When we die, do we wake up to our true self?

Are our name or labels and this body (the way we identify ourselves in this physical world) just a dream our spiritual selves chose to have?

Is to die, to wake up?

I sometimes concern myself with losing who I am when I die. If our souls don’t die, then when we wake up from this physical dream, will I still know who I am? From where I sit now, I feel saddened by this notion, not knowing who “I” was or who my family and friends were. However, once we do ‘wake up’ from this dream will we laugh at that same notion and realize that this wasn’t us after all? When we are our spiritual self, will we remember this life? Have we lived in the physical world many times? When I wake up as a spiritual being will I be conscious of many such physical dreams – many lives that I have lived – previous lives lived on many planets or different universes and in many different forms?

It was just something that I woke up thinking about.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

Very cool thinking..

It seems no matter which scenario you’ve brought up..sounds fine.

  • if you don’t remember..you won’t remember
  • if it wasn’t the real you..you will be given the real you..which will probably encompass a greater whole than the parts you thought you were
  • And if you aren’t conscious of something..will be hard to miss..

Though.. wherever you are and whatever happens you were most likely created with Great purpose..and since you are a co-creator and not The Creator you are always where you are supposed to be.

And probably like waking up from any dream ..good or bad..you will say wow! to something..and be grateful that you are where you are when you wake from whatever you wake from..

We always want to know more than we do..and if we do..that’ll be great.
And if we don’t ..maybe we will be happy that ignorance is bliss.
just thinking..as I wake this morning from your lovely triggers for my thinking. Good morning MCM (smiles)

I choose to find gladness where I can..and hang on to what is in my consciousness now..if it is enhanced..great. If it is gone..I hope I give it meaning while I’m able..and am present enough to do that.

Thanks for the spiritual exercise

BE YOU
