BE YOU
THOUGHTS ARE FRIENDS
"Thoughts are friends, not enemies. They’re just what is. They appear. They’re innocent. We’re not doing them. They’re not personal. They’re like the breeze or the raindrops falling. Thoughts arise like that, and we can make friends with them. Would you argue with a raindrop? Raindrops aren’t personal, and neither are thoughts. It’s the meaning you attach to those thoughts that you think is personal." ~ Byron Katie

BE YOU
Why do we sometimes feel we have to know what everything means? If we don't know something that is too often a gift. It’s a gift to stand back and allow life to grow in its meaning. When we look at the sky are we angry when we can't see the whole sky? When we have an idea -is that reason to be upset that the whole idea has not yet shown itself? Be patient. Live, Love and repeat. All is happening in Gods speed and the unfamiliar isnt a curse- its an opportunity.

"Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional," this quote is attributed to three people: the Dalai Lama, Haruki Murakami and Kathleen Casey.
Its a very empowering quote, especially if you find yourself in the middle of suffering and you can't find the way out.
What Buddha said about suffering:
In Buddha's first sermon, he talked about "The Four Noble Truths."
He discussed the nature of attachment, desire and delusion and he described how to overcome the grip of suffering.

I was feeling pain. I know pain is normal... especially when something or someone has been ripped out of your world. I gave the quote:Pain is Inevitable Suffering is Optional a place in my spirit My heart guided me to a series of affirmations and my suffering has been shifted / energy rearranged if you will. It is my view -'we' get stuck on the familiar & the 'logical' Logic has a place... and familiarity sure can be comfortable. Though, letting go and allowing the uncertainty with the belief in the Supernatural more - I choose to call God is absolutely amazing. I have been very tired lately w/good reason - I made a conscious decision today to take real rest breaks all day in between my other activities. Wow! That was sensational too. 4 steps to creating habits of self care:

The following is a quote taken from online quotes from: An essential introduction to Buddhism.
The Four Noble Truths:
One: Suffering exists. Life is suffering. Suffering is real and universal. Suffering has many causes: loss, sickness, pain, failure, and the impermanence of pleasure.
Two: There is a cause of suffering. Suffering is due to attachment. It is the desire to have and control things. It can take many forms: craving of sensual pleasures; the desire for fame; the desire to avoid unpleasant sensations, like fear, anger or jealousy.
Three: There is an end to suffering. Attachment can be overcome. Suffering senses with the final liberation of Nirvana. The mind experiences complete freedom, liberation and non-attachment.It lets go of any desire or craving.
Four: In order to. end suffering, follow the eightfold path.
