For those that haven’t formerly met me, my name is ‘Poppy’. I like positive, open, and honest discussions on a variety of topics. As time goes by I will add what I enjoy (generally and more specific)…
I like that Bmindful is getting a fresh new feel, and I appreciate our ideas being respected and thoughtfully considered. I will be back to share as things come to me. I would really like it if you’d join me here on my new 2016 thread. Just a thought. Now yours.

One of the things I really enjoy is photography. I retired a few years back and one of the first things I did besides throwing away my alarm clock was to purchase a digital camera. It was a good one, not the best, but a really good one. I have hardly spent a single day since without taking a picture of something. It has developed into a real passion of mine. It allows me to see beauty in everything. And I can be as creative as I like with editing. Photography brings me hours and hours of happy times. If you don’t have a passion, a driving force to enjoy, then think about what you would do if you were retired and what would your bucket list look like? Then carve out as much time as you can to enjoy yourself and develop your passion—-just because you can!
Who else has a passion that they love? Please share.

I think I really understand your wanting to enjoy life as much as you can from moment to moment, and that being enough. But is there something that you really find enjoyable enough that you could want to do it every day and lose yourself in that activity. For instance with my photography, I could spend hours and hours every day trying to get that perfect picture. I forget about eating, what time it is and I am totally absorbed in shooting pictures that I am transported to another universe and I find myself wanting to sleep just long enough to start again the next morning.

One passion of mine is organizing inspiration. I enjoy a variety of things which inspire me. And like many of us… inspirations and the order of them will change. As I create & organize …the more my momentum for being overall totally inspired… just seems to grow exponentially. The more of a personal touch I add to what I enjoy…the more I enjoy.
I do this in a variety of ways… … -> to be continued… (:

Ah ha! Now I know how you always have the perfect inspirational link for everything. And I just though you searched for 50 hours a day and read until your eyes bled.

I believe there was a compliment in there…though that lil’ visual doesn’t sound very fun… lol(:
I will be back to share. As I started to think about these things I enjoy …that involved organized inspiration…it made me joyous…knowing I can pinpoint it to repeat it… I even recall some early childhood figures in my life that helped me know its okay to create …create create… & do things for learning…giving….sharing…being… joy of it(:
I learned early on …life …was about being …from the heart…
The process I’m referring to …is my connection to my heart.
The thoughts/feelings of this passionate-ability… reminded me of 2-3 of my favorite jobs in my life…and the kind of work I’d hope to be doing just a bit down the road …when I’m retired. It even reminded me of my less favorite jobs and part of the reason I always found reward.
… … -> to be continued… (:
