The heart is a temple…
When we think of constructing a temple, we do not think of the design but rather the inner significance of the temple.
A temple can’t exist without realization of the infinite chain; so, the heart likewise will be touched by all of the sensations of the cosmos.
All of the anguish or joy inter resounds with far off spheres.
Why then is anguish sensed more often than joy?
Constant cosmic perturbations agitate the heart that adheres to them.
Therefore is the service of such a heart so great upon the scales of the world.
Help the structure of the world!

How much is the beautiful destroyed, owing to the ignoring of the temple— the heart!

Let us begin to feel ourselves the as the bearers of the temple.

What shall we understand without the heart?

What shall we attain without beauty?

No egoism dwells in the heart.
Mercy is measured by the inmost kindliness;
it kindles the light which shines in the darkness.

If we accept light as the symbol of the aura, then its parent will be the heart.
How necessary is it to feel one’s heart not as one’s own, but as the universal one.
Only through this sensation can one liberate oneself from egoism.

the temple of the heart…yes it is sacred.

and as we see it as sacred we allow ourselves to be… & then connectedness

  • …interconnected as we were meant to be. Amen

on that note…I simply thank you for this thread…and the focus of mindfulness of heart…sacred space…and interconnection

Heartlessness is nothing save an uncultured condition of the heart.
Faint heartedness is a limitation of thinking.
Intolerance belongs to the same family of abominations which impoverish the sacred vessel of the heart.
The subtle, intensified heart creates an impetus like a generator, proving that it is a vessel of universal energy.
But the culture of the heart is not accumulated if it does not receive proper nourishment.
The best accumulator is inaction without protection and correct connection.
The heart demands constant nourishment, otherwise, deprived of the highest link, it decays.

Let us not forget how at the bottom of the chalice an infant was represented as the symbol of ascent.

One can see how the heart reflects even far off earthquakes and other world events.
One can notice how not only cosmic perturbations but even reflections of the radiations of the spirit act at remote distances.
When the treasures of energy surpass the treasures of the heart and straight knowledge, we require assistance to reestablish equilibrium.
When workers resist such cooperation, bringing irreparable harm not only to themselves but also to the General Good.
More than once have we experience such refusals.
The want of development of the heart impeded the increase of possibilities that already had been assembled through accumulations.

Our hand will not tire stretching forth to the heart the saving thread.

It is so hard to bring into action the potencies of the heart.

How sacred is the courage of self-denial, which opens the heart!

One should attempt to unite the hearts into a harmonious state.
Even a little tested heart will contribute its valuable energy to the common chalice.

After daily labors, let the discussions of the heart abound, so that we can LOVE THY NEIGHBOR and focus on the potency, purity and subtlety…

Much of the above writing has been taken from Agni Yoga “HEART”.

I have posted this thread here so that those who read this, can use this as a stepping stone. No doubt, this is powerful, and goes directly into energy work.

My intention is that we can awaken an awareness of the power of subtlety of the heart as a temple.

If we are open to the heart as the temple, we gain new perspective into our role, our purpose, and a truly life changing access into the purity of one’s heart. One must become prepared for this extreme growth, otherwise the purity of this work, if not done in stages of growth and accumulation, can cause undesirable blockages, or even injury you psychically. Growth must be measured and respected.

This transformation manifests itself in our perception, our behavior and the things that we set about manifesting and finally, our focus is transformed…

Thank you All for reading.

And thank you Appreciating, for nurturing this awesome website and for standing for All that is possible, holding this website as sacred and joyously interconnected.

I am able to look back at how much I have grown and have more of a treasured heart that I have manifested as a result of the work and the community that I have gotten here. Its priceless, my life has been uplifted… and everyone here has a hand in this gift of community. In fact, the community is what I have found that makes this website exactly what it is, right now.

Absolutely Magnificent!.
Thank you for sharing and nurturing not only our spirit, but, our growth and development. I am grateful.

Thank you Nancee and Robert.

I understand that the actual writing is “metaphysical”, there is no doubt, but, for me, its the path which I am on.

I am still growing with this thread. This is very rich. It takes time to assimilate this. It takes effort, I have to intend for a clearing, making space for this to take root.

Can I share, briefly, a few lines which I would like to discuss?
I would love any and all feed back.
You may have a completely different interpretation, and I am interested in your thoughts.

So, in the 5th entry:
“When the treasures of energy
surpass the treasures of heart and straight knowledge
we require assistance to reestablish equilibrium.”

Wow, there are several thoughts which come to my mind.
The “treasures of energy”…
I just have a strong impression that the word “energy” in this sentence is, thought.
And, here we all are, on this website for positivity.
So, thoughts, which lead to beliefs…
beliefs, lead to behavior, and so forth.
What is valuable, is the word “treasure”;
seems obvious, what which you treasure, is in your heart.

On of my most favorite books in the bible is Proverbs. It talks about wisdom extensively.
Proverbs 4:23
“Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out if it Are the issues of life”.

So, that line was very powerful. To me, it brings back to me the role and the wealth, the richness of the treasure of the heart. Its so powerful, that it needs to be balanced even against ambition, or power in the world, or against any thing that exists in the world— it is NOT greater than the treasures of the heart.

I promise to be short in my thoughts, but I will stop with this last but large thought:
If the world were to take this concept, and apply this literally—- the world could be transformed. Greed, fear, hunger, war, child abuse, child pornography, all of the evils people intentionally and consciously inflict upon others, could be healed. People could be so transformed, that families, communities, international communities could be positively impacted, and education, social justice and business opportunities could be launched. We could all prosper, if the treasures of the heart were balanced with the treasures of energy. Prisoners, whom are nonviolent could potentially be restored to society (great discretion to all who release people who have no business being released. Know the difference.)

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Please, take your time, think about the universality of the treasures of the heart, and the possibilities of how this could elevate consciousness and cause a culture of greater “subtelty”.
Any thing is possible…

My thoughts still keep coming…

When balance is achieved between our heart and the mind, obviously, the hidden subtlety is not visible except for people who can see the inner goodness of others.
