That’s a wonderful quote, I find that when I take ego out of the equation and focus on the joy of living all kinds of magical events occur, like love :)

“Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.” Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
I find that in nurturing the gifts of the spirit there is not only complete joy in the action but immense satisfaction and peace, a state of bliss.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realize how blessed you are for what you have.
a livelifehappy.com quote
It’s one of my absolute favorites. In regard to the idea assuming …my spirit feels fragmented when I assume without having all parts of something… whether it be about a person, place or a thing. This quote reminds me about my inner truth and what makes me truly happy.
In regard to do more At this time in my life… I am more compassionate with myself and with regard to my focus for living. There have been times when I saw the words do more feeling like too much…leading to lack of ease or overwhelm….. Because I enjoy doing what it takes…and didn’t need to hear those ideas./Today, it is pleasurable because my spirit is so much more in harmony with my actions…And do more today…simply means keep doing the next right thing…moving forward…from right where I am, and its good.
and realize how blessed you are for what you have -part …OMG this part moves me on a gratitude and appreciation rampage(:

Slow down. One of Gandhi’s most illuminating observations reminds us that there is more to life than increasing its speed. This is great advice for simplifying your life in fact, slow everything way down for a few moments right here and now. Slowly read these words. Slow your breathing down so that you’re aware of each inhalation and exhalation… Wayne Dyer

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
- Melody Beattie
“If you ever doubt the power of language, listen more closely. Witness the magic the first time someone whispers “i love you.” Watch a woman put on head phones, close her eyes, and have her life changed by a lyric. See a bad moment flipped upside down by a well timed joke. Words propel us, empower us, make us human and more than human. We constantly struggle to say what we mean and mean what we say. To “wrestle with words and meanings.” that’s what t.s. eliot calls it. But as we whisper and shout, stutter and spin, we create order out of the chaos around us. We are built of words, and we live by them, too.” ~-Hallmark

This talk makes sense, and it is helpful to in the context that "I'm not the only person in the single boat" he didn't quite list the many advantages of being single. And the probability of the paradox, that accepting being single and not seeing it as bad or negative, you have a good chance of a relationship finding you, so in a sense you give yourself a win win scenario. It's ok to be single even though I would welcome a friendship with benefits if that happened out of nowhere.
