Laurie's Birthday Thread

I’m not sure what day it is, but Laurie’s birthday is this month so here it goes.

We may get older, but we don’t have to run Against the Wind
And remember to hang on to your hopes in the Hazy Shade of Winter
And another year like All Things Must Pass Away but we keep learning and growing and making room for the new. The important thing is to stay Forever Young , yes Miss Laurie, Forever Young in our minds and hearts. ‘Cause if I say so myself Growing Old is Getting Old Isn’t it great too look back and say I Did It All and I Did It My Way Sure, sometimes we have to say I’m Only Human and I’ve made mistakes, but that’s how we grow. I sometimes think it would be handy to have a map to help me through these Time Passages how about you? That way I wouldn’t get stuck In the Middle of the Road so often. Of course, we could try to live A Life Less Ordinary but, really, where’s the fun in living the Least Complicated life? I love Emerson, I really identify with him, but I’m not sure he’s fit here in My Generation , most folks would probably just call him a crazy Old Man If you ask me, he had a pretty good take on things, sometimes I think I’ve really made a Mess of Me but that’s just that ol’ stinkin’ thinkin’ at work.

I know, I know, it’s kinda’ incoherent, but I hope you like the songs.
