I am a single 30 something from Maine who has been on a rollercoaster of a journey. I have days where I am on top of the world, and then days where I can hardly face myself. All my life this has been the case. In the recent years (2 ish) I have been on a journey to find who I am. The success I have found so far, is that I am a continuous work in progress. I will say that we all use the word “work” as part of our process. I often say as I just did, “I am working on this or that about me” I often forget that this is a word that often creates an illusion of difficulty. I offer this from the beginning, Let Us All “Play” instead of “Work”. Instead of “I am working on being more loving to myself”, replace with “I like to “Play” with the ideas that are more loving to myself”. Louise Hay is a remarkable resource for Affirmations, and for realizing how the tone of our self-talk is paramount in the way we hear. All thoughts are affirmations. Some may have a negative tone and some may have positive tone, isn’t it lovely that we can chose.
