Enjoying your post! For this moment, the one that I enjoyed the most, and put a smile on my face was #15,“Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry; God never blinks.”

Got my wonder: Am looking at the bright bright moon with a pink cloud close to it :-)

…what a wonderful world….

This is perfect Godscreation! Thankyou so much for sharing. These are similar to some books that I have called Lifes Little Instruction Book volume 1 and 2.

“Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is great Gods creation – and truly wise words.
I love no.11 – Something I have to work on daily.

no. 13 and 29 – so true. Why waste time comparing or belieiving you know what others think of you – its far less damaging on yourself to live and let live and dont worry about what you dont know!

no.21 – because we should make each day count.

no.39 and no 43- just do it! At end of the day you will always have more to smile about than if you didnt even try! Bravery and fearlessness have far more rewarding consequences, even if you do fail, you tried!

Thanks for sharing this.
May blessings fall upon you for making me stop and think for a moment. I love this site so much because of moments like this!

Blessings to you all,

…this thread was created in 2009…and enjoyed it then & enjoy it today(:

  1. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.
  2. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about

These 2 ideas (among many listed) have been favorites of mine. It is a known concept…we’d like to know how we fit in…and for myself…we’re a fit as long as we believe we are.

Many determine their worth and their conflicts utilizing the abilities and challenges of others as their ruler. Yes, there will be times (for example with various types of employment) what others do create our rank with expertise and performance raises. Though, it is my firm belief when we focus on bringing ‘our best’ to the table…we bring our unique special gifts, and those gifts and being ones best is the ticket…

When we decide we aren’t where we ‘should’ be…it is my hope: may it be known our ruler/progression is measured from where we were standing before…not where we believe someone else stands. We can learn from others;though we strive only to be a better version of ourselves.

“To boldly and or vulnerably go where no one has gone before”

Keep it simple.
First things first.
Let go and let god.
Live and let live.
To thy own self be true.

Some thoughts on goals and dreams.
Something to consider is this,a goal achieved can be anything that
you aspire towards,it could be as simple as overcoming or putting any
kind of addiction into remission. That makes you a success,or having
a bond with your children that’s healthy and rewarding. That also
makes you successful.
Larger goals of being a writer or owning a business or becoming
a pro athlete,are also attainable.
In other words doing something grandious like being a film star
has its perks, but most celebrities would probably say fame and fortune
does not guarantee success or happiness, and most would say believe it
or not they have challenges and issues also.
So all I am saying is,a simple life achieving several mini goals
can be a recipe for success, and you can aim for more extravagant goals
if inspired to do so.Sometimes the only person that will say good things about you is yourself.A similar quote from Sugar Ray Robinson
a former prize fighter,“you may find it necessary to believe in yourself, when nobody else will” M V

A FEW THOUGHTS.
Somebody said when we share or post something,in many instances we are
doing so because it is a helpful reminder to ourselves, and potentially
to someone else.
With respect to motivational videos, that are meant to inspire.
Very often the person will be talking about pain and perserverence
and the video is usually some physical or athletic drama.
Most people including myself are not aspirering athletes, who’s main goal
is to make it into pro sports, the NBA,MLB,NFL,NHL,or something
of that nature.
Having said that, the purpose of the motivational video is to inspire
you intellectually,emotionally,spiritually and so on.
The video is not meant to be perceived as achieving some physical goal
unless you are actually aspiring towards an athletic career.
The main purpose of the video is to inspirer your thinking.

Thought about making my own list of 45 rules to live by.

Then I said naaaaa I ain't got time for all this.

So I said to myself I'll just go buy a "45"

I figure just as good as a bunch of words and less thinking.

“To boldly and or vulnerably go where no one has gone before”

i have read so many qoutes that i can’t even remember how many of them, but these qoutes makes me feel good :)

4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

- no matter how hard you work, in the end, family still matters.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

- life is so short to worry yourself you don’t have control to.
