Off of work for healing, my mind, my body and my soul. Honestly, I’m in no hurry to return, and my massage therapist, who gets the “Mind Body Connection” knows I need quite a while, but insurance doesn’t recognize her existience. But that’s ok. My couselor and (oh how I’ll miss her) psychiatrist, have supported my short term disability thus far, and I believ it will be extended past mid next month. I need many months for healing, as it’s taken me 39 years to be who I am, and I accept who I am. I also believe that I can be more joyful, and return to my strong, powerful, admirable self.

Have fibromyalgia and chronic myofascial pain, but I will get better. Pain will always be my personal friend, but my body will better balance, better support, and better align my future. I have a fantastic “healing team” of both recognized, and non recognized, specialists. Recently found an another angel, who’s website those who are interested in is www.sover.net/~devstar. Myself, and many others, are so blessed to have found her, and learned so much from her website. This is all in thanks to my Osteopath (NOT a chiropractor) who is another angel I’ve been referred to by both my massage therapist and my physical therapit. I’m so thankful that my PT can now focus on my core body issues, one by one, so I can become stronger, healthier, and feeling more joyful to be alive, is hopes that, one day, I’ll begin to have days where I have no body pain, and it’s not because of the myriad of drugs.

Which is a great lead in to my Pain Management Dr. I have been promised that he will fill out whatever paperwork necessary to continue my leave of absence, should my “mind healing” team decide I’m ready to return to work. Sick, but insurance requires many games, and so I have to play them so I can heal.

Unbelievable that I just went off like this, but one of my best friends recommended this site, after our talk this evening. Wish I could see her soon, and so I will. Driving may be out of the question, as it takes about 6 hours to get to her, but I know I’ll see her again one day soon. And as much I may not be a fan of cell phones when I’m “on the salaried clock”, I do appreciate their existence, as there is much support via phones and computers.

Enough about me. I must listen to my body, which is telling me to get up, stretch, and possibly return to the site later.

BTW, I don’t Twitter, but it’s fine that you do. Just keeping up with my yahoo accounts and Facebook is more work then I ever imagined, but most of it is goodness.

THANK YOU HI-D!

Welcome to bMindful. Taking time off for yourself is an absolute must - especially if you need to heal yourself. When I had a tiny crisis, I had the luxury of a 3 month disability. This allowed me to evaluate my life and how I got to where I was and how I would get out of that place to a much better one. For me, it was leaving the company that I worked for the last ten years… and lots of good, quality therapy!! :)

May you find your desires!!
