Motivation from older threads coming soon….
On Exercise Overall Attitude & Motives for Being Healthy
►•►•►•►•►•►•►•►•►•►•►•►•
The first quote below is from Sonia from 2009, a bmindful member who had posted her view on being healthy,
“For me being healthy is loving yourself. If I dont love myself enough to have a healthy attitude, body, surroundings, occupation…. then I dont love anyone else also in this world. For a person nothing can be more precious than self and the loved ones. If I am not healthy then how can I take care of others and spread happiness? If I have an unhealthy attitude or opinion about myself and others then that is what I am doing to the world— spreading unhealthiness thru mind or body.Lets be more loving/cautious and spread good healthy in all possible ways.Enjoy good health.”~Sonia

I found this on an old thread so brought it over here

1)go for a walk ——————— 2)bounce on trampoline —————————— 3)eat healthy food ———————— 4)meditate ———— 5)write in journal ———————— 6)do something creative ——————————- 7)be grateful —————-

i decided its action time and started doodling a chart, i have the idea to draw in pencil a rainbow ,added be gtatefull to mylist so i have seven points ,one is each colour of the rainbow ,im dividing the rainbow into 7 sections and each day i color in the things i have achieved ,also putting pictures and quotes so it will be my excersise vision board and i get to make a new one each week .

“I have fun getting fit “

Cool idea flower girl. I love drawing with my mobile phone app, so this would be like “empowering” doodling wouldn’t it?! I love colour, so a colour-oriented gratitude list sounds like it would really touch one’s soul, rather than be an intellectual only exercise.

I’m copying and pasting your lists too, SelfcareEnthusiast. I love the way you make lists that are so direct and easy to understand. Thanks!

Physical exercise certainly lifts my spirits, and keeps me in a positive mood. I walk frequently and am going to increase my gym workouts. When I was having a bad time emotionally because of a little crisis, I think going to the gym every day during that time was my saving grace (along with my friends’ support!).
