Hi Laurie,
I have been ducking and diving in and out of bmindful (trying not to get ‘caught’ getting my daily fix of positivity).
I am on day 6 of my freedom from nicotine….hooray! My lungs are repairing themselves, my skin can breathe, my hair is glossy and my tastebuds are excited!
Thanks for your support guys!
There are great reasons to take care of yourself – ‘because your worth it!!!’ haha!
I need to work hard on self respect these days and quitting smoking is the first hurdle!
;o)

A full and thankful heart..

Sorry Laurie I could not visit the site as this is what it said:

will try later.
For me being healthy is loving yourself. If I dont love myself enough to have a healthy attitude, body, surroundings, occupation…. then I dont love anyone else also in this world. For a person nothing can be more precious than self and the loved ones. If I am not healthy then how can I take care of others and spread happiness? If I have an unhealthy attitude or opinion about myself and others then that is what I am doing to the world— spreading unhealthiness thru mind or body.
Lets be more loving/cautious and spread good healthy in all possible ways.

Enjoy good health.

We all live under the same sky, but we don’t all have the same horizon.

Why be Healthy?

This is an excellent question everyone should ask themselves… especially those who may not be in tip top shape…

As I awake every morning, this question is answered for me – by God (Universe). The sunbeams from my window streak across my bed and illuminate the gorgeous face of the man I’ve been married to for 11 1/2 years. I want to have wheel chair races down the hall of the local senior citizen center with him. … maybe I need to be a little healthier than him, so I win the race to the bathroom! ;)

One by one as my little kidlets meander down the stairs to the breakfast table, I am reminded that they are still young and I want to be healthy to watch them grow into the wonderful young men and women that they will become. Plus, I want to live long enough to watch them raise their OWN children and receive the paybacks that I have cursed on each of them!! ;) heeheeehee…

Ok, sure, sure, sure, I want to be healthy for that whole quality of life thing too… How else will I keep my mind sharp to plot my next adventure???

I am living in many dimensions at once; the appearance of being trapped in time and space is only an illusion.

Those are good reasons to be healthy for sure, when I ask myself why I try
to take care of my health,I would say in addition to many of the other
reasons I can think of a couple others. The main reason for me is I am not
a big fan of getting sick, even though sickness such as the cold or something
like that is more or less the bodies way of maintaining health or spring
cleaning. Thus far in my adult life my motivation for being
conscious of my physical health is simply because coping with being sick
such as the common flu,is not my cup of tea.
I can remember as a kid however having to cope with major migraines at least
several times a month, and the only relief was to vomit and complete bed rest
usually until the next day.So it seems likely as an adult my unconscious
or my conscious mind, became to some extent“health conscious”
By default you could say,I decided feeling somewhat balanced healthwise was
a priority, and as A Hicks would say the contrast of my early years created
a desire to be reasonably healthy.

Once you get to know Twain, you’ll never be the same.
