Within You Without You ~ The Beatles
We were talking
About the space between us all
And the people who hide themselves
Behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth
Then it’s far too late
When they pass away
We were talking
About the love we all could share
When we find it
To try our best to hold it there
With our love, with our love
We could save the world
If they only knew
Try to realize it’s all within yourself
No one else can make you change
And to see you’re really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you
We were talking
About the love that’s gone so cold
And the people who gain the world
And lose their soul
They don’t know, they can’t see
Are you one of them
When you’ve seen beyond yourself
Then you may find
Peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come
When you see we’re all one
And life flows on within you and without you
Tomorrow Never Knows ~ The Beatles
Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream,
It is not dying, it is not dying
Lay down all thought, surrender to the void,
Is it shining? Is it shining?
That you may see the meaning of within
It is being, it is being
Love is all and love is everyone
Is it knowing? Is it knowing?
That ignorance and hate may mourn the dead
It is believing, it is believing
But listen to the colour of your dreams
Is it not living? is it not living?
Or play the game “Existence” to the end
Of the beginning, of the beginning

The Science of Getting Rich Summary
The Science of Getting Rich ~ Read by Denis Waitley
About Denis Waitely
THERE IS A THINKING STUFF FROM WHICH ALL THINGS ARE MADE,and
which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
A person can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
In order to do this, a person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. Otherwise he cannot be in harmony with formless intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.
A person may come into full harmony with the formless substance by entertaining a lively and sincere gratitude for the blessings it bestows upon him.
Gratitude unifies the mind of man with the intelligence of substance, so that man’s thoughts are received by the formless.
A person can remain upon the creative plane only by uniting himself with the formless intelligence through a deep and continuous feeling of gratitude.
A person must form a clear and definite mental image of the things he wishes to have, to do, or to become, and he must hold this mental image in his thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the supreme that all his desires are granted to him.
The person who wishes to get rich must spend his leisure hours in
contemplating his vision, and in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to him.
Too much stress cannot be laid on the importance of frequent contemplation of the mental image, coupled with unwavering faith and devout gratitude.
This is the process by which the impression is given to the formless and the creative forces set in motion.
Excerpted From “The Science of Getting Rich ~ Summary, page 59, Wallace D. Wattles.
This book is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached.
It is expected that the reader will take the fundamental statements upon faith, just as he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated by a Marconi or an Edison; and, taking the statements upon faith, that he will prove their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation.
Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich; for the science herein applied is an exact science, and failure is impossible. For the benefit, however, of those who wish to investigate philosophical theories and so secure a logical basis for faith, I will here cite certain authorities.
The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world -is of Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the western world for two hundred years.
It is the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies, and of those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson.
The reader who would dig to the philosophical foundations of this is advised to read Hegel and Emerson for himself.
In writing this book I have sacrificed all other considerations to plainness and simplicity of style, so that all might understand. The plan of action laid down herein was deduced from the conclusions of philosophy; it has been thoroughly tested, and bears the supreme test of practical experiment; it works.
If you wish to know how the conclusions were arrived at, read the writings of the authors mentioned above; and if you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actualpractice, read this book and do exactly as it tells you to do.

The Science Of Being Great ~ pdf
The Right To Be Rich ~
WHATEVER MAY BE SAID IN PRAISE OF POVERTY, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich.
No one can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with.
A person develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things.
Therefore, the basis of all advancement must be the science of getting rich. The object of all life is development, and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining.
A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich.
In this book, I shall not speak of riches in a figurative way. To be really rich does not mean to be satisfied or contented with a little. No one ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more.
The purpose of nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life, and everyone should have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life. To be content with less is sinful. The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the life he is capable of living is rich, and no person who has not plenty of money can have all he wants.
Life has advanced so far and become so complex that even the most ordinary man or woman requires a great amount of wealth in order to live in a manner that even approaches completeness. Every person naturally wants to become all that they are capable of becoming. This desire to realize innate possibilities is inherent in human nature; we cannot help wanting to be all that we can be.
Success in life is becoming what you want to be.
You can become what you want to be only by making use of things, and you can have the free use of things only as you become rich enough to buy them. To understand the science of getting rich is therefore the mostessential of all knowledge.
There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life — and that desire is praiseworthy.
The person who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the person who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.
There are three motives for which we live: We live for the body, we live for the mind, we live for the soul. No one of these is better or holier than the other; all are alike desirable, and no one of the three — body, mind, or soul — can live fully if either of the others is cut short of full life and expression.
It is not right or noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body, and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.
We are all acquainted with the loathsome consequences of living for the body and denying both mind and soul, and we see that real life means the complete expression of all that a person can give forth through body, mind, and soul.
Whatever he can say, no one can be really happy or satisfied unless his body is living fully in its every function, and unless the same is true of his mind and his soul.
Wherever there is unexpressed possibility or function not performed, there is unsatisfied desire. Desire is possibility seeking expression or function seeking performance.
A person cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable clothing, and warm shelter, and without freedom from excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life.
One cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without intellectual companionship. To live fully in mind a person must have intellectual recreations, and must surround himself with all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.
To live fully in soul, a person must have love, and love is denied fullest expression by poverty.
A person’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving.
The individual who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a spouse or parent, as a citizen, or as a human being. It is in the use of material things that a person finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul.
It is therefore of supreme importance to each individual to be rich.
It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich.
If you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so.
It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the science of getting rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies.
If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity, for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.

All good books“I assure you’
I have all of them” however I must say that there is no such thing as money’only energy“and if you are aligned with your god source energy then all your material desires will be fulfilled and remember that those guys lived in a different paradigm and are looking at reality from their perspective’
Currently The happiest man in the world is a buddhist monk so he is rich (maybe not in your reality but his”)he has beautiful food’beautiful thoughts, beautiful smile and a magnetic charishmatic personality
Quantum physics has shown that you are the observer of your own reality and Wattles was right about the thinking stuff in between spaces’which we now know is a holographic perception of the universe so being rich is an interpretation’
But if the capatalist system choked tomorrow and money was replaced by a new financial paradigm then the reality would again be changed but the prosperity attitude never changes and stays in accordance with your
observation with reality so money is only a concept based on time and releativity’
(having a poverty conciousness is an entirely different thing and stems from unconcious programming from parents/friends and institutions from birth)

Intention – Open Your Mind
urban yogi, If you do not find sufficient value in this post, and the point that is being made with this material I have organized here, perhaps others will.
That would be each persons choice and that is fine. .
The point being made here, I believe, is Not just that there is a “money only” energy, but rather, that our own purpose directed thoughts, visualizations and actions, create specific results . In this case a tangible realization of a controlled focus on prosperity.
This is also part the same principle that is completely expounded in Napoloen Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, and by many other authors in timeless classic books.
Brian Tracy’s books are extremely vaulable in this resepct, as are Wayne Dyer’s and share this view. Catherine Ponders books, among them ,“The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity”, and “The Dynamic Laws of Prayer”, both are also a valuable addition to anyones library.
Catherine Ponder is also listed in Brian Tracy’s bibilographies.
Perhaps a more careful re-reading, of this book, and “Think and Grow Rich” and a study of the the given texts here might be illuminating .
Money is obviously a valauable resourse for all of us.
I, myself, do find it worthwhile and necessary, to carefully study a given text, and the philosophy contained therein, to fully appreciate it’s true value.
If, this post does prove helpful to anyone, in any way, in any context… be it spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally, financially, in any way possible, then I feel that this is a good and fine thing and that is why I took the time to put it up here.
I feel there is value inherent in this information.
Many different authors and spiritual teachers throughout the ages have expressed this wisdom and knowledge in unique and varied ways. They have shared with us, this, their understanding of their experience with, and of, this knowledge. It is found in the Bible.
The principles discussed in this author’s presentation are timeless.
They are presented here, again, so that others may consider the meaning and , if they see merit and choose to do so, make use of them, and apply them to their own life.
I am so grateful for all of their wisdom and all their contributions, and I thank them all, as do many others, and acknowledge both their wisdom, and their efforts to better humanity by leaving a record of their seeking during their time here on earth.
This, then, our awareness of the Universe and the existence of a Creative Intelligence, as seen through the mind of human experience, is to be found in the many writings and oral traditions of all of the world’s great religions, cultures and spiritual teachings, and contained in the writings of the great philosophers, and too, the pragmatic approach of science.
These writings, teachings and the consideration and the transmission of this knowledge, through humanity, can be also be seen as an expression of the unfolding of the wonder and elegance of the living, Infinite Creative Intelligence of the Universe.
This incredilble amazing Infinite Universe that we all live in, is such a magnificient and mysterious force… a truly Divine living consciousness, (what ever we may call it), that no one of us , or any of us, can fully comprehend, or claim to understand it’s origin or it’s nature . We are all learning.
I, as do many others, do find hope, strength, wisdom and a practical value in the material contained herein; as I do in the writings and teachings of many other writers, scholars, spiritual leaders , scientists, acedemics, throughout time.

Serpintine Fire ~ Earth Wind and Fire
When I see your face like the mornin sun you spark me to shine
Tell all the world, my need is fulfilled and that’s a new design
As long as you’re near, there is no fear of a victory
But when I’m away, influences stray my mind to disagree
I wanna see your face in the morning sun ignite my energy
The cause and effect of you has brought new meaning in my life to me
Gonna tell a story morning glory all about the serpentine fire
Gonna tell a story morning glory all about the serpentine fire
Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah, oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah
I need to see your face like the morning sun ignite my energy
The cause and effect of you has brought new meaning in my life to me
The moments I find when I’m inclined to do my best
Negative wins when I give in and then I lose the test (not many times)
Gonna tell a story morning glory all about the serpentine fire
Surely as life begun, you will as one battle with the serpentine fire
Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah, oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah
Surely as life begun, you will as one battle with the serpentine fire

After the Love is Gone – Earth Wind and Fire
For awhile, to love was all we could do
we were young and we knew
and our eyes were alive
Deep inside we knew our love was true
For awhile, we paid no mind to the past
we knew love would last
Ev’ry night somethin’ right
would invite us to begin the dance
Somethin’ happened along the way
what used to be happy was sad
Somethin’ happened along the way
and yesterday was all we had
And oh, after the love has gone
how could you lead me on
and not let me stay around
Oh oh oh, after the love has gone
what used to be right is wrong
Can love that’s lost be found
For awhile, to love each other with all
we would ever need
Love was strong for so long
never knew that what was
wrong, oh baby, wasn’t right
We tried to find what we had
till sadness was all we shared
We were scared this affair would lead our love into
Somethin’ happened along the way
yesterday was all we had
Somethin’ happened along the way
what used to be happy is sad
Somethin’ happened along the way
oh yesterday was all we had
And oh after the love has gone

They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind,

Nothing’s gonna change my world,
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva, om,
Nothing’s gonna change my world,
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Nothing’s gonna change my world.
Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing
Through my opened ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying Love which shines around me like a

That you’re gonna be a little late
Pure as a kiss on a cheek in a word
That everything will be okay
Call in the mornin’ from my little sister
Singin’ to me, “Happy Birthday”
In the quest for fortune and fame
Don’t forget about the simple things
(It’s the little things) It’s the little things

Give me some piece of mind
Bring me some sunshine, bring me some blue sky
Runnin’ ‘round in circles, lost my focus
Lost sight of my goal
I do this for the love of music
Not for the glitter and gold
Got everything that I pray for
Even a little more
When I ask to learn humility
This is what I was told

And the joy they bring, it’s the little things
(The little things) It’s the little things

Give me some good news, give me some cute shoes
Give me Atlanta, give me Savannah
give me my peace of mind
Give me some Stevie, give me some Donny
Give me my daddy, give me my mommy
Pour me some sweet tea, spoonful of honey

When putting these and other princples in practice . The most important thing to remember is to actually DO THEM and keep doing them.
Study them,( Not once but over and over again ).
Reread “Think and Grow Rich, (for example). Read it every day. Get the complete audio version too , the 1937 edition is good It can often be found in your local library. Read it 3 times and just begin. Get a proper overview of the whole philosophy. Study it, master it, turn off your television and focus.
This may seem rather obvious, but how many people “lose their focus”, time again and allow themselves, and thus their attention, and( ulitmately), allow their whole life, to be diverted into less fruitful lines of thinking and action. Meditation helps to focus. Help your self! Believe, focus on you, your life, and what you want to create and start living.
Many public figures are well aware of these principles (See above), and if you know where to look and have eyes to see, it is perfectly obvious, and many will flat out tell you. It is to be found in the all worlds spiritual traditions and in countless books both old and new.
They are no different than you, or I, in this respect. They just looked for it, found it, understand it, and mantain their focus on what they want , NOT what they don’t want. It is the same for all of us.
Bibliographies too, are meant to serve a important purpose. The authors find value in these books and wanted you the reader to experience it as well.
Study this bibliography and read the books, compare also, what books are common to other authors. What priciples are not only timeless but are important to you right NOW, right here, today?

Now this is my kinda’ thread! Good work!
“...This may seem rather obvious, but how many people “lose their focus”, time again, and allow themselves, and their attention, and their lives, to be diveverted into less fruitful lines of thinking and action.”
Man, that is soooooo true of me.

In response to themadcookieman’s post:
Losing focus is easy when you forget your “own mission statement” in life.
For myself when certain circumstances came to a place where “push came to shove” ..I ‘saw’ again(: what mattered the most to me. Bottom line focus was decluttered..and my person mission statement was once again in clear focus.
Life gets fuzzy sometimes..but that’s not bad..it just is. We learn and we learn..
some thing can really clear away the fog, ... a sick child or other biggies

Do, every day, all that you can do that day, and do each act in an efficient manner.
In saying that you must hold your vision while you are doing each act, however trivial or commonplace, I do not mean to say that it is necessary at all times to see the vision distinctly to its smallest details.
It should be the work of your leisure hours to use your imagination on the details of your vision, and to contemplate them until they are firmly fixed upon memory.
If you wish speedy results, spend practically all your spare time in this practice.
By continuous contemplation you will get the picture of what you want, even to the smallest details, so firmly fixed upon your mind, and so completely transferred to the mind of Formless Substance, that in your working hours you need only to mentally refer to the picture to stimulate your faith and purpose, and cause your best effort to be put forth. Contemplate your picture in your leisure hours until your consciousness is so full of it that you can grasp it instantly.
You will become so enthused with its bright promises that the mere
thought of it will call forth the strongest energies of your whole being.
Let us again repeat our syllabus, and by slightly changing the closing statements bring it to the point we have now reached.
There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon
formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; he must form a clear mental picture of the things he wants, and do, with faith and purpose, all that can be done each day, doing each separate thing in an efficient manner.

I own “The Science of Getting Rich”, “Think and Grow Rich” and “The Secret”. I have read them all thoroughly and I am currently re-reading, ‘The Science of Getting Rich’. I love the concepts discussed in these books about the law of attraction and that it is meant to be used for our benefit and advantage in life. I love that. However, just like there are many people in life, so there are many different perspectives on this subject of the law of attraction. All are interesting perspectives, because this, to me, is a very interesting subject.
I believe that focusing on what your want, intently, through visualisation, specific guided action, affirmations, setting goals, support networks, self help material, divine texts supporting this concept, and a myriad of other ways to encourage one to develop their desires into manifestation….all are very good to use and, regardless of one’s specific beliefs, are all going to help one to manifest their desires, more than they did before anyway…..PEACE
DAVID
As the wise man, King Solomon said, “Do not wear yourself out in becoming rich,...have the wisdom to show restraint”....
And this is coming from the richest man of his time, ....in the whole world!!!
There is good sense in that statement
Regardless of you desires to be ‘richer’...whatever that may mean for you, do not strive for it…allow it to be your life….you are not meant to struggle…at alll…..for anything in life…
GO WITH THE FLOW....GO DOWNSTREAM....LIVE EASY...BE FREE...BE PEACEFUL!!!
PEACE
