share what you love.

New questions to consider in process:

1) What does it mean in terms of your own energy to be a Fresh New Creation?

2) Write a little letter entitled Dear Fresh New Present Moment.

3) I love fresh slates... Write about your own Preparation For A Brand New YOU (take as much of the old you'd like to retain(: ) write a story or a poem. It doesn’t matter , breathe fresh into it.

4) Release or take in anything you like. Its all up to you, its your fresh and new.

2) Write a little letter entitled Dear Fresh New Present Moment.

Dear Fresh New Moment, I want nothing more than to stay with you.

When I go to an older moment there are precious memories

and things I love to hang on to.

Though, Precious Present Moment,

I am starting to believe we have to recalibrate the past focus.

I can’t  adequately honor a memory as well as I can pay tribute to this present moment and all the good that I am being gifted with

So that is my goal - not to rid myself of yesterday … though to bring my love into today.

4) Release or take in anything you like. Its all up to you, its your fresh and new.

Most books I encounter express ‘it’s all about’ finding meaning and purpose again. When I was first reading this I felt - you must be kidding.

As silly as this sounded I never knew the involved ways that my entire life had intricately woven ways of meaning tied into 1 person.

I fought this my whole wedded life in effort to be ‘independent’. Maybe not fought… I loved marriage. In many ways my heart remains married.

When you choose a commitment such as marriage, you enter into a interdependence that allows for a purpose that can never fully understood until there is loss.

In terms of releasing… ‘It’s’ still too new to really comprehend releasing… Though obviously… this must be occurring…

to be continued

Write about your own Preparation For A Brand New YOU

Change

Safe inside the womb

I simply grew

No way to prepare

Day one

Breathing air

A simple life

Without a care

School starts

Unprepared

So I grew and grew

School was the life

I knew

Graduation came my way

Still unprepared for

Uncle Sam called my name

Vietnam Changed

The game

There was no way

To prepare

Constant killing

In the air

Typhoons, landslides, earthquakes

Shook the ground

Preparation not around

Marriage came

And children too

Thought prepared

But didn’t know

Changed my life

Very much so

Cancer struck wife

One day

She fought it

Year after year

No way to prepare

Approaching her final day

A brand new me

Soon to be

Life’s prepared me

For change

Is to be.

While the following passage is for after a soulmate passes, I wasn’t sure I should post it… Though it does pertain to hope because of who one is in a relationship built on loving reciprocity

Hope it’s okay I share:
Because you are a soulmate, you get which values really matter in life. You know how to cultivate friendship. You excel at companionship. You are well acquainted with the power of physical connection. You appreciate the joy of laughter. You know how to be vulnerable and have witnessed the transformative things that can happen when you open yourself to vulnerability. You’re good at kindness. You know how to see things through over the long haul. You persevere like nobody’s business. You’re a master at selflessness and sacrifice. You think of life as an adventure. You have borne witness to the power of rituals. And despite your loss, you understand what a privilege and honor it was to have experienced a soulmate relationship. You appreciate the gift of gratitude.

I am so sure that you have the capacity to succeed at your grief quest because the skills it will take are the same skills you mastered as a soulmate.

Hi Poppy,

Thank you for your writing.

Even though what you and your family are facing is a huge process, still, your words give me a sense of innocence and trust, even when dealing with a serious illness.

I always enjoy your writing. I wish you all of best; the best comfort. The best rest when you need it. And most of all, I send you all Love.

Welcome JGH, glad that this shift on the Happiness Meeting is inspirational to you, and looking forward to your share.

Of course anyone participating will be inspired in their own unique way, which is of course very good. We are all and always will be our own unique selves. Though what we all have in common, that I know that I know we are all love.

It is always a beautiful time to emphasize this.

We need our capacity to be the love we are to love one another and we so need this to progressively love ourselves thru a life as Poppy so courageously expressed to love ourselves thru everything we are unprepared for.

Thank you for posting this.

This is an excellent quote, I love that she distinguished "wholeheartedness" from "brokenheartedness," and  "engaging the world from a place of vulnerability and worthiness."

That is completely beautiful...

If everyone who read that, actually went with that, we could literally heal ourselves, heal one another and we could have something that we share, something in common that could be a gateway to bringing and spreading peace everywhere.

Spreading peace with impossibility.

Yes, suddenly, there is a door that opens wide, the capacity to deconstruct impossibility and propagate possibility with worthiness...

This is purely stunning.

This is purely Beautiful...

Uncompromisingly, unstoppably empowering and life healing...

I hope it’s Okay Poppy that I post another beautiful poem of yours which has added inspiration to my life:

Who Am I?

I am who I am
But who is that?
How can I know?
I just am me.

But who am I?

Well I am me, says I
But are you your body?
Partly I must be!
But there is more to me.

I am my mind!
Don’t you see?
My thoughts
Are surely mostly me.
But is there more to me?

I am my heart!
My loving spirit
Don’t you see?
I care for you
I care for me.
But there must be more to me?

My personality
Is who I am!
What else can there be?
It is all the stories that
Make up me.

But wait!
My friend and I
Are close as can be
We are very different
Miles and time apart
But connected at the heart!
We choose to be
Unique and the same.

Again I ask
Who am I?
My purpose
My talents, skills
My job is who I am.
Surely that must be.
I strive for excellence,
Even the mundane
Works for me!

When I’m very still
I see clearly
Who I am.
I am aware of all that is.
I am separate and a part.
I am here and now.
But my presence
Is fleeting.

So who am I?
If only I could see…
I’ve reduced myself
To be free to be me!

And lastly
There must be
One more thing that is me
It is the hardest thing for me to be
It is a thing only I can see…

Being fully aware
Of who I am.
Taking responsibility
For being me.
Doing the right thing
When no one sees.
Accepting no less than excellence.
Just being me!

I am who I am
But who is that?
How can I know?
I am just me.
