I live in Grand Forks, BC. I am proud to call this beautiful Sunshine Valley my home. Grand Forks is on the US border of Washington State and therefore called Boundary Country and boasts the convergence of two rivers, The Kettle and The Granby. I lived here 28 years ago when I was 14 and I attended the high school here. When I left then, April Wine was playing at the school dance. When I arrived back in town two years ago in July, April Wine was playing at The Freedom Festival here. I just love it when I’m shown how things are meant to be. I live with my hubby of 13 years and our Callico cat, Punkin’. I write for a local bi-monthly newsletter in town. In my spare time, I sing and play drums, I love to craft; I seek things in nature to bring home and add to, to create something unique. I love graphic design and I love photography, music, reading, writing, tubing down the river, playing pool and hanging with friends. I’ve been practicing Wicca for about 9 years and have attained my 2nd degree, (Yup, I’m a Witch). I’ve been reading tarot for 15 years, I give private readings in my home or yours, I set up for fairs and I have created Tarot Parties where the host invites a minimum of 6 people who will each receive a mini tarot reading, a gift and there are door prizes. Along with reading Tarot cards, I teach Tarot 101 workshops and I teach Witchcraft 101 classes. I believe in affirmations, but don’t seem to be motivated to creating ones for myself and especially having them throughout my home as reminders.
