♥`•.¸¸.•´´•:´¨`:•.••.¸¸. ´´¯`•♥What is spirituality by Audrey Marlene[life coach]-: According to Webster’s dictionary spirituality means having the nature of spirit; affecting the soul; from or relating to God
Spirituality is an individual connection with a power greater than us. When we allow our minds to move beyond our everyday responsibilities, our struggles, and our worries to a place of peace and enlightenment, we begin to discover the magnificence within us
As we become more aware of our inner radiance, a transformation begins to take place in our lives. A feeling of tranquility and harmony occupies our core creating a more spiritual being. As we become more spiritual we will strive to do good, to be good, and to help others to achieve that goodness. This goodness within frees us from our fears, allowing us the ability to make positive changes in our lives
Spirituality allows you an abundance of courage to take on life and its challenges. It drives away fear and gives you the tenacity to make fearless, wholesome decisions in life. It supports your level of faith, which gives you more optimism for the future
It promotes improved physical and psychological health. Spirituality moves the mind and body into a restful, peaceful state where stress can be more readily released and positive energies can flow. It promotes stronger immune systems and minimal stress responses with normal activation of the sympathetic nervous system
As your life is transformed, you will feel more balanced, centered, happier, and more accomplished. More positive thinking will ensue. Your life will soar to heights you have never imagined ˚ ✰。˚ ˚ღ。 ˛˚ 。✰˚* ˚ ★ღ ˚ 。✰

No amount of anxiety

to anything that is going
to happen." ~ Alan Watts
"By replacing fear of the unknown with curiosity we open ourselves up to an infinite stream of possibility. We can let fear rule our lives or we can become childlike with curiosity, pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zones, and accepting what life puts before us." ~ Alan Watts
"This is the real secret of life -- to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play." ~ Alan Watts
"Stop measuring days by degree of productivity and start experiencing them by degree of presence." ~ Alan Watts
elders serve as conduits between the divine realm and the mundane world, making the abstract truths of spirituality accessible to the community by embodying them in their everyday behavior.

"Dialogue does not happen
when we are adversaries." ~
Zalman Schachter-Shalomi
Faith is what I call a mind-move,
a radical shift in awareness.
The expression 'a leap of faith' is so true.
Faith is not something we can arrive at by a careful, step-by-step process.
It is not something we can square with our intellect.
Faith does not make sense, nor does it feel safe.
It is what takes us further after the questions that can be answered logically have been exhausted.
To have faith, we must let go.
Faith is like swimming the backstroke,
reaching above and behind is into an unknown we cannot see. Faith is like driving forward with only the rearview mirror as a guide."

"All great spirituality is about what we do with our pain. If we do not transform our pain, we will transmit it to those around us." ~ Richard Rohr
Pain that is not
transformed is transmitted

“Lao-Tsu’s Peace Prayer”
If there is to be peace in the world,
There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
There must be peace between neighbors.
If there is to be peace between neighbors,
There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
There must be peace in the heart.
- ►• THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRAYER ANDAFFIRMATION
Affirmations and prayer are similar. In prayer, we seek help from our Higher Power. An affirmation is a statement of the prayer as though the result is already accomplished. For example, one might pray, “Lord, grant me even-mindedness under all conditions.” The corresponding affirmation would be, “I am even-minded under all conditions.”
Those who understand themselves to be co-creators and cooperators with their Higher Power can combine the use of prayer and affirmation. For example, it has often been said that God helps those who help themselves. When we work with affirmations, we are helping ourselves. Prayer is the request for God’s grace as a means of getting help with the problem.

Love is expansive by nature.
At some point, it cannot contain itself. It breaks into a higher state of consciousness commonly known as Divine Love, ecstasy, nirvana, or bliss. Kind and compassionate service to all of humanity is the natural product of this exalted state of consciousness.
- Life is school
- Pain is the teacher if we open to the lessons.
- The lessons always have to do with the cultivation of healing qualities adding up to love.
- Love is the Great Healer and the Great Pain Manager.
- It is more powerful than any painful problem.
- Hold love and pain in the same space with a method.
- Watch the love-pain dance manifest in an unlimited variety of ways.
- Love will contain, reduce, or eliminate your pain or guide you through what is left.
- Love wins in the end but not on our schedule.
- The story of life is the triumph of love over pain.
All you have to do is find a problem, practice a method, and cultivate a quality. This is called rolling the universal healing wheel or practicing PMQ: problem–method–quality. When we roll the wheel, we put into action the ultimate principle of spiritual healing: the triumph of love over pain. Healing Power goes into the dynamics of the universal healing wheel in great detail. It will show you how the healing wheel works in both simple and complex exercises. But however far ranging, deep, and complex it gets, it always comes down to the triumph of love over pain.
This seems simple and it is, but it is not easy. The love-pain dance is tricky, difficult, and takes time to understand. However, if you persist and don’t jump ship on your pain with a destructive pain killing device, you will see that love is the great healer and the great pain manager. It is always more powerful than any painful problem. It will always contain, reduce, or eliminate your pain or guide you through what is left. Love wins in the end but not on our schedule.
The universal healing wheel is the vehicle for manifesting love in the daily grind. With any pain, fifteen methods, and one hundred qualities to choose from, the wheel has unlimited creative potential. It is like a palette of colors. You paint your own picture.
