Let’s talk about an experience you’ve had with mindfulness that has brought you to a ‘greater’ place?
BE YOU
I have been struggling on my own not only to create a greater place within myself, my health, mind and spirit , but within my family as well. It’s difficult for those around me to understand and realize I am serious. With out their like minded support it hasn’t been easy. I’m grateful for this site as it is what I need right now in my life.
In response to DorothyMarie’s post:
I don’t know your specific experience..and of course can only speak in terms of my own..though this is what I have learned:
Focus on yourself like you are a world class athlete who is always in training. And know life is not a dress rehearsal:hence mindfulness(:
Like anything it is up to you how joyful and disciplined you make it..
If you are serious about creating change, ask yourself what does this involve for you. Ask it like it matters. In the beginning like an athlete.. routines if you are just beginning might feel awkward or even difficult. Though like all things that you learn about and do routinely get better and better like exercising..like when you began riding your 1st bike..etc. Though like riding the bike..one day you will do more than just stay on ..and just ride in familiar territory..than..you will use your experience of knowing it might not feel like something you do without a bit of training your mind and habits..but you will get there..
Though ask the questions..and remember you are only human..and you are not alone(:
BE YOU
