★ Remind yourself that you are beautiful

I found this today. Thought you ladies would like.

I’ve started telling my daughters I’m beautiful

“I don’t want my girls to be children who are perfect and then, when they start to feel like women, they remember how I thought of myself as ugly and so they will be ugly too.”

In response to AccidentalNote’s post:

Very nice AccidentalNote that’s a good idea. I started taking care of myself more recently. Since I’m getting older I don’t feel that attractive anymore and have let myself go. The best thing that helped me was an ex-boyfriend who said, “Mary if you get off tract go back and start again, there is no hurry as long as you do it.” He is one of the most positive persons I have ever known.

I’ve never seen your “outside”, but inside you are definitely a hottie! As far as I can tell, most of us here on bmindful are hotties on the inside! We are all smart and good. That’s a pretty hot combo in my book.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

I’m Alright
Life Less Ordinary

thank you for this great thread Accidental Note .So many women focus on their bodies and don’t see the beautiful souls that they are inside .

In the media there is this message as though ageing is something awful instead of the gift it is ,look at the alternative .

There is nothing more beautiful than eyes that are shining with love wether it is a young baby or a very old great grandmother .

As long as I have a smile to share I can spread joy
As long as I have arms I can share love by hugging
As long as I can see, hear, taste, touch and speak I have so much to be grateful for and to help others with .

Life is such a gift and our children need to grow up looking forwards to every new day of their lives .

“If You Would Grow – Shine The Light Of Loving Self-Care On Yourself
If you would grow to your best self
Be patient, not demanding
Accepting, not condemning
Nurturing, not withholding
Self-marveling, not belittling
Gently guiding, not pushing and punishing
For you are more sensitive than you know
Mankind is as tough as war yet delicate as flowers
We can endure agonies but we open fully only to warmth and light
And our need to grow is as fragile as a fragrance Dispersed by storms of will
To return only when those storms are still
So, accept, respect, attend your sensitivity
A flower cannot be opened with a hammer.

The applications of gratitude and blessing are virtually unlimited, can be used by anyone, require no waiting periods or large capital investments, transcend ideological differences, and are wonderfully contagious.
