Have any bmindfullers moved house to a very different area ?
We live in a industrial ,rough town in England and are considering moving to the Isle Of Skye in Scotland
It is a big decision ,especially as a single parent .My eldest son has applied to join the R A F and thinks it would be perfect for us ,my younger son and daughter love the idea .
None of us like it here and want to live in a safer ,quieter place where there is a community and where you feel safe to go out
We are saving up to go there for a few days later on in the year and would be moving next spring
this is where we are looking at moving to
discovering Skye
Isle of Skye
FG, I think you’ll love it. I’ll best most of us would prefer a place like that to some rough, hard town. I went to the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Mann many years ago and can honestly say that there is a very mystical quality in that part of the world. It’s been a while, but I remember a place called Oban too. When you travel through those places send me a mental postcard and a thought – “my friend, Jeff, saw this with his eyes too”.

aw thanks Jeff ,we feel like aliens living here .
My Mum loved the Isle of Man ,isn’t there a bridge where you have to say Hello to the fairies !
When we go I will definatly send you a mental postcard .It looks so special .Did you come to England ?
I lived in London for about a year many moons ago. I got to do and see lots of stuff over there. Actually, I lived across the street from the London Museum, where they keep the Rosetta Stone. I went as far north as Culrain. If you look at a map of England, Culrain is as the very tip top.
I said London Museum, I think it’s technically called the British Museum.

In response to Smart_Routines_With_Enthusiasm’s post:
London is quite a place isn’t it .I lived there when I worked as a nanny for a few months years ago .It was near Earls Court ,just off Kensington high street .I was homesick for the north .
You went from one end of the country to another .
I never got down to Dover, though. It would have been neat to see the cliffs.
Here are a couple of songs for ya’.

Cliffs of Dover
