Hello, everyone
Just sharing a thought. We often hear that “the good” is the enemy of “the best”, but, seeking “the best” can also be the enemy of “the good”. “The Best” is really an impossibility and we should not let a desire for something that is an ideal only stop us from taking action to attain “the good”. When we look at those two things – “the best” and “the good”, which one is easy to define and easy to get? Well, it is “the good”. It is easy to find the good in life if we want to, however, finding the elusive “best” is arguably impossible. Who knows what the best is? I don’t. We can all find good stuff. Seeking or settling only for the best can rob you of taking action. To me is it like keeping your life on hold while waiting for a lottery ticket to pay off.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
