SweetStrongSoul Responds To Positive Affirmation #14798

2010-01-28 - SweetStrongSoul Says:

I added this one to help keep things in perspective in my interactions in my relationships. We all go through many different things in our lives. Sometimes we can relate to someone else’s experience. Sometimes, we haven’t the faintest idea of what they must be feeling because we don’t have any sort of paradigm for what they are going through. But just because we don’t understand what someone is feeling, doesn’t mean we don’t care about what they are feeling.

I forget that when I am this way for other people, they are oftentimes the same way for me. It’s a reminder to me to not conflate misunderstanding with not caring.
