Sometimes I feel like I’m going the wrong way. I forget things I think I’ve learned, which tells me I haven’t really learned what I thought I’d learned. It occurred to me a few minutes ago that I often think – not in these exact words, but – If I achieve “blank” I’ll finally approve of myself. That is backwards, isn’t it. First I have to approve of myself and THEN I can get what I want.

I’m sure there is a thread on here somewhere about “self-esteem”, but maybe we could discuss that a little bit here on this thread. I talked about this a little the other day. Your level of self-esteem leads dictates your level of self-confidence which leads to… you see where I’m going. I’d appreciate your thoughts on self-esteem and loving yourself. Any favorite affirmations to build self-esteem?
