First when making your juices or smoothies it is a good idea to use all organic fruits and vegetables. If you do not have a store to buy organic produce then put them in a large container or sink and cover them with water and add a little vinegar to the water. Wait 30 minutes then rinse them out.

Smoothies for diabetes:

Ingredients:

1 pad of a Prickly Pear Cactus
2 ribs celery
1 cup milk

When preparing the pads be very careful! They have fine thorns on them that you cannot see but really feel!!! I use plastic gloves and a sharp knife and scrape off the thorns. Then scrape off what’s left with a plastic scouring pad. Be sure to have your gloves on. About that time the Cactus starts to ooze a clear liquid smilar to okra. That’s the healthy stuff. Blend all ingredients together and it turns like a big foamy shake.

This smoothie helps to control diabetes. It also raises good cholestrol.

High Blood Pressure;

2 medium tomatoes
4 ribs celery
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
5 shots tabasco sauce

Blend all ingredients together and drink one cup of it. This will lower your blood pressure about 20 points. You can save the rest and drink the rest before you go to sleep.

Ginger-Watermelon smoothie Helps lower blood pressure too.

Ingredients:

1 cup Watermelon Flesh cut up
4 oz Natural yoghurt
1 tbsp agave syrup, to taste
1 teasp Ginger
2-4 Ice Cubes, cracked

Instructions

Place all of the Ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

STAY YOUNG SMOOTHIE (All should be organic)If you can’t it is still healthy.

1/2 cup frozen organic bluberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup chilled green tea, unsweetened
3/4 cup plain low fat yogurt or non GMO Soy
2 TBS ground flaxseed
Agave syrup to taste.

Blend altogether and enjoy!
