I haven’t watched all that many, but I saw one the other day that I liked. It may have been called “The Counterfitter” or something like that. It was set during WWII and it was about the Germans using Jews with expertise in printing and other relevant skills to counterfit the Pound and the Dollar. It was very good.

Pan’s Labyrinth was pretty powerful. It was a fantasy, but I don’t recommend it for your children though, it has some really graphic and brutal scenes.
