What is “right speech” and what is “wrong speech”? Tell me please. Is it kind of like a “hate crime”. You know how when you murder a person of your own race it’s just a “crime”, but when you murder someone of a different race it’s a “hate crime” – is it like that?
One thing I know for certain is that words are powerful things. They can be music to your ears or they can mortally wound. You are a _______! You are so ______”! So, what are you?
You know what else words can be? They can be hiding places! They can be camouflage! They can be masks! They can be toys too! They can be art!
What else can words be?
There is a wonderful audiobook I have called Positive Words, Powerful Results by Hal Urban. Lots of great stuff in there. A kind word at the right time to the right person lasts a lifetime. So does a negative comment!
