★NEW YEAR 2009, whats in store

I would like to wish all you wonderful energies out there a Safe and Happy Festive Season. Thank you for all the updates and shared thoughts which have made me think and rethink my values and thoughts. There are some pretty awesome people which have connected through this site.
Special Thanks to Lee and Mel for making that happen.
Also with the New Year Approaching at the speed of light why don’t we have a 2009 thread for say 3 things we are working to achieve in the New Year and what we are feeling we achieved well last year. We can keep up with each other as the year progresses give each other encouragement and enjoy each others success’s.
If I am repeating someone else’s idea forgive me I thought I saw a New Years Resolution post But cant see it.
I have worked on my Clarity of mind again this year, relationships that are the most valuable and finding a strong and inspirational gym partner.
I feel I have achieved all 3 pretty well and they are becoming second nature especially my gym partner.
Next year will still include all 3 but I will be adding Time management Planning, and Business Building.
I would just like to leave you with this that was on the back of our financial planners Christmas Card.

The $20 Bill. Author unknown.
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?”

Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first, let me do this.”

He proceeded to crumple the $20 dollar bill up. He then asked, “who still wants it?”

Still the hands were up in the air.

Well, he replied, “what if I do this?”

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.

“Now who still wants it?”

Still the hands went into the air.

“My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson,” he said, “no matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.”

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened, or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless … and especially to those who love you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.

“You are special – Don’t EVER forget it.”

Count your blessings, not your problems.

Never be afraid to try something new.

If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring.

Love Life
Sue
