I just watched the above 4 hour entertainment! Truly wonderful!!
Behind the scenes
It was amazing
Many musicians singing with unlikely artists doing unlikely song choices resulting in wonderful music! For ex., Mick doing his song Gimme Shelter with Fergie and U-2. U-2,Fergie, Mick Jagger
Excuse spelling, but here’s more entertainers who performed:
Bonnie Rait, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Simon and Garfunkle
,Bruce Springsteen, Tom Morello Billy Joel, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, BB King, Sting and Jeff Beck , and clip #2 same song Buddy Guy, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fergie, John Fogarty, Annie Lenox, The Kinks, Patti Smith, Dion, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Aretha Franklin, Annie Lenox , Jackson Browne, ZZ Top, Mettalica, Ozzie Osborne, and more

Bruce and Sam (of Sam and Dave) singing Hold on..I’m Coming and Soul Man

Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen -New York State of My Mind

Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen Born To Run
The Finale was another older Higher and Higher (your love lives me higher and higher) sung by everyone
or
better view and sound?

For those who enjoy that ol Rock n Roll and for those who aren’t as familiar with it, because it is too old (age wise), this thread is for you. It will take time to put it together, so hang in there with me..

Feel free to share or respond to any of it while I’m working on it(:

In response to jancydat’s post:
Yup! Pretty cool huh? Ya want to help me find whatever clips we can beyond the ones I located, to remind us how wonderful it was, every time we need a music boost.

It can be the artist, but not from that show too, if you can’t find it from The Special. If you have a moment…

I open this to others to do the same..It was an awesome show!

Like this one-with Mick and Bono as it was on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Listen if you will to..Stuck in a Moment

Or, If you’ve never heard this song, here is U2 singing it, where the lyrics are more clear-nice

Or this version

Guess you can tell I like this song(:

I’m not afraid
Of anything in this world
There’s nothing you can throw at me
That I haven’t already heard
I’m just trying to find
A decent melody
A song that I can sing
In my own company

I never thought you were a fool
But darling, look at you. Ooh.
You gotta stand up straight, carry your own weight
‘Cause tears are going nowhere baby

You’ve got to get yourself together
You’ve got stuck in a moment
And now you can’t get out of it
Don’t say that later will be better
Now you’re stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it

I will not forsake
The colors that you bring
The nights you filled with fireworks
They left you with nothing
I am still enchanted
By the light you brought to me
I listen through your ears
Through your eyes I can see

You are such a fool
To worry like you do.. Oh
I know it’s tough
And you can never get enough
Of what you don’t really need now
My, oh my

You’ve got to get yourself together
You’ve got stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it
Oh love, look at you now
You’ve got yourself stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it
Oh lord look at you now
You’ve got yourself stuck in a moment
And you cant gt out of it

I was unconscious, half asleep
The water is warm ‘til you discover how deep
I wasn’t jumping, for me it was a fall
It’s a long way down to nothing at all

You’ve got to get yourself together
You’ve got stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it
Don’t say that later will be better
Now you’re stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it

And if the night runs over
And if the day won’t last
And if your way should falter
Along this stony pass

It’s just a moment
This time will pass
