In response to handcraftedcollectibles’s comment: Oh I looked at your blog. It’s wonderful! And I love the circles with the affirming words.

I do illustrate an affirmation a day on my blog and I have a mailing list. I’ve been doing it for years. I grew up using affirmations and kind of got away from it for a while, then I met a girl who has an eating disorder. I mentor her. Her psychiatrist told me that if she did not change her defeatist attitude, that she would surely die. I suggested affirmations and we started using them every day. Her family, too, of course, and all the people that worked with her, including the doctor, who also started sharing them with a few other patients. Then some of my friends and family started asking for them and I started putting them on my blog. I have a mailing list, now. Just a little one, but people share them with each other. That makes me feel like I did a little something to help others, every day… and in the process, I’m helping myself, too, with these affirmations. I really need them.

Hi Sue, thank you so much! I thought I’d respond to you here so you’ll see it. I’ve been pretty ill until recently and haven’t been on much. I hope things are getting better for you - can’t imagine being stuck in my home any longer than these last couple years let alone to struggle for 30 with dizziness! It finally is getting better for me these last few weeks. I’ve stayed with listening to my affirmations to help me thru all of this, I think I may actually get to leave the house soon! Rebounding is a mini trampoline, the benefits are incredible for your body. You don’t have to use it much or very long which is good for someone like me with Fibromyalgia. I’ve not used it in some time since I’ve not been well. It’s good for circulation and excellent for kick starting the lymph system which is what cleans our bodies of all the garbage in it. Fun to use too, just don’t buy a cheap brand if you’re going to use it regularly as it’s too hard on your body if it isn’t well made. Sending prayers you way too and I sure hope you’re doing well :-)

Hi Sue, just looked at your site, I really like that! Such a great layout and affirmations! Very well done! I responded to you on my profile but you wouldn’t know that, don’t think there is a way for me to reply to you when it’s under my profile so it shows up here or maybe I just don’t know how! Hope all is going well with you :-)

Hi Sue, was talking to you on my profile again :-) Interesting link on your site, I watch the HFCS too, I try to keep things in moderation, especially with sugars and the HFCS. My treat is a glass of Dr Pepper every day, just don’t want to give that up! It’s the only soda I like, maybe someday they’ll follow some other companies and use something else. Hope all is going well with you! Jody
