I feel as if something is wrong with life… that something needs to tweaked or corrected in order to make it perfect. Is this negative thinking on my part? Or is this the first step to self-development?
What kind of perfection do you think you are referring to?

I believe we sometimes simply want “too much”. We forget how fortunate we are ..until life takes a turn and reminds us. I have always loved the saying you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
I believe people forget how great it is..who are healthy…until one day they are not. I believe people forget how great it is who are employed …until one day they are not.
You can always work on bettering your self and circumstances, though gratitude and acceptance are key in life.
Stay clear on what it exists,and find whats good about it. Stay clear about what you want, and listen to audio tapes to learn how to take baby steps, and leaps to get exactly what you say you want..or do the same thing to begin finding out what you want. What do you think?

The first step to self development is believing you deserve to do great things for yourself,to get your healthy needs and desires met.
It is not just about feeling deserving. In my opinion when people take on the deserving-stance ..alone, they often think they can sit back and watch life unfold and do little to make it happen.
If you feel deserving in the world and you involve yourself with doing the footwork, your confidence and your life will never stop getting better.
