I picture something, it’s beautiful
It’s full of life, and it is all blue
I’ve seen the sunset on the beach, yeah
It makes me feel calm
When I’m calm, I feel good

And when I feel good, I sing
And the joy it brings makes me feel good
And when I feel good, I sing
And the joy it brings

Come on along
I know you really wanna feel our song
We’ve got some life to bring
We’ve got some joy in this thing
(x2)

I see birds fly across the sky
And everyone’s heart flies together
Food is frying and people smiling
Like there is no other way to feel good

And when I feel good, I sing
And the joy it brings makes me feel good
Cos when I feel good, I sing
Of the joy it brings

Come on along
I know you really wanna feel our song
We’ve got some life to bring
We’ve got some joy in this thing
(x2)

It brings me freedom
Got to get you some of that freedom
It’s a freedom

Singing freedom
You deserve your freedom
It’s a smile you can feel in your heart beat

Get you (7x) that freedom

You’re My Best Friend

This song by Don Wiliams is dedicated to my wonderful Mum and Dad ,it was “their song “ for each other .They have both passed now but left me the gift of growing up in a home filled with love and a happy marriage .

There are so many great songs being posted on this thread. I love it! I love me some Don Williams too, FG. You guys would probably laugh at me if you could hear my accent. I’m from the south, well sort of, I live in Arkansas. I guess I should say the southernish part of North America. I’m gonna’ post a few of my favorite Don Williams songs, FG.

Lord, I Hope this Day is Good
Good Ole Boys Like Me
Listen to the Radio
I was going to post “I’m Just a Country Boy”, but couldn’t find it on youtube.
If Hollywood Don’t Need You
I Believe in You

And that’s just a FEW of his great songs. There is something about Don Williams that I can’t put into words, but if you listen to his music very much you will more than likely come to appreciate how special it is.

I’m going to post a few songs that more than likely you haven’t heard, but I think are wonderful for one reason or another.

You Plant Your Fields
Me and Mrs. Jones done by Thomas Lang. That is a great album, by the way.
You’re My Home by Billy Joel, I was trying to find more songs from the Songs in the Attic album. It is a great album. Last night in fact that album crossed my mind and I meant to add it to my recommendations list. You guys need to check out Billy Joel’s Songs in the Attic. It is a fantastic album.
Not Just Another Girl by Ivan Neville. I tried and tried to find some songs from his Primitive Man album, but sadly couldn’t. His brother is more famous, but this guy is really something.
Rocky Road to Dublin by Orthodox Celts.
Here is one that reaches in and grabs you! You MUST listen to Sing All Our Cares Away by Damien Dempsey. Listen, I promise you will love this one.
Here’s one that won’t be everyone’s cup a Jo, but I dig Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow Is it too early for Christmas? Listen to that one with headphones. I LOVE the meter to this song.
The Truth Will Always Be by Pat Metheny. This song blows me away. As does Minuano Six Eight
Madman Across the Water is a great Elton John song you might not have heard before. Grey Seal is another great one by Elton John. Grey Seal Yellow Brick Road version.
Here are some great songs from David Bowie. Life on Mars and Andy Warhol
Streets of Arklow by Van Morrison
Here are some great songs by Ben Folds. Bastard and There’s Always Someone Cooler than You That last one is a VERY bmindful type song in my opinion. Caution, there is a dirty word in it, lol.

Okay, I gonna stop now. I could do this all night.
