From my perspective; to transcend or ( go beyond ) things it requires at least one factor .
Disregarding news and spoon fed propaganda to detach from that, is not easy but necessary.
In other words well before the industrialized and cyber revolution, what Jesus advised then he would agree even more so today of course.

He didn't add because "you simply have no way to separate what if anything has any merit or truth'
I added that obviously.

I definitely like that ‘wear the world like a loose fitting garment’ … I relate.
In regard to the ‘no way’ .. to me, that’s where prayer comes in. I believe we really do receive responses.. when we stay out of our way long enough and for the most uncertain of things … there is enough completeness from surrendering to allow us to live a moment at a time , day at a time and often a light at the end of the tunnel toward the infamous future. That’s my take anyway.
