★The Perfect Human

The Perfect Human

The Perfect Human by Jørgen Leth. Said to be one of the finest short films of all time and perhaps one of the finest films of any length.

I found it very interesting, and thought you might get something out of it too!

Thanks for sharing that Lee.

It was a moment of mindfulness on what we focus on; our individual parts, our mannerisms, our relating w/others, our trying to figure out things, wanting to hang on to what brings us joy, reminiscing in our minds what joy was and the experience of it, gratitude, trying to figure out our endless self, and starting again.

It was wonderful. Thank you(:

This link Lee posted in 2009, was missing from the intro post

found it elsewhere in full ***The Perfect Human***

Thought others would like to see this too as it was originally posted(:

The Perfect Human (Danish: Det perfekte menneske) is a 1967 short film by Jørgen Leth lasting 13 minutes. It depicts a man and a woman, both labelled ‘the perfect human’ in a detached manner, ‘functioning’ in a white boundless room, as though they were subjects in a zoo.

The film was later seen in five different versions when Leth was challenged by filmmaker Lars von Trier, which were compiled in The Five Obstructions. wikipedia
