Listening
Sometimes
I listen
left ear
right ear
Sometimes
I hear
Top head
Sound colliding
Drawing down
Through body
Sometimes
I feel
Twinkling stars
Shooting
Through
Fingers
Toes
Sometimes
Nothing happens
Sometimes
Mind
Expands
Contracts
Sometimes
Alone
Sometimes
Together
Sometimes
Mostly unknown
Sometimes
Times
Long ago
Always
Tomorrow
Comes
Be Safe
Words are like seeds. When you write them out, they grow into your dreams and spark the imagination of others.

Thank you for posting this!
“Radical Acceptance is the ability to face hardships with greater love and deeper awareness.
Contemplation shapes radical acceptance as a way to choose love and peace over anger and despair.
Begin by finding this within ourselves before helping others.

Love this thread! Excellent topic!
Use your imagination & create:
Recently I played an old Simon and Garfunkel CD, and I grabbed on to some lyrics that I've likely heard hunfreds of times, long ago.
But this time felt like the first time. In fact, I never felt this words/lyrics quite like I do today. And, the music is acoustic and its sweet and thoughtful...
I was blown away by the language of the lyrics. The song is "American tune."
After I got back home, I Google on the lyrics and listened to the song on youtube.
I used parts of the lyrics that, to me, were very strong, like healing strength. Check out the first three to four verses...
"Many's the time I've been mistaken, and many times confused
Yes and I've often felt forsaken, and certainly misused
Ah but I'm alright, I'm alright, I'm just weary through my bones
Still you don't expect to be bright and bon-vivant
So far away from home, so far away from home
And I don't know a soul who's not been battered
I don't have a friend who feels at ease
I don't know a dream that's not been shattered or driven to its knees
But it's alright, it's alright, for we live so well, so long
Still, when I think of the road we're traveling on
I wonder what's gone wrong, I can't help it I wonder what's gone wrong
And I dreamed I was dying, I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly
And looking back down at me, smiled reassuringly
And I dreamed I was flying, and high up above my eyes could clearly see
The statue of liberty, sailing away to sea, and I dreamed I was flying
But we come on a ship they called Mayflower
We come on a ship that sailed the moon..."
These lyrics are are just timeless -- and universal.
I used these lyrics to speak into where I am in my life, at the time of the COVID pandemic...
I look back at the year that Simon and Garfunkel wrote this song: google states it was the third silgle from their third album. 1973... Viet Nam was raging. Nixon was in office... The youth in American society were demonstrating against the Viet nam war. Racial injustice that was making news in the 1960's and early 1970's...
There was a social revolution/evolution from the late 1960's. Rock and roll, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones....
Now, in 2020, just comparing where we are. The these lyrics are stunningly perfect for this day, forty five years after these words words were put to beautiful, loving, thoughtful accoustic music...
Very powerful song of healing...
It brought peace and understanding at a time when it was needed most!

I believe when we are looking for a better way... healing versus 'falling apart;
creating versus stuck, the 'good' news versus all the 'bad.... we begin to find it!
I love the healing power that has come your way!
