Unlike most therapists out there I do have a wide range of life skills and experiences, I have lived, been married, raised children, been divorced, been poor, comfortable, and very wealthy. Employed, self employed and been trapped in jobs for awhile that I did not enjoy.
I have had to use my skills in hypnosis and NLP in the real world and in real life. Not just in the training room.
I have also been doing this since 1991 and I am still in a successful private practice, so unlike most I will still be here in 10 years. I often get clients who want to return to a hypnotist they saw 4 years ago, but they are no longer in business.
My interest in our minds and hypnosis started at an early age. From the age of eight I started to read and study mind systems and around this time started to hypnotise friends at school. Therefore, it would be true to say I have been hypnotising people since then.
I qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist in 1991 with Neil French and The International Association of Hypnoanalysis (IAH) and started my private practice in this year. The same year I was fortunate enough to be taken under the wing of Internationally acclaimed hypno therapist Duncan McColl of Pilgrim Tapes. Who has continued to teach and guide me.
I have developed a reputation for assisting other hypnotherapists and working with the more unusually and difficult cases we experience. I continue to practice and develop my hypnotic skills on a daily basis.
In 1997 I became a Neuro Linguistic Programmer and later became a Certified Trainer for Dr Richard Bandler.
I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best trainers and practitioners of hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
In response to paulhypnosis’s comment: Nice site(:
I’m a student of the trans-por method. Something I had learned in the 70’s from a place that no longer exists. The gentleman than owned the establishment was quite big in the field as well.
I also feel fortunate to know what we can do with our minds(:
