Slow and Steady Will Get the Job Done
This is the wonderful encouraging response I just received from Mad CookieMan toward my current goals.
How often does your impatience ride up on you like a wedgy? lol
We all know how we need have patience and flexibility when creating and following through on tasks/goals/and all the factors that lead up to our infamous results.
We all know we aren’t alone in working things out. Ever heard of the acronym for E.G.O.? Edging God Out.
This thread is all about honoring our processes to get what we say we want.

In response to laurie- worksout-daily&w/everything she’s got~ ~‘s post:
I hear ya Laurie!
I can be the most inpatient person in the world! With myself, with tasks, with everything. I tend to do things at 100mph and get a sense of satisfaction from it – like ticking a box ‘Job done!’….. but as we know, often haste makes waste.
I do believe that some of the best things are taken time and care over. I would be interested to see how this discussion turns out. I could certainly learn a few tips on how to SLOW DOWN!!!
A full and thankful heart..

I’m with ya, Anoushka..ticking off the infamous task/goal list is something big for me. And to be honest, I can bet it always will be. Though, awareness and patience for the process will add much balance..I believe.

This is it
(song removed…just reposted it)
I like to make music work for me. This is the part I like for my “purposes”
Stand up and fight
This is it
Make no mistake where you are
This is it
You’re going no further
This is it
Until it’s over and done
No one can tell you what you know
Who makes the choice of how it goes
It’s not up to me this time
You know
There comes a day in every life
This is it
Make no mistake where you are
This is it
You’re going no further
This is it
Until it’s over and done
This is it
One way or another
This is it
No one can tell what the future holds
This is it
Your back’s to the corner
This is it
You make the choice of how it goes
This is it
The waiting is over
This is it
No one can tell what the future holds
This is it

I LOVE that song, Laurie!

I love the slow and steady idea, though I’ve been stubborn about it. I didn’t realize I was getting impatient, and how wonderful your slogan was, until I started seeing results w/various baby steps I was taking.
So appreciative for you and the wonderful consistent great ideas here on this site of everyone!
