A member recently asked about Bmindful's capability of Facebook videos on our forum. Well Bunique had this to say:
Vimeo support should be working but I couldn't add Facebook video support. The way Facebook wants videos embedded requires too many permissions for a public forum and would allow spammers / hackers to add code that could damage people's computers. For that reason we can't add Facebook support for the time being but hopefully they will change their embedding snippet or someone will create an alternative way which is safer. It's not that Facebook video is unsafe. It is that opening the allowed tags that Facebook uses would be too open for a public forum and the risk would be too high.
The good news is Bunique continues to look out so well for our community...
when Facebook capability is available you will have this.
