Hello! My name is Dianne and I live in Topeka, Kansas. I have been working on improving my outlook on life for many years and have known about positive affirmations for a long time, but I have never really worked at using them before. Since I am an internet and email junkie, this website seemed to be a perfect fit for me. Thank you Lee for developing it. I think I read you are in Australia. I was a Rotary exchange student to Australia in 1980. I was 16. I lived in and around Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and loved every minute of it. I sometimes visit the Skyway webcam to get a fix of the beautiful Blue Mountains valley. :-) My (now ex) husband and I also spent two weeks in Australia on our honeymoon in 1988. So I consider it my second home. :-)
In response to freygan’s comment: I remember Blackheath. Some friends of mine still live there. Sue and Ian Cottier. Have you heard of them?
I am in Kansas which is just east of Colorado! Although there is a lot of western Kansas and eastern Colorado between me and the mountains. :-) It is a small world. :-)
In response to behappy’s comment: I just realized that the comment I added wasn’t directly to you. I’m still learning how this stuff works. :-) So in case you didn’t see my earlier comment, I said ” I hear you! I have to remember that things are happening the way they are supposed to. It just may not be how I think they should. :-)”
I am excited to let you know that I am going to start teaching yoga! I have been a student of a wonderful for four years and she asked me to sub for her a couple of times. When I asked if I was qualified she said “Sure you are!”. She has been very inspirational to me and I credit her classes and friendship with helping me get through law school. If you haven’t tried it, please do. Yoga is great physical exercise but it is also so much more. The focus on the mind and spirit too are what make it amazing. :-)
In response to djr1285’s comment: I don’t know them :) Although their names sound really familiar. Are they out near Shipley? I’m out on a dirt road on the way down to the Kanimbla Valley… The spring is out here.
Congrats re: Yoga :) I don’t do yoga anymore, but I did it for YEARS since I was 13 years old. Now I do Qi Goong/Kung Fu.

Hi! I read your comment on Stevens profile. I’m still in my 30’s but have been slowly working on my self starting back in 1991, just recently using the possitive self talk. I’ve know about it for along time but was not very informed and left it at that. I’m right where I should be. Everything I do is pointing in the same direction. Just sometimes I don’t think it happens fast enough.
