today is Earth Day

and it is a reminder of how much we need to care for our planet that we are so lucky to live on .

I have started decluttering our home and have bags for recycling paper ,ink cartridges,energy saving lightbulbs,batteries,plastic bags as well as charity shop bags .

There is also a small amount of stuff I can’t recycle myself and will be finding rubbish collectors who do recycle .

I have decided from now on before I buy anything I will ask myself “ if I buy this and then in the future do not need it ,can it be recyled? If the answer is no I won’t buy it .
