We really get to see many sides of a person on this site. I’d like to devote this thread to showing members what we see when we listen to them. Post as often as you’d like with many things even for the same person. Lets show them what we see. Maybe we can help them create other parts of themselves in the job market, or just for themselves and those they love.
MadCookieMan-Jeff
I see him as a creative music therapist
I wish I felt like I knew more folks to be able to comment. I’m just gonna’ throw some stuff out there, okay?
Laurie: I can picture you as the owner of a fitness center with a juice bar that also sells healthy snacks. Your business would also have yoga classes and personal growth classes. You would have classes on most nights, one night would be for the book club, another for an acting class, another for painting, etc…
Meditating Mama: A belly dancer.
PE: A kindergarden teacher.
Lee: A tortured novelist.
Vivi: A Librarian by day and a lounge singer by night.
Anoushka: A Kung Fu Priest
God’s Creation: A Sunday school teacher, but really that’s just a cover. She’s really a double naught spy.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

In response to themadcookieman’s post:
Hmmmm, sounds like a great career, covering all of my passions, and a paycheck. Do you want a job? I need a good music therapist.
Tee Hee Hee ~ My secret is out!! :) Actually, my sister is begging me to join her belly dancing class, so you may be closer to the truth than you think… :)
Let’s See… Hmmm… Jeff’s secret career… Give me a night to come up with your future… :)
I am living in many dimensions at once; the appearance of being trapped in time and space is only an illusion.
Ok MeditatingMama, I have a few for you.
1. Talk Show Host 2. A New Improved Version of Suze Orman ( -Financial Consultant for Woman Everywhere w/creative ideas galore) 3. A different version of Louise Hay ->Speciality Children’s Affirmations (Hmm maybe that could be a new speciality for you in the career world?)Lee- A famous philosopher
Mel86- Female Dr. Spock or a
creative teacher for challenged children
PE- Rock Star, and/or Rock & Roll Rock Star for Children (smiles) on a more serious note, the same kind of teacher as Mel above. See Link.
ViVi-another Suze Orman -type during the day and ‘The Lady in Red’ at night actress
Godscreation- famous singer who can sing only when she wants to(:
LOL!!! Thats so funny! I’m surprised I didnt fall under the belly dancer category – as I used to be a dancer, and got a masters in it! But I like the kung fu priest thing better!!! Tee Hee!
meditating mama – Talk show host (I agree with Laurie). For an all-round health, wealth and well-being type of show, with cookery, culture, aromatheraphy, poetry and family counselling….
Aftab – Persian Prince (You already are one) ;o)
Laurie – Fitness and nutrition writer.
MCM – Motivational speaker who incoporates music into his shows – by day. By night – sings to the terminally ill to aid their recovery.
Sorry Aftab: Persian Princess!!!
DOH!!!!
Actually, now that I know you are a woman Afi, (LOL! ;O)) I picture being an Ambience Expert. If that was a ‘thing’! Someone who designs the catering/menus, decor and ambience of cultured events, weddings, ceremonies etc. There would be lots of colour, aromas, tastes and sounds all tailored to the occasion. Music, Dance and poetry tied in too…..
Oh yes, and
Anoushka
Do you remember Leo Buscaglia (sp?).
He was an author and motivational speaker that was known for his talks on love and giving hugs->you’d be the female version:
Only You Can Make the Difference
Leo Buscaglia
Love, The Ultimate Affirmation
In response to anoushka_f’s post:
:-D I’ld love that. But I get all stressed up if I have to do a dinner party for more than 4 :-D
This is such a fun site and you are all so creative.
Laurie – a life coach, someone like louis haye, holding workshops and giving advises, helping people.
MM – I can see Talk Show Host allright – leading the conversation and in control that the situation does not get out of hand.
Godscreation – a healer.
MCM – still see you owning your own restaurant – a cosy relaxed one, where it also includes entertainment – you do good cuisine in the kitchen and then after dinner you go around the room sing and play the guitar to your guests.
Maidopo – (where is she?) Fitness trainer.
Anoushka – an artist, a little shop in a small town by the see on the island – do your own paintings/sculptures/some sort of arts and sell it right there. The shop has a little garden in front of it with hortencias (spelling?)
...what a wonderful world….
Aftab -a relationship counselor or a career head hunter for creative job seekers
I forgot to mention Aftab!!!
Aftab doesn’t really need a career, ‘cause she’s not really a mortal like the rest of us. She’s a genie.
Here’s her theme song

Too funny LOL!
I can see Laurie as a kind of Life/Spiritual Coach someone who guides people through tricky times in their lives.
MCM (Jeff) would be a Music Teacher in High School. I can imagine teenagers looking up to him. :)
enjoy life!
Best 78
I see you as a Family Educator. You’d write your own column and do workshops on parenting and being a great significant other. You’d be in high demand, because your desire to be the best you can be, and do your best shines through all you do->and everyone will want to have a bit of your spark.
Oh thanks Laurie :) I wasnt sure anyone would think of a career for me! Mind you I do help my husband with spelling difficult words and I do my best to help my daughter develop her self-esteem.
Ooh I was thinking yesterday that Lee looks like he could be some sort of New-Age Guru with information on meditation etc… He work alongside Melt who would create heathly vegertarian recipes
enjoy life!

Afi, what would be your ideal career?
In response to best78’s post:
Why not think of a career for you??? You sound quite special everytime I read your posts(smiles) What would you like an ideal career for you to be??
In response to themadcookieman’s post:
You made me laugh out loud – librarian yes, lounge singer… close… not singing but definatly hanging out in a lounge bar, maybe I’d dust off my old trumpet that I haven’t played since high school and start up some cool beatnik jazzy kinda tunes, I’d probably have to wear a beret…

Vivi, you reminded me of a really cool memory. When I was in London there was a bar in a basement of an old building, I’m not sure of the address, but it was near the Shaftsbury Theatre. Anyway, it was a pretty large room, but it was right out of the late 50’s or early 60’s. You would have thought you had walked through a time portal. It was beatnick city, baby. Jazz trumpet, bongos, stand up bass. You get the picture. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of it.

Weird, I was just thinking about you. Wasn’t sure you were coming to the site anymore. So you’re next, hmmmmm a career for Jake(:
I see you as an international columnist.
The title would read:
Significant Thoughts
It would be about getting people to open their eyes to important issues in the world, and things they can do right now to make a difference.
Of course, you’d find a way to include a little of your humor in there too(:
Se da luz – for some reason I’m thinking you may be a part-time sexy pool cleaner by day, entertaining the rich beautiful people at their exclusive addresses, just for fun & story ideas.
Afi – I think you are an international spy, you speak many languages and can blend in and secretly watch and hear secrets, but maybe you are too beautiful to really blend in.
Best78 – You are a motivational gym instructor, pushing women to try more things in the gym and also in their lives.
“Even if you’re on the right track – you’ll get run over if you just sit there” Will Rogers
Vivi – Actually I’ve been thinking about you often, I have a picture of you, but don’t know what job it is exactly. Definitly not accounting :-O Something fast moving or in many places at the same time.
AHA, got it – Event Organizer. Not just any event as in a wedding or so, a proper big one, something like a big film festival, on the phone with 5000 people at the same time telling them what they need to do, socializing and connecting here and there, at the same time making sure the flowers are all in place….
...what a wonderful world….
In response to Vivi exercises daily!‘s post:
Considering your called Vivi exercises daily you could be a Gym instructor too. Actually I can see you running your own fitness centre and if we llved in the same place I would come to do my motivational gym instuction.
enjoy life!
Lee – A yoga and spiritual teacher (finally figured it out!)
...what a wonderful world….
In response to Vivi exercises daily!‘s post:
Love Se Da Luz as the sexy pool cleaner by day for story ideas! lol That was great! Vivi, you’re great at this!
In response to aftab’s post:
Ha – nice of you to say – but like you, I have trouble organising dinner for more than 4!!! I think I prefer being in the background, that’s probably why I’m an accountant. But of course I have my 2 sides – librarian by day, lounge singer by night he he he.

In response to best78’s post:
How’s the bike riding going? I thought of a good one for you – you’ll do bike tours from quaint little village through woods to the next quaint little village, not hard-core mountain biking, but more relaxed with basket on your bike with baguette, wine, cheese, fruit, chocolate. Can I come on your tour?

In response to Vivi exercises daily!‘s post:
Ooh Vivi I dont have a bike yet :( I do like your idea of riding through woods and villages though with baguettes, wine, cheese, fruit and chocolate.
I particulary like the cheese and chocolate part.

Now, of course, I am required to get creative and think about YOU all! ;)
In response to best78’s post:
Your post reminded me of my husbands little treat yesterday. He came home with some baguettes, a variety of cheeses and jam. He made a big pot of cafe au lait (please excuse my bad french spelling) and the family had a yummy munch down!! It was wonderful!!

Hey Cookie, I was sitting in the jacuzzi today and I finally had insight to your ultimate career… Yikes, though, still in the restaurant industry!! I see that you are the visionary of your restaurant – you have your hand in the kitchen with your culinary delights, yet you also run the entertainment – live grassroots bands that awe your customers – your smiley face is at every table making sure everyone is comfortable, satisfied and happy… Your restaurant has a huge following of stars as well as simple folks. You are beloved in your community by one and all…

Lavanta -I envision her being a motivational author when the time is right for her. I see her using all of her lessons in life toward helping others. She’ll tell her lessons to someone famous, and a movie will be done about her. She will write a simplistic book that anyone anywhere can grasp to change their lives so they also can move forward in leaps and bounds, and the famous people she networks with will make her an overnight success.
