door to let this surface. It started because I realised reading how you can relate health to things that resonate with you ,I could do that thinking about the lifestyle I love and desire

I am giving myself the same unconditional love and peace that I share when I give someone reiki

‘In the development of women, all these motions of “home-keeping,” the cooking, the washing, the sweeping, quantify something beyond the ordinary.
All these metaphors offer ways to think about, to measure, feed, nourish, straighten, cleanse, order the soul-life.
In all these things a woman is initiated, and her intuition helps her accomplish the tasks.
The intuitive nature carries the ability to measure things at a glance, to weigh in an instant, to clear off the debris around an idea, and to name the essence of the thing, to fire it with vitality, to cook raw ideas, to make food for the psyche.
The woman through her intuition, is learning to sort, understand, keep in order, and clear and clean the psychic premises.
Additionally, she learns that the Wild Woman (within) requires much nourishment in order to do her work.
Women’s cycles according to her tasks are these:
To cleanse one’s thinking, renewing one’s values, on a regular basis.
To clear one’s psyche of trivia, sweep one’s self, clean up one’s thinking and feeling states on a regular basis.
To build creative fire and cook up ideas on a systematic basis and especially to cook up a lot, to feed the relationship between oneself and the wildish nature.’

Tree of Life Blessing for New Years
May you choose outrageous actions that challenge who you are and encourage who you are becoming.
May you take one step, however small, toward that which you have always longed for. Now is the “right time.”
May you recognize the unique and powerful contribution that you bring to the people whose lives you touch.
May you be as wonderful as you really are, and do things because you want to, not just because you should.
May you celebrate your creativity and believe that you are an artist with a unique vision that no one else has.
May you find peace and purpose and possibility amidst the chaos while remaining aware of the unrest in the world.
May you reach towards the Spirit with a longing that keeps you awake to the miracles available all around you.
May your faith move any mountains that stand in your way and bring you great teachers to awaken your understanding.
May you give up shame, guilt and self-neglect and replace them with qualities like freedom, integrity and self-nurturing.
May you offer the gifts and blessings of your soul to beings of the world when the time is ripe for you to release them.
May you passionately and deeply love and be loved by someone who can see who you really are.
May your body speak to you and teach you how to care for the temple that houses your bright spirit.
May you walk gently on the earth and honor your hearth and family with your action and your rest.
May you find and enjoy the fruit of abundance so that your life path can be fortified and furthered.
May you embrace the Tree of Life and be informed by the wisdom and she brings to those on her path.
May LOVE be at the center of all your choices and may you, with me, send this blessing to all beings.
Amen.
For she is a tree of life to those that embrace her. Proverbs

She’s coming into her power…
She has learnt that in order to be at peace she needs to face herself honestly and accept herself as she is…
She has learnt that her truth is not something that she has borrowed from a “holy” book or a guru,
Her truth is her authenticity that is inclusive of all aspects of herself in any given moment, the angel whispers along with the taunts of her disgruntled gremlins,
her authenticity is choice-less, it is what she is experiencing and witnessing right now, not what she aspires to be…
She has learnt that she gets stuck in a viscous cycle when she chooses to deny, cover up or employ distractions from what she is truly feeling… This approach in the past served only to build more pressure and stress, it failed to heal her internal conflicts…
She has learnt that owning her baggage does not keep her stuck with her baggage, on the contrary, her willingness to observe her illusions without judgment is what is allowing her to dismantle their hold over her…
She has learnt that her true task is to set her love free, starting with loving all of herself, and it is this that creates union and balance within and without naturally…
She’s experiencing dropping into this state of love more regularly…
She has learnt that in this state of union her fearful ego has no power and no say, it transforms into a healthy self confidence, there is no fight or flight necessary..
She is a modern day high priestess willing to occupy and be in charge of her own inner temple…
She is busy sweeping it clean for God/dess to occupy…
She is one of many daughters of the Goddess who have returned with the keys to break the paradigm shackles of the dark ages and to open the portals to the golden age of love.

~What do you see when you look in the mirror? I hope you see a woman who's worth it and deserves nothing but the best, I hope that you see beyond the pain, I hope that you see strength, courage, grace, and charm. I hope you see a strong woman, a survivor. I hope you see love, beauty, compassion and patience. A woman who loves herself without judgement, a woman who refuses to criticize herself. A woman who has come a long way to be able to say to herself "I love you" A woman w...ho may have been living in fear and isolation, a woman who finally set herself free. A woman who may have decented in flames and she found the courage to rise from the ashes. A woman who, with time has gained wisdom and knowledge and has felt power like she has never felt before. A woman who has found peace with who she is, whatever she may have done, and knows what she wants. I hope you see a wild woman with a soul that craves adventure, and has learned to celebrate each day of her life. And I hope you see a woman who also knows she deserves to be loved and cherished for who she is. A woman who may have been knocked to her knees by the what life had thrown at her, but she got up, and inspires others to do the same. A woman who walks with her head held high. I hope you see a woman who is proud of who she is. I hope you see a unstoppable woman, she may have tears in her eyes, her heart broken, but she is a woman who will never give up. i hope you see a fighter, one who refuses to step down. I hope you see a woman who isn't defined by others words, because she defines yourself. I hope you see that woman every single day in the mirror, let her live, let her be free~

I have just added a new affirmation to my list and am thinking of starting a new thread so putting it here for now
" I love my quirkiness "
Im adding this definition as I want to become proud of being quirky and not feel as though I should "blend in"
"You could probably call her quirky, meaning she's unconventional and has a strange mix of traits that somehow end up being kind of interesting or charming. This informal all-purpose term can be used to describe anything that doesn't quite fit in."

UNCONDITIONAL SELF-LOVE AFFIRMATION
by Rita Loyd © 2015
I choose to walk the path of unconditional self-love. ...
I choose to let go of self-hate and to all its many disguises.
I choose to slow down and to make time for myself.
I choose to look inward and to be honest with myself.
I choose to be kind and compassionate as I look inward.
I choose to pay attention to what I need and to provide that for myself.
I choose to take care of my health and to listen to my body and emotions.
I choose to be grateful and to see the good in myself and in life.
I choose to know and understand myself better.
I choose to be patient with myself.
I choose to speak to myself with words
that are supportive, encouraging, and kind.
I choose to treat myself with actions
that are fair, healthy, and respectful.
I choose to see myself, and my life, and my future,
with confidence, courage, and trust.
I choose to honor my history and my survival.
I choose to create healthy boundaries around difficult relationships.
I choose to forgive my past mistakes
because I know I did the best that I could, with the knowledge I had,
and in the state of mind I was in.
I choose to recognize and to nurture my talents and abilities.
I choose to use my talents and abilities to improve my life and
the world around me.
I choose to seek wisdom and truth.
I choose to live the best life possible.
I choose to creatively express myself and to allow myself to be heard.
I choose to leave the shadows of self-hate in order to live in the light of unconditional self-love.
I choose to unconditionally love myself.

YES, YOU CAN LOVE OTHERS WITHOUT LOVING YOURSELF but it will come from a limited expression of love. It won't necessarily be the love they need. It may contain unrealistic expectations, insecurity, jealousy, fear, desperation, addiction, criticism, judgment, abuse, while providing only the basics for physical survival. But, the more you can love yourself and discover what you truly need, not only on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level, the healthier your love for others will be because you finally understand what they need. ~ Rita Loyd

"Clearing negative energy and placing protection" by Rita Loyd. This painting represents an exercise that I do before going into a space that may contain negative energy such as overwhelming sadness, fear or anxiety. First, I like to visualize everyone's energy, including my own, being contained inside our own protective, peaceful bubbles of space. Then I like to vacuum out the nega...tive energy between the bubbles so that the space feels more neutral and pleasant. Next, I visualize the doors and windows opening, letting in the positive light and beauty of life. In this painting I also include a sage stick, for a chimney, to help clear out any remaining negative energy. And beneath this building I place a foundation of loving and grounding roots symbolizing that love is the foundation in which this building stands. http://www.NurturingArt.com

After a while..
After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a Soul
and you learn
thaL Love doesn’t mean leaning
and company doesn’t always mean security.
And you begin to learn
that kisses aren’t contracts
and presents aren’t promises
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the Grace of woman, not the grief of a child
and you learn
to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow’s ground is
too uncertain for plans
and futures have a way of falling down
in mid-flight.
After a while you learn
that even sunshine burns
if you get too much
so you plant your own garden
and decorate your own Soul
instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
you really are strong
you really do have worth
and you learn
and you learn
with every goodbye, you learn..

A Blessing By John O"Donohue ~
May the light of your soul guide you; May the light of your soul bless the work you do with the secret love and warmth of your heart. May you see in what you do the beauty of your own soul; May the sacredness of your work bring healing, light and renewal to those who work with you and to those who see and receive your work; May your work never weary you; May it release within you wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement; May you be present in what you do. May you never become lost in the bland absences; May the day never burden; May dawn find you awake and alert, approaching your new day with dreams, possibilities and promises; May evening find you gracious and fulfilled; May you go into the night blessed, sheltered and protected; May your soul calm, console and renew you."

Awake Awhile
It does not have to be
Forever,
Right Now.
One Step upon the Sky's soft skirt
Would be enough.
Hafiz,
Awake awhile
Just one True moment of Love
Will last for days.
Rest all your elaborate plans and tactics
for Knowing Him,
For they are all just frozen spring buds
Far,
So far from Summer's Divine Gold.
Awake, my dear.
Be kind to your sleeping heart.
Take it out into the vast fields of Light
And let it breathe.
Say,
"Love,
Give me back my wings,
Lift me,
Lift me nearer."
Say to the sun and the moon,
Say to our dear Friend,
"I will take You up now, Beloved,
On that wonderful Dance You promised!"

It is never too late to honour something that has happened to you; whether it was yesterday, a year ago, ten years ago or more.
It is never too late to look at the threads that hold you back like tendrils of ivy.
-
If not acknowledged these moments of our lives will get heavier around the ankles and manifest in all sorts of ways.
-
If you want to go forward then often you need to acknowledge the parts of your life that have been hidden and concreted over from fear of further pain.
-
Look for what it is that is still nagging at your bones, the thing that is tender or ouchy when your heart and mind finds it hidden in you.
-
Nothing is silly, don’t let your inner critic take over & be hard on you, telling yourself that you are stupid and you should be over it. But don’t be too hard on your critic either, as it is just trying to keep you safe in it’s clumsy way.
-
Try not to stiffen your upper lip and padlock the gateway, if it’s tender or moves you it’s worth acknowledging.
-
Acknowledge how amazing you are to be sitting here now, having been through that journey, acknowledge how much it hurt you, acknowledge your part in it all, acknowledge the hidden blessing it brought, your gratitude for life and your sorrow for it too.
-
A beautiful way to do this is to go out into the woods and fields if you can and create a shrine or a mandala to you, to this moment that holds your heart back.
-
Gather petals, leaves, berries, sticks or whatever natural things you feel represent this time and build a shrine to you, to that moment in your life. Sweep the earth of pebbles, rocks and bark; creating a place in which to lay your things.
-
Honour yourself in all that you are, in all that you went through.
It is these moments of looking at the thorns in our hands that we can finally start to pull them out.
It is these moments, where we look at our soul, our inner child and vulnerable spots and say
“I see you, I hear you and I’m sorry. I love you, I honour you and I acknowledge the pain this brought me but now I turn that pain into medicine”
It is these moments that allows the body and soul the space to breathe out again, to sleep and to rest and to start to walk the souls medicine path.

“When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. I feel that to grow into wellness a person needs to come home.
Come home to the two places that are the only homes they have.
These two homes can be the most loyal and loving nooks to reside in and they go by the name of ‘Nature’- the nature that is outside of themselves and within themselves.
If you do not make friends and learn to love them then surely you are lost.
If you do not open your heart to those two places then how can you learn to truly heal when the two homes you inhabit are filled with hate, disconnection, loneliness and shame.
If you choose anything on your healing journey, choose homecoming.
To come back to your body with a great love for all that you are, walking through the junkyard of loathing, through the tattered front door and into the very centre of you knowing you will learn to love and repair every part of that beautiful home.
Love the place that you were born onto, this beautiful natural earth, for it is such a gift of wellness that offers you so much in the way of medicine and life even when you have pretended not to see it.
Don’t spend your life lost and afraid to come home.
For this will only lead to you searching within another’s soul for something you are missing, and you will never find it in the pockets of another.
Your home is calling you back, waiting to awaken you to your precious life.
Come home.

In response to flowergirl's post:Wow, very powerful words! Thank you for sharing this powerful message of home coming and connection between the 2 homes, the inner world and its connection to the outer world.
Beautiful.
Our greatest wealth is our inner wealth! I believe when we develop a relationship with our inner wealth, over time, our inner wealth becomes a very daily and very sacred place, where truth and possibility abound.
“Radical Acceptance is the ability to face hardships with greater love and deeper awareness.
Contemplation shapes radical acceptance as a way to choose love and peace over anger and despair.
Begin by finding this within ourselves before helping others.

Come here… right here.
Get closer… really close.
Can you feel my breath on your cheek? Yes? Good.
Now take off your clothes.
You heard me. All of them. Right now.
That cloak of self~deprecation? Gone.
That skirt made of long~held shame? Burn it.
Those too small shoes that you thought you needed to be beautiful? Garbage.
The pockets stuffed full of unspoken dreams? Empty them now.
That big old ugly sweater knitted from every hateful word you’ve ever absorbed? Fuck that shit.
It’s time to take off those clothes, dammit!
There you’ll stand. Without your armour.
Without talismans or amulets and everything you always wanted and thought for sure you needed to get by. All of it. Gone.
And there you are. Just you. Utterly, breathtakingly perfect. You’ve let it all go now, and aren’t you the beauty?
Just as you are. None of that stuff was necessary.
And yes, you want to run and hide. You’re cowering in preparation for the judgement and the cold air and the wash of shame that is sure to come.
Except… it doesn’t. The air is warm and the room is filled with nothing but Love. No judgement. No harsh words.
We are too awestruck by your beauty to even consider it.
We’re blown away by your courage and in awe of your strength. There you are, doing the very thing we know we should do but can’t quite make ourselves commit to.
And with the removal of all that did not serve, there is space cleared to call home what is already yours.
Call it home, darling, call it home.
You can dance by yourself whenever the music moves you.
You can read your poem to three hundred people even though your legs are shaking.
You can submit that novel that you poured your heart into, to the best publishing house in the country.
You can learn to sky dive, go back to school, birth your baby on your own terms, end your marriage, fall in love, raise your voice, speak your mind, invite the consequences of living your truest life.
It’s all yours for the taking.
It’s all yours for the taking.
And when you’re ready to get dressed again you’ll find only the finest fabrics; sheer, light and beautiful. In colours that make you shine from the inside out. And although you could choose to cover yourself again, you wouldn’t dream of it.
You’ve witnessed the magic of transparency and seen how crazy beautiful the world looks with your light shining on it.

There comes a day, somewhere in the middle of every woman’s life, when Mother Nature herself stands behind us and wraps her arms around our shoulders, whispering
“It’s time.”
“You have taken enough now. It’s time to stop growing up, stop growing older and start growing wiser – and wilder.
There are adventures still waiting on you and this time, you will enjoy them with the vision of wisdom and the companionship of hindsight, and you will really let go.
It’s time to stop the madness of comparison and the ridicule of schedule and conformity and start experiencing the joys that a life, free of containment and guilt, can bring.”
She will shake your shoulders gently and remind you that you’ve done your bit. You’ve given too much, cared too much, you’ve suffered too much.
You’ve bought the book as it were and worn the t-shirt.
Worse, you’ve worn the chains and carried the weight of a burden far too heavy for your shoulders.
“It’s time” she will say.
“Let it go, really let it go and feel the freedom of the fresh, clean spaces within you. Fill them with discovery, love and laughter. Fill yourself so full you will no longer fear what is ahead and instead you will greet each day with the excitement of a child.”
She will remind you that if you choose to stop caring what other people think of you and instead of caring what you think of you, that you will experience a new era of your life you never dreamed possible.
‘It’s time’ she will say…
“to write the ending, or new beginning, of your own story.”

Meditation, so I’ve heard, is best accomplished
if you entertain a certain strict posture.
Frankly, I prefer just to lounge under a tree.
So why should I think I could ever be successful?
Some days I fall asleep, or land in that
even better place — half asleep — where the world,
spring, summer, autumn, winter —
flies through my mind in its
hardy ascent and its uncompromising descent.
So I just lie like that, while distance and time
reveal their true attitudes: they never
heard of me, and never will, or ever need to.
Of course I wake up finally
thinking, how wonderful to be who I am,
made out of earth and water,
my own thoughts, my own fingerprints —
all that glorious, temporary stuff.

Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean-
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don't know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

"Well, you know, the mind is nothing.
The mind is only a bunch of thoughts.
Thoughts about the past and the future, that is all a mind is.
But, the Heart is a center of stillness,
of quietness,
of Absolute Peace.
When you rest your mind in your heart,
you feel a joy and a bliss that overwhelms you,
and you will Know.
Surrender your mind to your Heart,
and you will feel it."

She is Maiden, Mother and Crone
In one…
You will recognize her because she
makes genuine eye contact with whomever she meets…
She is not afraid to be direct and honest about how she feels
She charts her own course
And is willing to meet whatever comes
Because she has faith in her journey
She’s aware of her own strength
She delights in enabling the wellbeing and the empowerment of others
But she refuses to subject herself to energy drainers…
She sees through bullshit instantly
She knows how to protect herself
She is obedient to her own inner knowing,
She is willing to break the rules made by others
in order to be authentic to herself
Her truth comes directly through her heart
She uses her mind as the servant to manifest it
She is inwardly and outwardly aware
She responds more than she reacts
She no longer waters illusory drama
She no longer feels the need to control what is
She is deeply connected to her creative source
She is her own work of art in progress
She can create beauty from whatever is in front of her
She is in tune with her intuition and instinctual body
She lives in the present
Because she is willing to relinquish the past
And allow the future the space it needs to unfold
She understands that life is an ever changing flow from one moment to the next...
She willingly goes with it.
She feels deeply connected to the earth and stays close to nature,
She recognizes that she is not separate from it...
Being connected to nature is essential for her health and wellbeing
She has simplified her life
Released the non-essentials so that she can be spacious and free
She values her aloneness,
She waters her soul with it
But she also
values quality time with like minded souls
She doesn’t need a man to complete her
Her relationships are on an equal basis of respect and sharing
Unbridled sensual pleasure…
She has no time for gossip
She’s invested in raising the sisterhood up rather than cutting it down
She celebrates the beauty and power in other women
She celebrates the beauty and power within herself
She is just as willing to receive as she is to give
She fills her own cup for herself and overflows it for others
She understands the futility of unsolicited advice
So she shares her wisdom through living it
She envisions the healing of the world
She offers her gifts as a contribution towards it
Love is her religion
Unity is her gospel
Laughter is her grace
She loves to play through her inner child
Sing and dance through her inner maiden
She nurtures her body mind and spirit daily through her inner mother
Others seek her for her wisdom
Are irresistibly drawn to her unpredictable mystery
They feel seen and accepted in her steady gaze…
Peaceful in her sacred space
They are shocked by her irreverent humor
But secretly inspired, uplifted,
Given permission to be themselves
She is Maiden, Mother and Crone
In one
She is Goddess
~ Caroline de Lisser
May all who desire live into their full goddess selves.

I love this quote which I recently found
"Patchouli energy is very grounding, creates an affinity with the heartbeat of Mother Nature. It embodies the feeling of being cradled in her arms and immersed in the Earth's essence. Activates reverence for life, releases judgments, aligns us with Soul energy. — Deborah Eidson, Vibrational

"She is a Storyteller
Once upon a time
There was a girl.
She believed in magic
She believed she could be anything she wanted to be.
She believed she would grow up and that all of her dreams would come true.
She believed she would have love, be love and give love.
She never doubted that belief.
She never doubted herself.
She danced.
She sang.
She played.
She dressed up.
She laughed.
She cried.
She wore her heart in her smile.
Close your eyes.
You can hear her laughter.
You can see her joy.
You can remember.
Once upon a time,
There was a young lady.
She tried hard.
She did her best.
She followed the rules.
She did as she was led to believe was right.
She found love, fell in love and lost love too.
She built a wall.
She forgot.
She worked.
She fell down.
She made mistakes.
She lost her voice.
She lost herself.
She found it hard to smile.
Close your eyes.
You can feel her pain.
You know her suffering.
You know that feeling.
Once upon a time.
There was a woman.
She felt something.
She heard the call.
It took a long time
For the right words to come.
She listened to her heart.
She listened to her soul.
She listened to her intuition.
She began to trust in herself, in the future and in her story.
She started to believe again.
She started to believe that all of her dreams would come true.
She started to believe that she had the magic.
She started to remember that she was love, could have love and give love.
She started to believe in herself again.
She threw away the doubt.
She danced.
She sang.
She played.
She dressed up.
She laughed.
She cried.
She wore her heart in her smile.
Close your eyes.
You can hear her laughter
You can see her joy
You can feel it
You can remember.
This is not The End"

I believe in sensitive and kind men.
I believe in the mystical men who believe in themselves.
I believe in men who seek temperance and peace inside them.
I believe in men poets, dreamers, magicians, writers, alchemists, artists, teachers, and angels.
I believe in men who like to dance and sing and make life a celebration.
I believe in men who embrace their wounded inner child, listen to him and embrace him true.
I believe in men who want to heal and help others to heal.
I believe in men who refuse to be slaves to their own wound and that despite the pain, they clean it and heal it patiently, with love and courage.
I believe in men who come from the stars and remember the power of their wings, the power of their hands and the power of their heart.
I believe in men who know of intuition and use it as their compass.
I believe in men who share freedom because they are free and do not know another way to live.
I believe in the men protective of women's energy, who know how to read the look of their beloved and who do not intend to change it, simply accompany it wisely on their flight.
I believe in full men who don't need anything from outside because they already know that everything has it inside.
I believe in men who make fire when they are cold, that take refuge in water when they are thirsty.
I believe in men with truthful eyes they see themselves and that's why they love and respect every creature exists on earth.
I believe in men, perfectly imperfect, because it is in that imperfection is where they also find their beauty.
I believe in sensitive men who know how to receive and give love in balance, who listen and who also speak, those who live and let them live.
I believe in men who live sexuality as sacred, because they know that it is a wonderful gift.
I believe in men with clear feelings, which are accessible.
I believe in men who walk barefoot and speak to the plants.
I believe in the tender and wild men at the same time.
I believe in the sacred male and in all the divinity they have stood.
